But because of budget, we can't have an XMen character, or show the inside" or something like that So Deadpool can afford to (pun intended) poke fun at its small budget size
Well Ryan Reynolds loves Deadpool, and himself had been in a comic film that didn't do its intended numbers, and wasn't very well liked by fans. When he decided to do Deadpool after that terrible version in Wolverine Origins, he wanted to do it right. He knew the character, and unlike Disney right now, learned from mistakes made in the past. That's great that she blaming the man since the CEO shouldn't let Disney fall so badly, but she failed to blame the women as well. Like the writers and director. I guess she like to point the problem at men while at the same time dismiss any accountability for women who failed as well.
Part Bries fault starting way back when promoting Captain Marvel with just being incredibly rude, cocky and unlikable during promotion. But yes Disney and Bob Iger should rightly take most of the blame. Disney has released flop and flop and flop under Igers control. And he’s thrown every other person under the bus, except himself to avoid taking the blame.
Iman actually does a good job. She was the only part of The Marvels that was enjoyable. She’s not wrong. She’s just a paid actress doing what’s asked of her. I will say this though. When she was doing the press interviews for the movie, she bought into the girl empowerment shtick a little too hard. These movies and shows are sucking because men are the major share of the fandom and we just aren’t interested in being fed that narrative. We want quality content that doesn’t cater to DEI and we certainly don’t care about social credit scores. If Disney doesn’t get their heads out of their asses, in about 20 years Disney will be a memory.
She's not wrong. If a film or series is bad and it's not due to the ACTING, it's not the fault of the ACTORS. It's not their job to write, direct, market, or produce. They just act and that's what they did.
She’s not wrong. Marvel was in charge, chose the director, cast, script, locations, reshoots, fit in the overarching marvel timeline that it actually doesn’t fit in in terms of when it was released in relation to other projects. Certainly wasn’t the consumer.
She should have known better to star in it. She should have done her research to find out that the characters in the movie are hated and for good reason
100% of the belongs to Disney. From choosing the projects to the writers to the casting to green lighting of garbage. Make everything lame says Disney.
What marketing? I was looking forward to The Marvels and I hardly saw anything in the official marketing. I know part of it was the lack of a press tour due to the strikes, but it was just a handful of trailers and some toys So yeah, Disney did fumble with advertising since the majority of online people were saying how doom and gloom it was before it even came out
However, you can definitely blame the actors when they piss off the core fans during press runs before the release of movies… not saying that about this movie specifically but you should all know what I’m talking about
Everyone is trying to find the one thing to blame. Have you considered that it is collectively everything the actresses and Disney and the writers are doing? It’s all just……awful.
Nobody wants these characters or movies. Kathleen Kennedy needs to be fired and just let Feige do what got the MCU where it was through endgame. So no it's not their fault the movie flopped it is Disney's fault but honestly these movies/shows should have never been made in the first place thus she would never have a platform to place blame on Disney.
Not to mention the release of The Marvels (There was no promotion of it due to The Writers\Actors strike, and rather than wait an extra year so the cast can do proper promotion of it, Disney released The Marvels 3 days after a deal was reached. Can we say “Stacked deck” boys and girls ? I knew you could.
She is not right. She blamed Bob Iger and it wasn't his fault. It was indeed Brie Larsons fault. Men are the biggest consumers of comic book movies and Brie Larson alienated them. Why should we as men go see and support movies that are not targeted at us, made for us and that our opinions and thought are not valid towards and we are bluntly told so.
@@sawtooth808you are wrong. Brie Larson did all the promotion that was necessary when alienating men with her comments on men especially white men. Why should we go support a movie/movies that one of the stars tell us aren't made for us? Idk about you but I don't like throwing my money at things not meant for me.
@@jordanpostle8641 The problem goes beyond that! Although you are right, the movie fail because it doesn’t have a story, doesn’t have a plot, is not interested. If it was only girls but with all those variables added, the movie probably would be great. She might have blame Bob Iger, because he is the head of Disney. The person in charge of all.
Remember, she is a Marvel fan first! Which is why she was the perfect casting for Kamala Khan. Regardless, of what the overall product is she was absolutely on point and true to the charachter. She understands the complaints that fans might be having of the shows and the movies.

And he’s thrown every other person under the bus, except himself to avoid taking the blame.
