in my experience the xbox one x has frozen after 3-15 minutes after launching the game. I have found no other solution to date so I want to share for those that might be experiencing the same predicament.
Does yours on gta 5 do stuff like lose texture and permanently freeze the game. And Suddenly will keep you from accessing in game phone,interaction menu, pause menu. You seem to have just what I’m having but on gta i will get 5hrs at maximum and at minimum 45mins of gaming before it freezes up. depending what I’m doing In game many very weird things will happen like suppressed guns shooting like the suppressor isn’t even there. Or the character when getting in a car will freeze in place while getting in the car. Just all around bizarre stuff.
I haven't experienced that issue exactly, I could play certain parts of the game just fine. Crossing the map would freeze the game most of the time. But playing races missions heists worked fine it was odd. When I deleted and reinstalled the game I had experienced even more crashing only 15 minutes until it would crash regardless of what I'd play sometimes faster than that.

I load into a public session then for 5 mins jus runnin doing whatever i crash and i get dashboarded sometimes i have to restart my console, i heard you have to clear persistent blu ray storage and alternate MAC address. Im downloading gta online again and ill let you know if i fixed it and ill tell you how i did it.
Only game that crashes a console for me is Borderlands 3, still to this day. Seems to happen when joining co-op. Maybe clearing the Persistent cache from Blu Ray might help. Good call.

I've tried allsorts lads. Removed it n redownloqded it tried turning off 4k allsorts. Been trying loads nothings working I'm trying to play it for free on gamepass. The online version

Shut it off, unplug, reset, blah blah...console will turn on but then there's just a blank screen of nothing. No sound, no nothing. HDMI cables are fine, tried that. I managed to get it working long enough to do a complete factory reset. Now I'm gonna try everything you did here, as I haven't seen this stuff mentioned anywhere else. Waiting to download my games again and try it out.
Disc or download? Assuming the installation is corrupted have you tried reinstalling? If it's a disc is it damaged in anyway? Has the xbox ever been dropped? Any clicking noise coming from the console at any point in time?
@@redfriends_gaming so I ended up taking mine to a repair shop where they wanted to replace the motherboard and or hard drive but we determined just upgrading was a better option. I went through every forum, video, and option available before this. I know for a fact that my console was dropped and abused I thought that might have a hand in it not sure.

Legend! My Xbox would crash with most games. I spent hours with tech support and all they could do is offer me a refund for purchased games. I did this and the games worked instantly!

same issue . it crashes in game and just freeze and the sound goes crazy frome speaker's , only thing i can do is to unplug it from the wall.

Ended up selling and getting a series X, and rebuilding my pc. Ultimately this fix was temporary or didn't work at all for people smh

I haven't been able to play GTA 5 on my Xbox one s for 2 years now. It keeps lagging & crashing.

Turn the xbox on by Holding power button and bluetooth button together and wait for the second xbox chime that signals the xbox is on

@@MyRuger it’s a download, Fallout 76 if that really makes a difference. Has not been dropped. And no noise is coming from it at all
