  • In this video, the founder of The Optimum Health Clinic, Alex Howard, delves into the importance of investigating the underlying cause of your symptoms to recover.
Alex explains that a diagnosis of ME/CFS is just a label for a set of symptoms. It tells us very little about what is really going on, which can be challenging, as it's like identifying a puzzle piece without having the full picture yet.

This is one of the best videos I have seen to describe and summarize this syndrome in a short concise way. Can’t wait to dig into more of this channel, it lines up exactly with and expands upon what my functional med program says. Thank you!

I'm surprised you are not talking about (chronic) infections here. Viral or bacterial infections are often the root cause. There would be no long covid without it. Glandular fever (EBV) e.g. is a very common cause for ME/CFS.

Okay. But I still believe M. E. has a primary cause. I lived in an aahram in the 80's. Six people (and they're the ones I know of) contracted it.
Also it is now known to be passed on via "shedding." Sometimes there are more than one person in a family who contract it.
And it doesn't just hit people with poor immune systems or disregulated nervous systems.
Sometimes athletes and other apparently "normal" people get it too.
By the way, my M. E. doctor also contracted it after a few years.
Okay, you can call it a list of symptoms. But just because the actual cause (bacteria/organism/virus or whatever) is yet unable to be detected - doesn't mean there is no ROOT cause for this disease.

I did the optimum health clinic, I started off okay, it made sense to me, I started to do more in life and then I crashed.
I feel bad about leaving a comment on TH-cam about it, but the therapist shut down on me and it was difficult to complain

So sorry to hear that. Gaslighting the patient is, as we know, all too common. Presumably the person had never experienced the disease themselves.
It's then oh so easy to think everyone should respond to the same to treatments - and have the same outcome.
The good thing is you may have found some aspects helpful and can apply them yourself if your own time and at your own pace.
      Wishing you well! ❤️

Please look into the medical medium. That’s the truth and he tells you how to heal it. Many many people have fully healed.

An interesting/useful podcast but I am having to listen in stages. There is background music that is interfering with the vocal presentation and under headphones (the way I can listen to podcasts) it's horribly distracting. The back-music is too musical in nature and so one's brain cannot help but center on the harmonic transpositions. It's how the brain works. It becomes nigh impossible to center on the narrative :(

That sure is a very good way to tread parasites. Preferably via IV.
There are still parasite treatments in the market also.
