The most touching part was probably when Mob confessed that he knew about Reigen not having powers all along, yet he still stayed by his side and kept calling him master because of how much he looked up to him. Such a beautiful relationship from such amazing characters.
That's the thing, Mob never once asked Reigen if he could help him with his powers. All he did was earnestly confide in Reigen how being a naturally powerful esper scared him. What hit me the most, was the fact that Mob knew Reigen was lying. Even so he kept going because he just wanted someone to talk to :( just look at his reaction when Reigen told him to return the next day.
What hit me the most was the part where Reigen said to just be a good person. It hit me because I have been just as socially awkward as mob. I also been learning how to feel like I fit in society and recently even got a college degree and a drivers license. I still get nervous around people but last week I spent a few hours talking to a really pretty woman and I’m glad to say that I have made quite a couple of new friends. I made a lot of improvements but it took a lot of moments of facing my fear of feeling rejected and like a failure to others. My social anxieties have been one of my biggest obstacles to my growth.
@@Redharvest10 Eyyy bro, glad you are overcoming your barricades :) for some reason i also "had" problems connecting to people, even my own family, i just think they wouldn´t understand me... Luckily i met some good people along the road and it is lovely how many kinds of personalities exist. I used to like to this anime but after watching season 2 it is my favorite series of all time, nothing else will replace the feelings this show has brought me. "People can change"
cellP8 “because they can change, they have value.” That also struck out to me. In fact I found myself crying in that episode where mob said that he should be more thankful for others that have been there for him. I’ve also had trouble connecting with my own family. I connect the best with complete strangers, some who felt like strangers to themselves but it was those same strangers that turned out to be the good people that I encountered along the road. Let’s be friends. I think we’ll have plenty of ups and downs to talk about.
Same scene as in the beginning but funny how much different a scene becomes when you flip perspectives. Truly brilliant scene and anime in general, Mob is easily in my top 3
Reigen: “I’ll just spout some BS so that this kid will go home and leave me alone” Also Reigen: Gives some actual great advice that not only gives peace to a troubled kid, afraid of himself and the powers that he has. It became Mob’s core philosophy, one that had he not heard, might’ve turned into someone like Claw’s boss.
I like how Reigen is a conman and cynical in his thoughts, but he really is a good person. It's been proven many times before Mob said it. Even when Reigen was at his lowest. What a beautiful story.
That Arc was the biggest reason I recommend Mob Psycho to everyone. Nothing made me tear up more than seeing Mob saying that he always knew that his master was always a good person along.
This episode was so cute! The part where Mob who was black and white turns colors, I think it means that Mob brought color to Reigens life! 😭💖 my heart
At first reigen never even intended to help mob outside of helping his feelings, then he realized how mob could help him, finally though he developed a deep emotional attachment to mob even showing that he cares deeply about a person who he seemed worthy
Dude. The chapter when he discovers that that one girl was possessed by analizing her speech patterns. That was top-notch psychologist moment for me. I even thought before seeing the episode that tells what Reigen did before being a spiritualist that he was a psychologist that got interested after finding a magazine about Spiritualism. Although I kinda did guess the magazine thing xd
I know reigen took advantage of mob’s ability but he genuinely a nice guy. He played along with a kid’s game and tried to send the kid home with a good advice
one small act of kindness can change the world of another this is beautiful, especially how we see how mob saw the event; Reigen thinks he's a bad person with no power and is using Mob for his own gain, but to Mob Reigen has power, power of words and confidence, skills that to someone like Mob is more broken of a superpower than his own. They're both kind at heart and in the end, they both help each other to become better people
The author, ONE, has even gone on record to say that he only writes OPM in his free time as a hobby. While Mob Psycho 100 is his serious work, where he puts all his time and effort into improving and fleshing out the characters.
Damm the ending to this episode is just so powerful. Just a few words were enough to make us feel so many different feelings. Reigen is a great character and Mobs progession is awesome
One could argue regan was using mob, but at the same time? He showed kindness and gave Mob grounding. He became a friend and mentor to a scared kid still trying to get a handle on life.
Honestly I love this scene because if it weren't for reigen, mob might have turned out like teru, or toichiro since he wouldn't have had anyone to guide him
I really love Reigen and Dimple's relationship with mob. On the surface they looked like they were taking advantage of him but they really cared and did things the only way they knew how to.
Reigen didn't even take a second to question or be surprised at his powers just immediately getting to the point lool He is such a good con artist that he isn't taken aback by a strange truth
The fact that Reigen no longer smokes in the office since Mob joined warms my heart even more

@@Redharvest10 i don´t have many internet buddies, but ok xD
cellP8 awesome! Do you have any social media?
Nobody stopped to mention Reigen's first concern was Shigeo getting burnt by the tea when he dropped it
Ikr??
Won't lie.. I had to hold my tears a little bit after this episode.
This right here is the *entire* point of Mob Psycho 100. It's so refreshing when an anime has an inspiring and realistic message.
