Good reminders. "Good business people take aggressive action during recessions", this reminds me of a bbc interview with li ka shing, richest man in hong kong, where he talks about aggressively using the money he made selling plastic items to the US to buy up shipping ports during the global trade recession, which ended up turning him from a millionaire to a billionaire.

Grant Cardone is allegedly in BIG FINANCIAL TROUBLE he just 10X:ed the problems for his employees and investors 🤦🏾‍♂️ He axed 44 people without notice and handed them notices telling them if they have any issues with this take it up with his lawyers after that ordeal he then releases a TH-cam video talking about how he wants to re employ them after the recession is over
My question is who in their right mind would wanna come back to an organization like that bearing in mind most of his employees probably have cash tied up in Cardone capital which they can’t get out of because of the 10 year no negotiation contract for accredited and unaccredited investors and he is still buying real estate , the guy must be over leveraged... that means he has a 1 Billion dollar debt to take care of when vacancies are happening from his properties that he probably never could predict and he claims that they are recession proof from what I have seen it’s middle class multi family apartments which means people lose jobs and move out to cheaper places 🤷🏾‍♂️a

My God, you spoke the truth. Bad things happen - we have to deal with it. If your business solution is to fire your employees in a pandemic - then you don't really need them which means your business sucks anyway. The purpose of employees is to be part of the system generating money. For the most part. That you fire them meant that they were not essential workers, you see them as replaceable. To be used to your convenience. How is that a good business? It was always going to be bad because the turnover was so high.

In the recession of early 1990's I wanted my parents to instead of selling their Nokia shares in the market exchange those to what I had in my account since it seemed so stupid to sell when everything had become fraction of their previous value. You know the general company making everything including rubber boots nearly bankrupt who bet that if they concentrated 100% on their electronics divisions mobile phone group and cut everything else off they would get up from the recession.
My parents said, no. They were trying to conserve money and de-risk what they had and get out of such things. While I wanted to have a bet that could make me more money than I could imagine and if I lost it wouldn't of mattered much anyway since that money would of sat in my account doing nothing. Both perspectives are right.
Now what kind of emotional roller coaster dotcom boom would of been for me if that had happened. I would of either sold too early to buy apartment when got to university and felt bad when stock sky rocketed to next hights or suffered from regret when the stock came down and I didn't buy the apartment. Either way I would of felt regret at some point in time and felt that I made wrong decision. This thought just gave me new perspective on stupidity of regret while writing this.

Handy men are not appliance repairmen that takes tons of training they are a dying breed, try finding one. Did you code your program early in the business? If someone wants to make software, but he doesn't have any money and no programmer friends around, what do you think of the attitude to learn programming until he has a partner(programmar) or hire a staff member?
I am building my own app while learning the program, which is very fun, but also very laborious and time consuming. I wonder if I am doing well right now. Would it be better to get a programmer partner?

I have to ask were you ever in the Military as you have that kind of mind set ? I can see though the many fakes on youtube easy and id never buy their courses etc but you Sir impress me beyond belief. Im really thinking your a vet as you always think very logically as well. Someone on here let me know if hes a vet or not as it will bug me :) .
