I had the privilege of seeing Maroon 5 in concert years ago. Songs About Jane had just dropped a month or so earlier and they were really in the infancy of "stardom." The venue was a community college (of all places) in the Seattle area. It surely must've been a date that had been booked for a while... and as an up and coming band I think they were just happy to be playing anywhere. Even then they were super-polished and the sound was tight and unique.

I'm sorry, I just really like those albums. Of course I still love all of their albums because I'm a die hard maroon 5 fan but I just really like those albums. So so so so so so so much

this is totally how I love to see bands in small venues. seen nine inch nails go from opening for a band no one would know to filling a big stadium. smallers venues so much more intimate, I know they probably cant do this being so big so its nice to see this, this really shows off the bands talent without all the glitter
