thanks for bringing up the accessibility. I have forgotten to bring a cup to work and was able to run to target and grab Saalt off the shelf. I feel like saalt is even becoming more accessible than Diva with more sizes and firmnesses.

No problem! Yes diva is limited on its options which is why it’s not one of my favorites, but it was at least one of the first in stores which is great!

idk if anyone is looking for a better sterilization method but i was looking at those period cup steaming machines and i just thought 30$ was too expensive for what it does, and i didnt like boiling my cup, so i got this baby bottle warmer/sterilizer machine for like 10-15$ and it works great for my cups. and if you're questioning if it properly sterilizes, remember its made for baby bottles so imagine the standards to declare that but also it gets super hot to the point where you have to becareful you dont burn your hand from the steam (i just let it cool off for a couple of minutes and im good).

I have a low cervix and I had a larger cup from a different brand (which was the smallest size from the company) and it was hard and even a bit painful sometimes, I got the saalt cup size small and it is byfar my favorite cup. I really suggest buying a cup from saalt because of how many sizes they have and the fact that they have soft and firmer versions Edit: I also love it because It doesn’t have many ridges on the outside

Hi Kelly? What happened to the Femmycycle cup? What did you consider a disadvantage compared to your favourite 5? When you reviewed it you did not find any negatives if I recall correctly? Did it work for you while doing sports for example? Thank you..I love watching your videos 🤗💗

I loved this video by the way! I'm sure you've thought of this.... But maybe do a "worst cups" video? Many of us in the cup community know that just because it didn't work for one person, doesn't mean it won't work for another. However, you have a unique perspective because you've tried so many. I used to be in pain because of my Lilly cup, and had you not pointed out your experience I may not have branched out to try others

    • @OzmaOfOzz
      @OzmaOfOzz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Judging by her videos so far, I don't think she'd do it because it wouldn't be ethical to bash certain cups that she found not so good. They might be good for someone else and having her say they are not good, could cause decent companies real losses.

I’ve hated the saalt cup, the grippies or lack there of, I have the worst time getting it out. I’ve been wanting to try kind cup for a while so I’ll be giving her a shot in the next cycle! My first was the Lena and I got lucky it worked so well the first time, it’s a tad too firm so I was glad to see they now offer it in a sensitive and I love that cup so much

Shordy Cups are about $16 on Amazon & they have this cool 😎 green colour for both small & large sizes. Using them with a water- based lubricant helps with insertion. The cup is pretty comfortable. I just trim the end so it won't scratch vaginal walls, but at least these cups are less than $30. Smoothing the trimmed end with a finger nail filer helps it stay smooth, only had to do it once. Hope this helps. Also period cups are awesome to use when ovulating, keeps undies from being sullied with vaginal discharge.

Thank you for this video, Kelli! I have been wondering when you might be making another one of these, and I am so glad you came out with it now. I just started training for a half marathon and have been looking for a good cup for strenuous exercise (I currently use Saalt or Sckoon, also because of your reviews) and I think I'll get the BFree cup! I need something that will stay in and not try to *leave the party* when I'm working out. 😅 Thanks for being awesome and up front about your views and opinions! I agree with your assessment of the Saalt brand's appearance versus reality, which makes me sad because I like their cups and the wash. However, I do agree that it's nice that they are more easily accessible than other kinds and people have more choice than Diva Cups now in places like Target.

My favorites right now are the medium LaliCup, the small DivaCup, and the small EvaCup. I’m trying the large Tieutcup right now, so hopefully it becomes one of my favorites too.
Others I’ve tried include: the small Lunette, small Saalt, large Saalt Soft, large and small Best Periodt, and the regular Kindcup, but none of them worked for me. (By worked, I mean they were either painful or difficult to remove, leaked all the time, or in Best Periodt’s case, literally restricted my ability to pee with it in at all.)