I liked the marvels and her show a lot. I also don’t get the Brie Larson hate.
If Disney doesn’t get their heads out of their asses, in about 20 years Disney will be a memory.
why would she blame herself, she didn't write, direct or produce it
She ain’t wrong the movie shouldn’t have been green lit and her acting was mid so they choose to hire her and make a movie.
It looks like almost every mcu actor blames Disney.Marvel is done the recasting will take more emoney and more searching for ppl
She did amazing. I actually enjoyed the movie. This movie was better than antman quantum whatever.
Disney needs to let the director actually do their job and stop messing with the movie. They messed everything up.
my message to marvel - go woke go broke
She is fired. Also Nia Dacosta, where did the money go?
She ain't saying anything. Everyone has a PR team nowadays.
I blame her and everyone involved in this movie and her series
She should have known better to star in it. She should have done her research to find out that the characters in the movie are hated and for good reason
I really liked The Marvels! ✨
She was the only one in the film that put forward any effort and the only part of the film i enjoyed was her performance
100% of the belongs to Disney. From choosing the projects to the writers to the casting to green lighting of garbage. Make everything lame says Disney.
What marketing? I was looking forward to The Marvels and I hardly saw anything in the official marketing. I know part of it was the lack of a press tour due to the strikes, but it was just a handful of trailers and some toys
So yeah, Disney did fumble with advertising since the majority of online people were saying how doom and gloom it was before it even came out
Surprised she isn't blaming the patriarchy
And she's correct
She was good. The movie was good. The timing was Baaaaaaaad
GET WOKE, GO BROKE
Well when you base on agenda vs storyline, than yes, in a business sense, you don’t clear profits 💯💯💯.
She is right! Her acting was on point. The plot, the writing and what Disney and the MCU has become is beyond her control. She did her part right!
I’ve heard she’s the highlight, didn’t mind her in the series.
Reminds me of my mate.
I remember when she responded to an article that had Kevin Feige claim the MCU was earth 616. She then did a list of all the reasons why that didn’t make sense, and I’m like “damn you really are the character lol”
@@JohnWilliams-wl9pxWhat do you mean claim? Him>Her.
616 doesn't have to be comics, it can be any earth destination in any media that is the MAIN timeline. She's an idiot 😂
And I imagine she hates it too, she’s a fan and doesn’t want to give the fans a bad film but it’s not her fault. I give great credit to actresses like this, they love the source itself and they don’t just insult the fans when things go wrong
At least she's not blaming the audience, and calling them demonizing names. Which is awfully mature for her in contrast to her contemporaries. Good on her!
Ya, you still don't trash your employers
She's no longer employed by them. And can tell the truth now if she wants.
@@jonnyglen9934so we’re no longer gonna have a “ms marvel” movie or tv show anymore??? That’s GREAT news 😉
@@trumptouchesivanka it is
@@kurtsudheim825 Why can't your criticize your employers? You simply use correct language like "The supporting staff and actors were great but the movie lacked exposure due to the company not pushing it enough though it did also have a plot that didn't really come together.".
she's right, why should an actor take blame for a movie with a poor script, directing issues, excessive budget, etc. I'm glad she's not taking it personally
She didn't blame anyone for anything she just said that the box office isn't her's to worry about. I don't know if he meant to do this, but he is putting words in her mouth
@@foamytomato9342yeah
not one person in that movie encouraged masses to go watch it.. Reminder audiences don't know if the acting is bad or good before the movie comes out.. they have to show up and pay to make that determination. No one cared to see it.. Everyone failed, the actors, the promoters, the studio, the director they all failed.. no one cared enough to show up.
@@samiam758seems like a problem with them not allocating their marketing budget
you could say the same about john krasinski
Iman was one of the best things to happen to Marvel, and they act like they don't know it.
Hell no. Iman isn’t a bad actor but definitely not one of the best things to happen to Marvel. Maybe for the younger audience, but the majority of Marvel’s fan base is young adults and older, and Ms. Marvel’s show was not what comic fans want. The best new character to come from marvel post endgame is Moon Knight. Well written story and great acting, and just what comic fans love
Her character is ass wtf are u talking about
in what way?
@@SPLKIRAshes the only actor that im aware of in the mcu that reads the source material and is an actual fan