It hits even harder knowing he really helped him... Thanks mob psycho 100 for existing 😭❤️
reigen is sketchy asf, but damn, how i love this man. Such a big heart, his potencial for kindness is insane
It's so cute because at the end it meant he made his world colourful
Same scene as in the beginning but funny how much different a scene becomes when you flip perspectives. Truly brilliant scene and anime in general, Mob is easily in my top 3
mobs parents were so chill about him getting a job at like age 8 😭😭 love this show
Reigen: “I’ll just spout some BS so that this kid will go home and leave me alone”
Also Reigen: Gives some actual great advice that not only gives peace to a troubled kid, afraid of himself and the powers that he has.
They found each other out of the crowd, and treated each other like treasure.
when mob brought color to reigens life 😭🥹💕💕
That Arc was the biggest reason I recommend Mob Psycho to everyone. Nothing made me tear up more than seeing Mob saying that he always knew that his master was always a good person along.
reigen is such a dad, i love how he treats mob like his little brother/kid its so wholesome
This is (as far as i recall) the first anime episode that made me cry
God dammit
*Sniffs* ......
Who left this bowl of onions here? 😢
This episode was so cute! The part where Mob who was black and white turns colors, I think it means that Mob brought color to Reigens life! 😭💖 my heart
everybody say "Thank you hot cup of tea" for spilling.
More like "Thank you for being impatient with your hot food and drinks, Reigen" 😂
This anime is absolute cinema, that's all i have to say
At first reigen never even intended to help mob outside of helping his feelings, then he realized how mob could help him, finally though he developed a deep emotional attachment to mob even showing that he cares deeply about a person who he seemed worthy
Reigen could've made a great living as a psychologist
Their relationship started with Reigen's bluff.
It ended with Reigen's truth
In the end Reigen kept his words, he showed him how to use his power by helping Mob accept himself.
I know reigen took advantage of mob’s ability but he genuinely a nice guy. He played along with a kid’s game and tried to send the kid home with a good advice
I love this scene so much it makes me cry every single time I watch it
one small act of kindness can change the world of another
this is beautiful, especially how we see how mob saw the event;
Reigen thinks he's a bad person with no power and is using Mob for his own gain, but to Mob Reigen has power, power of words and confidence, skills that to someone like Mob is more broken of a superpower than his own.
They're both kind at heart and in the end, they both help each other to become better people
1:15 HE IS LITERALLY THE MOST CUTEST AND MOST ADORABLE THING THAT EVER EXISTED I LOVE HIM SO MUCH PLEASE LET ME SQUEEZE HIM PLEASE
And here was when Reigen changed Mob's life and Mob changed Raigen's life
Powers or not Reigen is still badass.
Damn Reigen just invents that suff as he's speaking to get rid of the child and still it's one of the wisest things he has said...
I also think about how the first thing Reigan thought when he spilled his drink was for mob not to get burned.
Reigen: "I'll just come up with something to get him go home"
Also Reigen: **STARTS TELLING MOB THE HOLE MENTALITY THAT SAVES THE ANIME**
0:12 Sharp mind, strong observation ability, and relatively good arms for melee...
He would be a good detective...
『名探偵レイゲン』、堂々連載!!!
I like this scene a lot. One of the most heartwarming episodes which says a lot about both Reigen and Mob.
And now it has ended. One of the greatest stories ever told.
Mob Psycho is better than OPM ...
Definitely. I'm far more interested in Mob Psycho because of the well written character development.
Arthur P. OPM is just a gag. It’s good but Mob Psycho is better because it has a good story and character development
The author, ONE, has even gone on record to say that he only writes OPM in his free time as a hobby. While Mob Psycho 100 is his serious work, where he puts all his time and effort into improving and fleshing out the characters.
Lol
You guys are just saying so
In terms of entertainment opm wins in my opinion
Mob wins in character development
I like both.
This genuinely makes me tear up. Reigen really is one of the best characters in anime.
mob calling reigen 'oniisan' here i so sweet
Damm the ending to this episode is just so powerful. Just a few words were enough to make us feel so many different feelings. Reigen is a great character and Mobs progession is awesome
Kid Mob is so wholesome 🙂
One could argue regan was using mob, but at the same time?
He showed kindness and gave Mob grounding. He became a friend and mentor to a scared kid still trying to get a handle on life.
he was doing both. he stops being a user and gains some respect for the kid after this episode.
One of those episodes that’ll make you smile every time you watch it. This show is a gift
Reigen... 😭
I too cry when I see that man
Mob feeling scared and cant talk about it to anyone just hits different. its so sad 😭
Mob has grown up significantly from this point onward and has started to become more confident in himself.
Honestly I love this scene because if it weren't for reigen, mob might have turned out like teru, or toichiro since he wouldn't have had anyone to guide him
Why is nobody talking about how adorable my boy Shigeo is?? 😔💕
Father and Son
I really love Reigen and Dimple's relationship with mob.
On the surface they looked like they were taking advantage of him but they really cared and did things the only way they knew how to.
Reigen didn't even take a second to question or be surprised at his powers just immediately getting to the point lool
He is such a good con artist that he isn't taken aback by a strange truth
just remember the reason Mob didnt become someone like Mogami or Toichiro was because Reigen was there for him
Ok but they really didn't have to animate the smoothest looking match-lighting ever
