the whole reason they're called con artists is because they've MASTERED the con so well, it's like watching a form of art. It implies something natural that can't be learned without a lifetime of perfection. So yeah it's more of a compliment to be called an artist than a master.
My favorite part about Regime is how he doesn’t smoke when he’s with mob. I mean it’s probably also just to keep his office from smelling, but I believe he's never smoked near mob. And while I'm not certain why that kind of detail softened the regime's character for me. - Edited for grammar, I hope
