Nero can use Vergil's Summoned Sword for protection

Parrying with Overture's Break Age makes the Summoned Sword stationary for a moment, allowing it to block a subsequent Summoned Sword.

What I find funny is he would summon Yamato from his arm whenever he'd do showdown in Dmc 4
Now he summons a fake yamato out of pure energy when doing showdown.
Vergil pulls out Yamato from his arm in SDT and made a replica of force edge out of pure energy.
They truly are alike.

My usual strategy is to dodge or reflect the swords with Gerbera. I suppose everyone already knows this by now, but Payline is generally a good option when Vergil summons Blistering Blades too.

Basically he parried the sword with Overture’s Breakage Move. Using Overture’s breakage on an enemy freezes their movement for a couple of seconds before Nero kicks them away. Overture froze the sword in place before it can launch back to Vergil. Cool stuff.
