I feel like if you could figure out ball cam with like a Microsoft Kinect rig or maybe like a drone trained to follow behind the car at a certain distance you could take it to a whole new level of playability. This is so sick though man, looks like a ton of fun.
As of now, the drones can't track well enough. To my knowledge, anyway. I tried tracking with a DJI gimbal without success. As for a mount, it would just be something else that could break. Until the motion/object tracking gets more refined, I don't think it'll work. However, I am planning on setting up a head tracking set for my FPV goggles so the FPV camera could move wherever you move your head. It would be similar to how VR works in gaming.
