Brandon Piller and Ross Levitan get the draft discussion started a little differently this year. We explain how we will be covering this years draft since the Sens don’t have any picks in the first three rounds. We’re starting things off with the projected first overall pick: Connor Bedard. The Sens ownership drags on so we touch on concerns we have about that.

Im sorry but i couldn't disagree more with Pillzys take on the pride month. If someone refuses to wear it for religious reasons, then nobody has any business in telling them how to practice their religion. Im not religious and dont care one way or the other but telling ppl how to go about their religion has never been on the right aide of history. Its 2023 guys, this group isnt getting persecuted. Mountains are being made out of mole hills based on ppl beliefs. Anyways enough of that.....go sens go!!
💯 I am a practicing Shia Muslim. I have no problem with the LGBTQ community. My neighbour’s kid recently came out as trans, and I’ve been supportive of her. But on the other side of the coin, you can’t force people to do something.
When people start getting mad at athletes for not wearing something because of their beliefs, it’s hypocritical. If you support one person’s lifestyle, you then have to be equally supportive of that persons religion as you are of the LGBTQ community. It’s gotta go both ways. Otherwise you’re oppressing one person in order to raise another. And that’s not fair.
If athletes were actively saying negative things about gay people, that would be one thing. But that isn’t what’s happening. They are just simply opting not to wear something. And I guarantee you 99.99% of players in the league right now couldn’t care less if one of their teammates was gay.
Personally, I WOULD wear a rainbow jersey in warm ups if I was asked to. But if you told me I HAD to, or I’d be ostracized, I’d probably tell you to go frack yourself. Lol
