Great video, i have been taken my 2011 E350 to the dealership for the last 5 years until my B1 sevrice warning came up a few days ago, i called the dealership and they told me that B1 service starts at 1500$. i contacted my friend that has the same car and he advised me to change the oil myself like he normally does. i will go pick up the filter tomorrow from the delaership and the oil from wallmart or autozone. thanks the video is so helpul and makes everything looks easy. thank you very much.. using my wife account

@@Nissannx2000svg I have same car and m back up Camera does work, when i put it in R it doesnt even change from AUDIO. if it was the camera yeah it would change from audio or nav and show a blank screen indicating no image coming from the back camera innit?
To be clear, the Mercedes cabin filter is different. The OEM filter has slots for the guide pins as well as uses a different material to create a seal. The Mann filter has no provision for the guide pins and uses foam to create the seal. My experience is the non-OEM filters do not fit like the factory filters do. There is only about a $10 difference from a Mercedes filter and an aftermarket brand which is designed differently. Having said that ,generally Mann is a great go to brand for German filters.
Wow the cabin air filter came out easily on your W212. On the W204 it was an absolute pain. Similar design but less working room and there was an extra metal clip on the back of the cabin air filter housing. Couldn't even see it, had to feel for it by hand.
@@Nissannx2000svg Yeah I’ve had that happen to me as well. If it continues to shake or idle strangely when not in motion then swap out the coil packs and you will be running smoothly. Have you put a K and N filter yet that will have it up to par
my B1 service light is on, servive was done a year ago but i only put 3k miles since last service. i am about to park the car for about 7 months due to work commitment outside of the US. (i will have the car starts and move at least twice a month). Can i just ignore the service and change the oil when i get back?
Hi their! I have a 2011 E350 I just got my oil changed and I try resetting my indicator and it says it cannot confirm the full service would you by any chance know what’s wrong with it...?

MR2DSP We’ve had it for 4 years and it’s been very reliable. No engine or transmission problems the check engine light came on only once and it only needed new spark plugs. I’d go for it just have it inspected by a Mercedes dealership they charge about $150 for it and would go through it with a fine tooth comb but I’ll give it a strong thumbs up 👍🏽.
Wow...same filter quality but charging probably twice as much at least to have the MB logo on the sliding tab. Charging premium for a part that is covered up by the foot well panel. The only people more guilty than the dealer for charging that is the people who pay it!.......Thanks University of TH-cam...(UYT)

The old oil filter looks to be much better quality, you can see a metal mesh inside
Engine shake probably means you’re do for new coil packs and sparks my guy
It actually needed spark plugs. The check engine light came on a few weeks later and that was the issue
