Agreed. Scottie is a top 50 player and was the best player at his position for a good chunk of his career. The year without Michael he was an MVP candidate.
All time SFs, he is top 10. Maybe top 5. Only recently was there any competition.

Replacing Scottie Pippen with Kenny smith was a dumb hypothetical. Pippen was a small forward, Smith was a point guard. The bulls didn't need a great point guard because they had MJ. Should have replaced Scottie Pippen (pick 5) with Reggie Miller (pick 11). Then we see how Scotty was replaceable. MJ + Miller would have been better than MJ + Pippen.

Basketball is a team sport, so saying that mj needed scotti pipen to win 6 championship rings is clearly obvious. Pipen isn't even top 10 all time in the goat rankings to be comparedto Michael Jordan. Mj was still the best player in the nba and was putting better stats in the 80s then in the 90s , just saying , lol 🙄🤦🏿‍♂️!

@@aaronmbaye6498 I remember watching the last 2 of those 6 finals. The Jazz with Malone and Stockton would have been champions if Pippen would not have been there. The bench of the Bulls was ridiculously short. There were games when MJ scored about half of the points. He was a crazy mix of heroic and selfish. But Pippen scored a healthy dose as well, and a lot of the assists to MJ came from Pippen. So MJ was GOAT personality but Pippen was definitely Top 10 team player (and Rodman let's not forget The Worm! 😀).

Scottie played along with a smile but im sure he was feeling a bit disrespected and probably somewhat agitated with the questions that never did really seem to make a point on why they were being asked.
