Well in my tests 980 Ti performs 50~75 FPS while moving on high and 35~67 on very high, for me this game is playable most of time. The resolution improvement like AMD FRS and the IGTI unfortunately drops the FPS instead of increasing and I don't know why. Well I play on 1080p to get this results. Never tested on 720p.
At night I got 25~45 on high 😬 That's was troublesome.

I think it is down to the fact this game was originally developed to run on PS4 that old graphic cards like gtx 970 are faring well
It seems Spiderman Remastered has something going on that pulls it towards approx 60fps no matter what hardware it's on, within reason. At least it seems hardware makes much less of a difference than in most games. settings also seem to have fairly limited impact.
Yeah i have 3080t,r95900x and I'm struggling to get stable 60fps the next gen cpu will make it possible
@@eslamarida hopefully. Also this is a port, so more tweaking and patching is likely. Since the last two generations of consoles are AMD based I suspect amd gpu's might fair better in some respects, especially at the high end where they have much more ram. I've seen this tested on a 3060 and it ran fine mostly, but a few areas like central part do hurt performance. Probably best to set it on high (or medium if at 4k) and set an fps cap of 60. That can help smooth it out. Though if you're running RT you might want to drop the distance slider to 4 or 5 as well.
And people call itt good optimization..
@@MrGiHunt Well it does use full capability of hardware from 750 ti upto 3090. So it's well optimised. Just higher than 60 framerates are not their main target.
Conspiracy theory: What if they intentionally prevent it from going above 60fps to justify PS5. Spiderman's worst villian is Sony themselves they are Oscorp corporation.

The game is definitely CPU bound, tested an r3 3200g with my RTX 3060 and I barely get 60fps on medium with DLSS performance, no RT, swap that with my 10th gen i5 and the game runs on high with RT and Quality DLSS on at around 45-60 fps while swinging.
05:32 : oh yeah !! i've also lent a GTX970 from my "GPU library" to a friend of mine(originally i had lent him an RTX2060 , but i changed my mind ) about a year ago ,during the GPU crisis ,when the only new GPU that you could buy without paying a fortune was a ... GT1030 ( even the GT1030 started from 100 euro ) , lol .
he's extremely happy , he told me that whichever game his son "throws" at the GTX970 it can handle it (at a 1080p monitor) .

I have that laptop with this cpu previously I know how it is......now with a GTX 1650(laptop)...I am playing with very high with fsr 2.0, I get about 60-70 fps

@@bluciuswastaken very nice like playing gta v with 20 something experience at 720p then after switching I get about 80 fps average on max settings 1080p....you can buy the legion....that's the best in terms of GPU performance.....but you can have to upgrade the ram to 16gb to avoid any bottlenakes..

The Legendary GTX 970 delivers once again. Around 5 fps on average lower than the GTX 1060 6gb. With an overclock to 1500mhz you basically get 1060 performance, just like back in the days. And a stock GTX 980 probably delivers the same as a stock 1060. Locked 30 fps @ high settings get you a really smooth experience with Ps5 visuals without raytracing @ 30fps. Amazing.
Hey zWORMz , i just wanted to let you know that if you run the game on medium settings with high textures , you're still going to get those high preset reflections with some fps boost as well , try it in your next video . Also buddy i think you have been truly invested in Spiderman so please play Gta 5 sometime later cuz we miss Jack :(
I didn't know this worked! Long story short, building a new PC, so brough both the Spider-Man games in the Steam Winter Sale ready for the new build. For lolz, I tried it in the old PC but it didn't load because I didn't have DX12 installed (I was sure I tried to use it in the past and couldn't get it to work on my 970).
I've since ripped the 970 and data hard drive out my old PC and put it on my new one while I wait to get the last of the money for my new GPU. Got Windows 11 installed on the new build which must have had DX12 pre-installed because this time the game loaded! I've just played for 3 hours on max settings without a single massive drop in frames.
This 970 has done me well...
My graphics card at the moment :D (MSI Gaming version) Next Month I'll be Upgrade it to an RTX3070 (Gigabyte Vision Version) ! I'm so excited !

While testing Minecraft, use render chunks 64(setting, video, {you will find render chunks}), then it will use the full GPU.
I don't have a 970, but I scooped up a 1070 in March and just around a week ago I got a Best Buy card with $500 on it. Might wait around to see if there are any cheaper 3070's I can cop, then sell my 1070 🤙

I'm still using my 970 amazing card still runs cool since 2014 and always gets me a locked 60@1080 if i play around a bit with the settings usually just lower shadows to low/medium
BTW mine runs factory overclocked to 1.4Ghz

@@ThexXxXxOLOxXxXx Nah, I keep my old hardware just in case something happens to my current PC. I was able to use again my GTX 1080 on the interim when I had my RTX 3070 repaired. It's the same with my 970, if somehow the 1080 fails, I still have one backup.

I played in my 1060 and I was surprised that on 1440p medium settings I got like AVG 47 FPS didn’t seem right to me nor did it feel like it

Not sure what’s wrong with my PC, I have 2 GTX 970’s in SLI and an i7 4790k but yet I have to run it on medium settings to stay at 50-60 fps. Very high settings I only get about 30 fps. Anyone know why?

Yo Kryzzp where is the other resolutions testing? Sometimes a gpu pefroms way way better if you lower the game resolution too why you didn't test 900p 720p 600p 1440p+ and 4k XD on it :D. To me the gtx 970 is definently super playable even at 1440p medium high. And a replacement of the poor performance GT 1030 XD. I Think every GT card is just not that good overall even if Nvidia released a GT 2030 or something xD.

I think yeah! You could get a 60 or 80 fps experience in some areas. I think it would drop from 60 though. It's best to stay at 1080p Very High settings.

I am only getting 30-50 on medium 1080p on my gtx 970. Mostly in 30s. Is it because I have i5 3570 but the gpu utilization goes to about 99%.

@@umerrashid539 i just can't see a 4c4t cpu that hold not holding you back in really any modern title
maybe you have some settings turned out that improves visual performance (and thus gpu usage) so your gpu still maxes out at 100%, BUT nothing you do could improve fps beyond a certain point due to the cpu bottleneck
a i5-3570 is both dated in core count and single core performance
I've noticed that the game seems to have some weird issues where the GPU utilization appears to be 99% but you suddenly experience a drastic drop in framerates and the power consumption of the GPU drops.
I'd try reinstalling the drivers, if that doesn't work maybe try to remove them with something like ddu and see if the issue persists.
Had this happen with both my living room PC and my regular desktop after playing around with the settings for a bit.
I'm thinking to go with i59400f and GTX 1050ti can I do 1080p low-mid gaming?

If you can go for a gtx 1650Súper, that's the standard for 1080p low-mid gaming today
You could go with a RTX 2060 if you want more performance for a decent price,or you can go with a 1650 or 1650 Super. Enjoy your new PC man!
