I don't know what version you buy in the Charlotte foundation but you're only talking about $8 dollars difference on Nord to get the Dior. I only mention this because you seemed to absolutely LOVE the Dior Matte the first day. Maybe $8 more for a foundation you loved every time you looked in the mirror is worth it? Why not be beautiful everyday? (Which you already are, by the way) You don't need a big social life to feel beautiful. :)
It's just me...I feel the same about luminous silk (though they don't make a good shade for me) both are very beautiful, but they feel like "special event" make-up to me - I understand what you're saying...it's like these are foundations that deserve and beautiful dress rather than jeans!

I really liked these foundations…until I saw the ingredient list. I sincerely wish these companies would stop adding chemical sunscreens to foundations. My sensitive skin can not handle chemical sunscreens. They cause itchiness and bumps. We can always add our own sunscreen that works for us but we can’t take it out of a foundation. Most of us are very selective about our SPF, it’s just not a one size fits all ingredient they can slap in there. I could also do without the multiple forms of aluminum. We do absorb things through our skin and aluminum has a well documented detrimental effect on brain health.
You looked beautiful preferred the matt one because I felt it wasn't completely matt it just had the right amount of dew to it and your hair is so lovely and thick your a lucky gal thank you for your review x x

The Dior products look beautiful on you! I’m somewhat concerned they changed the formula because I recently purchased the “old” glow version (I have very dry skin ) and absolutely love it…… Go figure…..

I just got the Glow. Maybe my expectations were too high, I’m not really loving it. I like foundations with a little glow, but the glow on this one just makes me look like I need powder. Too many touch ups necessary. I need to try it with different sunscreen and skin care, I guess, before I make my final decision.

I am over 60 and are like the more shiny appearance. Hate the dry feeling on my skin and shine for me is just more beneficial to the skin. The color is not a concern for watching the video I wanted to know about the appearance, which is what I am looking for.
Sorry, I don't know your first name. Mixing the 2 colours is a good idea. I think I am going to get 1.5. I am 2 in the Natural Nude, but 1 in the Skin Glow because it oxidises quite badly.

After I watched this video and few others, I bought a matt one. £48 down the drain. Horrible quality, ordinary average product. It doesn't apply evenly, I have to do a lot adjustments with my fingers, probably because gets dry quickly. It collects in the smiling lines around the mouth, after only few hours looks patchy and cakey all over the face. And of course skin breakouts after 1 day wearing. I follow the same routine as before, nothing changed : impeccable hygiene, face serum, moisturiser, sunscreen. I'll go back to my Lancome Tent Idole Long Wear. That one looks like velvet on my face. Just I wanted to have a change after using that one for 4-5 years now. Absolutely disappointed with this expensive but poor quality foundation.

What sunscreen do you use? I’m 46 with an oily TZone and I have the hardest time finding sunscreen that works well with foundation.

2N is your color it looks natural like you're not wearing anything but 1N looks rather ghostly in comparison, go with the 2N for sure.

I do use both, but I had a Halo Laser three months ago, so it's possible the affects of that are starting to show!

Omgoodnesss!!!! So much product on half of the face!!!! I would do 2 faces with that amount! Yikes!!! Especially on older skin, less is better 😮
