I'm glad they changed the octinoxate to something else! I loved the last 2 matte formulas as well. But the last one had octinoxate as the sunscreen, which hurts my skin and makes me breakout. I loved the formula so much, I wore it anyway, but not often. Thanks for the comparisons!
I’m always late to the game but…I only just purchased the FOREVER SKIN GLOW. I’m glad I saw this video because I thought it was a little to glowy. I like it more after the setting powder.

It would be great to see a clip or photo in natural light in future wear test videos. The check ins look like you have been in a sauna but that may just be the studio lights!
Did you notice if after you've eaten the hotpot or after having dabbed your face with tissues, did you get transfer? Your makeup still looks fantastic after all of that, I just wanted to know how icky feeling this would be like in a hot, humid country like mine.
Would you put the Dior backstage in the same category or is more of a tint like foundation? I’ve been interested in the matte one but also would like a more everyday foundation. Seems very nice.
I wear the backstage as a tinted moisturizer, it’s more of a natural matte. But it’s not very long wearing. U can maybe build it up to a medium coverage, but it is a lovely one.
Although I have tons of make up, I do not buy a foundation until I finish the one I have. I finished the old Dior Forever, I loved it, now I am using the Guerlain. When it’s finished will maybe go for that one of Dior :)

I was in love with Dior forever foundation. The foundation is reformulated twice in 2 years. I speculate that the economic structural bottleneck forced the companies to find another way. Many sectors are facing problems in securing the raw material. Jockey is another brand which hasn’t been under production since COViD.

It's nice that the ingredient list has some skin friendly additions, however, the term "Clean" doesn't actually mean anything! This is because there's no legislation to determine WHAT is "clean" and the amounts needed to it/them to be of use to the skin. For any ingredients (in a product like a foundation) to reach the skins surface , would be extremely difficult, especially if the user is wearing moisturiser/sunscreen and a primer. Personally, I'll stick with my existing Dior foundations - if they perform and look the same, why buy more? I own the idk glow formulation and decided to just pick up the matte one. Which I’m surprised you prefer from the glowy since you have dry skin. So I’m extra excited now 😊

Thanks for the review ! I use to only wear Dior & bare minerals foundation then just stopped & started using & testing other foundations that were at least better for my skin. But I really like Dior foundations the best to be honest & now that they are clean more reason to get this plus it’s Dewey my favorite type of make-up for face . I had the lightest shade in the matte formulation before the new one, it used to make me look literally orange. It was horrible. I hope they changed this
Dior Sauvage is the new manhoe cologne! I love it on my man and as the day goes it really melds well with his natural scent. A lot of men are wearing it right now including me 😂😂😂

Oh my goodness when I heard you bought 2.5 and I was like oh wait maybe I'm judging these wrong. I've never worn a Dior foundation. But all my higher end foundations I find the lighter ones extremely dark. So George can actually color match okay.. I almost want to get a winner shade especially cuz it's the more expensive if I get my summer shade I'm going to look funny wearing it during the winter. I swear I'm the most hypercolor person. My summer shade and my winter shade is extremely different. So that's out of the park. But I'm trying to guess a winter shade. And if you're 2.5 n. I'm just one step off of that. I can't believe how I can go from so dark to so light. I miss Florida. God I miss Florida. Come on universe put that in motion. I guess I have to cut the tether don't I. Reminder to self let go let go. That's the only way things can come back to you.
This foundation is awful! I paid so much money for it and the result is so bad. In the beginning my skin tolerated it well and after some time, it started breaking out. I wear it only twice a week for work and every time after that my whole face becomes terrible, breaking out and full of pimples. I do not recommend it to anyone with oily and acne prone skin. Full of chemicals product obviously.

Yes I loved the original that was in the squared off bottle. The one they reformulated was dry and oxidized like crazy. Need to try the new formula
