My primary desire is for a silent ergonomic mouse. I mainly play story based games, and I've been avoiding competitive games for years, due to how angry I always got playing. It's not good for me, haha. Thank you for your video.
Damn bro, Thank you so much! I have a birthday a few days ago and wanted to buy this mouse. I'm not very rich, so tried to find best option for gaming and work, but info about pulling rate kinda was kinda scary. I tried to find some game testing of MX master, but this is only valid video i found. As non competitive gamer that spend like 10-20 hours per month in FPS games i think now i can buy it without hesitation
Thanks for the great video. I want to add this. When playing on a 60-75Hz monitor, there is usually no significant benefit from mice with a refresh rate above 125Hz. Since your monitor can only display a new frame 75 times per second, you won't experience much improvement from a mouse with a refresh rate higher than that. So, for games on a monitor with a refresh rate of 60-75 Hz, you should not worry too much about the refresh rate of the mouse. A mouse with a refresh rate of 125 Hz will usually be sufficient for this type of monitor.
I still wonder why no gaming brand design a ergonomic mouse for gaming. Playing with standard gaming mouse is jarring and cause long term pain after a long game. Having a light ergomic mouse dedicated for gaming help reduce this issue.
There are some ergo gaming mice but maybe not as comfortable like this one. The Razer Deathadder V3, Logitech G502X, Logitech G703 or Pulsar Xlite V2 are ergo gaming mice with a comfortable shape but still enjoyable for competitive games. 🙂
I do find it really annoying that nobody can make a professional-looking gaming mouse. Even the most high-end “gaming” mouse will either look really tacky, or incredibly boring
You also have the new Logitech G502X which is a good heavy mouse for gaming with a good shape. If you prefer a more productivity oriented mouse, the Razer Pro Click is also a good alternative. It has lower input lag compare to the MX Master 3. The MX Master 3 remains the best regrading productivity. So, they are all type of mice for everybody 🙂
Very nice video! I also grabbed a mx3 with the same exact idea as your conclusion : use it for work and switch to gaming mouse when playing fps games. I won't lie, I feel bad buying an expensive mouse knowing it performs way worse than my cheap g305 but I hope the ergonomics will help with wrist pain. Again, congrats on the nice videos, hope to see more from you
meh ive played on lower polling rates, my first mice costed 5 bucks and im pretty sure had even less than 125hz because any fast flicking movements would cause it to essentially cease functioning and stop the cursor from moving at all. I have logitech MX 3 business edition and I can feel the input lagg in it. I'm playing high rank league of legends and its not even suitable for that, I had to buy new mouse inorder to have chance in my elo. I don't recommend this mouse anything else than single player games, where you don't need fast mouse movement. You will "missclick" a lot of things with this mouse if you are trying to be very fast with it and any competive game online requires pretty fast fps/mouse/keyboard setup nowadays.
Yeah, completely agree. The MX Master 3 is a good mouse for productivity and for some casual solo games. For competitive multiplayer games, you should get a gaming mouse. Some gaming mice are way cheaper than the mx master.

@@OlicheckGamingTech a mix of both, I’m writing a lot, playing games and using Blender for hours. Hence, having to repeat the drag move, double click or the selection makes my hand and wrist hurts on a long session. Omron switches are definitely garbage. Thank you, I definitely need a durable mouse. I’ll check brands you mentioned. I’d like to know if the double click issue is a common thing on other brand’s mice or is it really Logitech ?
@@hainevidia8753 I see... Double clicking issue is unfortunately something common with mechanical switches. They have a lifespan of around 50-70 Million clicks and started having double clicking sometime before so that you have to adjust higher the debounce time. Optical switches have a longer lifespan of around 100 million clicks. They may feel a bit harder though. Vaxee are solid mice for both gaming and productivity but maybe their switches are not what you are looking for if you don’t like omron. I hope this will also help you. 🙂
How about, ask, could I use a Logitech MX vertical mouse, because in my country there are only two brands of gaming mice, Logitech and Razer, none of which fit my hand since it is an EMDIA size, and only some ergonomic ones but of poor quality I would like to know if with the logitech mx vertical mouse I could play and multitask, shooter and mmorpg games
In theory, you can use every mouse! But just keep in mind that some mice are not suitable for gaming and/or for some type of games. In the case of the logi vertical mouse. It might be good for productivity and also ok for some slower strategy or rpg games. But probably not good for faster fps games with high refresh rates. I recently got a Logitech MX Mechanical keyboard and i'm searching for a fitting mouse ... i'm wondering if the MX Master 3S is any better. As both bring a bolt USB dongle or can be connected via bluetooth and switch between up to three computers i'd like to use it in home office to switch between my work laptop and my gaming rig without always unplugging keyboard and mouse. I have a Logitech G502 with cable right now as the mouse for my gaming rig. I'm not into competitive games but i enjoy Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer quite a lot .... so i wonder if i should risk it. Do you think the MX Master 3S with it 8000 dpi is any metter then the MX Master 3 with it's 4000 and the 3S uses the new "bolt" dongle ... might that reduce input lag? Or is it down to the heavy weight which causes issues?
First congratulation for the MX Mech keyboard. It's a great keyboard. Regarding the MX Master 3 and the 3s, there are only 2 differences and that is the DPI as you wrote from 4000 upgrade to 8000 DPI and the noise of the click. The 3S has no click noise. The Bolt dongle which also come with your MX Mech Keyboard allow you to connect multiple device with one dongle. This can reduce a little bit the input lag because it has less interferences with others devices. For wireless gaming mouse each brands use a special dongle to reduce latency. For example, Logitech has the Lightspeed Technology. For productivity mouse you don't have it. So, you will still feel a delay. The DPI should not be a criteria unless you have a 8K monitor and work with High 3D Graphic model or Photos which required high precision. If you don't play competitive games, whatever you choose you will not make a mistake. Right now the Master 3 is cheap because the 3S is new. So you can go for the Master 3 but if you have the money go for the 3S. I hope I could help? 😀
@@OlicheckGamingTech Thanks ... i will keep that in mind. I might be able to test the MX Master 3 as a working collegue uses one in office i think but i have to check that.

@@OlicheckGamingTech The main factor influencing flexibility is not the tilt angle, is it? Currently, there are three types of mice: vertical mice with a tilt of 70°.including the MX series, G502 series, and Basilisk series, which all have an inclination of approximately 25°-35°. The MX 3S seems to have a tilt of 35°, while more are those mice with 0° tilt, parallel to the mouse pad. It appears that the most flexible are the mice with 0° tilt. However, these are also the least ergonomic for wrist health.
@@bogodoyandex9654 Interesting! I think, it depends if you are a wrist aimer or arm aimer. In a normal usage (productivity) most people use their wrist to move the mouse. So having it more tilt helps your wrist and feels more comfortable. In FPS games where you move fast, most people use their whole forearm to move fast their mouse.
