I live on the Southern edge of the Peak Disrict National Park and can be in and amongst this truly awesome countryside within five minutes ride of leaving home. Yes I'm very lucky. 😁😁😁
Sooooo jealous Alan! A bikers playground on your back door step👍I posted a vid recently after a short ride out to Monyash. It reminded me of some of those great roads especially in good weather. I'll be returning soon 👍, thanks for your comments too, much appreciated, Daz
That was a great video, really appreciate the time and effort you have put in. Totally agree these roads are incredible. Looks like know where I am going on my ride out on New Years Day. All the best for 2022.
Arh that's really appreciative JC probably my first real compliment, so thank you very much! The Cat & Fiddle is a special road, I approached it from Buxton, couldn't believe how good it was & with the views as well. Have a great run out JC, what a way to bring in the new year!
Hey up daz, I’ll be aiming to do Peak District a few times this year. Only done cat and fiddle once and that was about 10 years ago. I’ll certainly be plotting your route mate.
Hi Craig, I'm heading to the lakes this year & will definitely go via the A537 Snake Road again. Peak district has so many great fantastic biking roads so enjoy it. (Is this a Craig Porter from my cohort??)
@@DazmatronMotorcycleTrips it certainly is son, loving the fact you’re posting on you tube. I hope the channel grows and that is a nice machine you’re riding. Hopefully meet up a for a ride in the summer?
@@craigporter337 arh thanks Craig, have got plenty of time right now so intend to get lots of riding in & yes the GS is a beaut' especially after getting back into riding! Have sent a friend request on FB would love a run out to the wonderful Peaks!
Hi Manson, I've been onto Google maps to try find the road, it was such a great ride out, I cannot be exactly certain I'm afraid but I think it was a turning off the A537 as I was heading towards Macclesfield. Sorry I can't be certain, hopefully someone else might recognise it. I'm going up there again soon if I spot that view I'll get back to you. Daz
If only the roads weren't blighted with average speed cameras! Really spoils the ride you can never get any separation from cars that seem to like driving close because they can! I won't be going back anytime soon, Welsh roads are much better.
Hi Moto, yeah I totally get where you are coming from, it has spoilt sections of it, I found though after branching off & riding some of the other roads that did not have average camera's, these were great fun! I hope to get some good riding in Wales at some point, potentially after the Lake District which is soon to be explored 👍
