@@amdwarrior i wouldn't say it looks like trash. it's free 2 play and a fast shooter. A lot of people can play it on their hardware, even if it's older. Turn down your expectations. XDefiant is very well optimized and that's important. Not how it looks.

Say what you like about the game... it looks "good" and is PERFECTLY optimised.
It's FREE and doe's CONSTANTLY advertise microtransacrions and shit.
And it's 30GB.

Avatar Frontiers of Pandora runs also pretty good but also a bit demanding on the GPUs because of the huge open world and vegetation & foliages..

@amdwarrior wtf you on about? All snowdrop games looked stunning at the time of their release. The division is 8 yo, and still looks fucking amazing, avatar is demanding, not unoptimized, just demanding and that is good. Ubisoft devs who use snowdrop are actually ambitious, unlike those guys who make 4 ac games with absolutely no graphical upgrade.

This game is quite well optimized. My 1650 can pump out 100 fps on 1080p low 85% resolution scale! It's very nice!

Energy efficient cards like 4060 would thrive if all developers actually optimised their games the way they used to. I mean we had the entirety of GTA 5 running on hardware from 2005, with 512MB VRAM
I haven't experienced stutter in the recent DX12 titles lately. In fact, now, DX11 and DX12 are like "profiles" for me. DX11 usually gives me higher FPS but less stable, and DX12 gves mo lower overall FPS but more consistent. That's what I noticed at least.

i have a 2060 it runs great i get like 140 150 high settings all low i get 200 to 240
Is there a reason he disables half of the cores on the CPU or is it just to save on wattage?

@@zWORMzGaming Will you do it with default blackbars or no-blackbars? Some commands needs to be added into the engine.ini file of Hellblade 2 in order to make it full aspect ratio with no blackbars and better visual clarity..

FYI..... Hellblade 2 on my Asus RTX 4060, i7 13650, 16GB ROG Strix laptop running at 1440p, DLSS Quality and FG with optimized settings (most settings high) gets an average of 85fps.... but really it can drop to high 60s and go up to over 100fps. So will be interesting to see how his rig performs.
I know this is just performance showcase clip, but some how i get hook by your skill and gameplay... is really good. Only downside to me is the old graphics style and the color, i really don't like it.. Very good vid by the way ~

Only medium and high presets should be used in games.
Low decreases visual quality too much without much increase in fps.
Ultra decreases fps too much without much increase in visual quality.
Except, you know, ultra doesn’t decrease fps to a noticeable level if you have a decent card.
low is amazing for esport games, ultra is amazing for story games. All other settings are for brokies

This game is pretty optimized but getting DLSS or FSR will make it amazing.
Runs better than cs2 , whit ultra settings whitout a single stutter that’s crazy to be honest .
Valve have destroyed csgo optimization, to the point that my laptop get soo much less fps than first time i buy it even though the device is not thermal throttling on that game.

Would love to also see low and medium settings because im guessing alot if not most people will play like that in a game like this.
I have locked fps on 170fps as my monitor is 1400p 170hz and I get this on low setting contant with gtx 970 which is 10 years old mate

How does DX11 perform?
Uhh high fps & stable frametimes + not a hell of VRAM consumption and okayish / good enough graphics?! This game looks pretty interesting!
Hopefully Ubisoft will release it on Steam at one day too.

if it runs so good on even an 1050ti on low settings hitting 60+ it doenst need fsr. maybe they will fsr/dlss however its so well optimized that it runs better than most fps games releasing in with fsr

I play at medium 1440p on my Rx 6650 xt and get 130-170 depending on the map as I've a 1440p 165hz monitor. No one will be playing this at max settings unless they have a bad monitor

6700 is weakest but has most vram which doesn't matter because you won't be playing games at ultra graphics 4k either way. I have the 6650xt and the 7600 is just a newer and slightly better version of it. 4060 can do better or worse than 7600 in some games but it's usually 20% more expensive but has better raytracing and it has DLSS

True, i believe this game can still look better with this kind of performance if they expert at making realistic art style just like graphics modder, if i being completely honest most unoptimized games dont look that much better than this but need 3 times gpu muscle
Imo i like the simplistic art style, not too high quality for it to be distracting, and the game is meant to be an Arena Fast Paced Shooter ofc the game will look a bit average. But I'm a performance guy so i don't really care that much about graphics if it runs well already.
