I am going through the same thing with a Kuhn GMD700. I had it all back together and remembered I had not put the shims in on the drive pulley side. DANG. So, today I will be doing what you just did in this video. Hate rework but if it is worth doing it is worth doing it right. Kudo's my man.

Hi Jay, sometimes the shaft comes out easy on a gear box and sometimes it doesn't. I'm glad it came out easy for you. Nice video, Pete

You are lucky as hell you did not ruin your gearbox with no oil, what kind of engine head you got laying on bench.