I'm trying to find a new cup. I have very heavy flows but now I also have a low cervix (but not a tight vagina). I tried the SuperJennie but it's way too soft. I like medium-firm to firm cups for better suction. I need a big capacity cup that is low-cervix friendly and also medium to firm. Any recommendations, ladies?
Pro-tip: when inserting, angle toward your tailbone, not straight up. When removing, don't try to "poop" the cup out but break the suction with your fingers, then remove easily.

So I started with salt cups been like 2-3 years I think now I personally love them the fit feel everything what would u recommend for a next ? I like the salt cups cuz I feel their dummy proof at least for me. I’m 38 had a baby he’s 20 lol 😂 but I’ve been looking at trying something else it’s just like well what if I don’t like it what if it doesn’t fit right I wish they had like trial programs or something. I have a somewhat tilted V and am on smaller side down there. And like I switched to cups because tampons always hurt and constantly got bacterial infections etc I absolutely love using a cup I couldn’t ever go back to tampons after using a cup. Thanks kelli for another great review collection video. Can’t wait for you to get back in the swing of reviews.

I started with the Saalt cup shortly after you had reviewed it before. It is nice but thought of trying the soft version. Watching this though I think I'm going to invest in the be free.

Hi, have you tried the Lali Cup? I want to buy it but I'm a bit indecisive and your reviews are always incredibly helpful to get more insight. I've also had the large venus cup recommended to me because I have quite a high cervix, but I'm worried that the diameter is so big that it will be uncomfortable and difficult to insert/remove. Any advice? I'm 21, never been pregnant :)

Ladies, if you have a fibroid in uterus or cervix, use a pea size amount of miconazale( Monistat) for daily use. I have a cervical fibroid & using the Miconazale ( Monistat) with the water based lubricant helps my period cup feel comfortable. Put a pea size amount on your pointer & middle finger & insert into vagina. Been doing the Monistat thing for 2 months & period cup wearing is heavenly👼🏻! I swear by this. Love 💖 my period cups🤗!

So my periods are unhealthily heavy. So I need a cup I can trust. was able to afford the June cup and really like it. I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on how young/old you would suggest as a starter age for these. I was always taught you didn't use tampons until sexually active and was scared to try them when I reached that point. Now, at 38, I am finally going to try one of these cups. I have 15yr old twins and they are totally fine with just pads but wanted to see what what age you thought this would be ok for when they are ready. I kmow I would have definitelyappreciatedtampons or cups way earlier and would have saved alot of embarssment and anxiety at period time. I know, silly question, but just wondering.

    • @MrsEguia90

I would say that it all comes down to how comfortable you feel and how comfortable your girls are and giving them to choice to decide as well what they feel would be best for them. As someone who got her period at a young age (12) my periods have always been extremely heavy and not only that but also with thick blood clots so any type of sneezing or coughing or even bending over could cause a clot to come out and it would get all over me 🤦🏻‍♀️ my mom never let me wore a tampon bc she would always say it would take away my virginity 🙄 so I was miserable!!! I didn’t start wearing them till after I got married and man are they a life changer. Now even though I switched to the cup , I felt way more comfortable doing my daily activities. I currently have an 11 year old daughter who’s period is heavy as well and she just started swimming lessons and asked me about tampons and I gave her the option to try them out as long as she was comfortable with them. So far all good. We might move to the cup later on if she wants to try it.

I have an IUD so my periods are really light and honestly pretty rare now so I’m really interested in your favorite period panties. I tried Evawear but they cut into me bad. I wasn’t fond of the type of elastic bands they had. I get overwhelmed with all the options, a favorites video of your top few and why would be really helpful.

I have tried several different brands of period panties and the brand Knix by far has the nicest, most comfortable and functional ones! The material they use feels amazing, they are super absorbent and offer different levels of absorbency, but best of all in my opinion is that they don’t leave horrible panty lines like all the others do!

I'm not a medical professional so I can't speak to them, but I feel like if this were true, there would be more studies and more doctors making people aware of this, it's not different than a tampon which also is leaching toxic chemicals at the same time.
