No degrees here, but I do have several certifications and over 38 years of experience as a 911 emergency dispatcher and over 17 years as a dispatcher supervisor. Congratulations on your test, I always try to lift other women up! Love seeing Milo and Murphy!
Yes, that’s me - I lived below the poverty line as well. I don’t have anything behind my name - but I do have a good job that I’m proud of, and we take care of what we need to and buy what we want. ❤
BSN, RN, RNC-NIC, MBA, COC which translates to NURSE, certified NICU RN with a Masters Degree in Business as well as a certification in Hospital/outpatient Coding. Becoming a nurse was a commitment for sure. Getting certified in NICU nursing was fun. Obtaining my MBA was a commitment I made with my husband. We went back to school for that degree together. The COC was the hardest test I have ever taken because it was like learning a foreign language which I only had 4 months to prepare for. I took it because it’s pertinent to the nursing role I am currently in. I’m done, no more. 😂
Congratulations Jen! I am an RN BSN. COS-C. AlsoHCS-D. Both which are home health certifications for documentation and diagnosis coding. I loved patient care in the home best. Met many wonderful people. I now work in quality and compliance. I am looking forward to retirement soon. Almost 40 years in home care. Thanks to all home care workers out there 😊
Ahhh! Fellow iowa and nurse here, so wonder I enjoy your content so much! My alphabet soup is PhD, RN-BC, certified in pediatrics. I currently work in graduate medical education, so I work primarily with resident physicians
Congrats Jen! 👏 I have BA History, BEd Teaching Primary, Dip Aromatherapy, Enrolled Nurse Certification, and others I can't think of right now. I'm 61 and never passed School Leaving Certification 😪, but as an adult I was out to prove I'm not dumb. We moved 22 times before I left home at 16yrs old, and went to 10 primary schools and 4 high schools. Shows we can be determined and do anything as women!
I just found your channel a few days ago and I have been binge watching your videos! So relaxing and love how long they are! Looking forward to this year's holiday videos!
I have a BS in Business, AA in Music and a MMus Musician Performance certification. I went to college on a full ride music scholarship. My main job these days in being Mom to my 5 and 7 year old kids, I do work part time from home to keep my plate balanced and happy, plus I volunteer at my kids school often. I enjoy and feel grateful that I have the best of both worlds, working and as a SAHM. Congratulations on passing Jen!
You're amazing!! You are such an amazing person! You might not realize that you are such an inspiration to so many people. You are loved, admired, and completely amazing!
Congratulations Jen!! Well deserved!! Cosmetology is my trade! No degree letters behind my name but I like to think, now that I am in my 60’s, that I am MATE (more awesome than ever!). Have an awesome week!!!!
Sadly no degrees here.. But, I am proud of finally putting myself first and competing high school in Dec of 2019. One year before my kid graduated.. Oh and I did Graduate with honors. 😊 edited to say.. Congratulations!
I only have a B.S. but I’ve had boocoos of extra training hours to go with my job. I’m happily retired now. And when you were in Memphis, you were just an hour away from me!
Congratulations! I so miss working, unfortunately cancer and the treatment took that away. Ironically I was an Oncology nurse, weekend package. I loved that job!
I don’t even have pets but I bought that exact machine to clean my carpets and it’s fantastic. I recommend it to everyone. We had got a couple of professional cleanings and I did a way better job doing it myself with this carpet cleaner. I had a red kool-aid stain that they said wouldn’t ever come out (they said it would just lighten) because red stains are permanent-this machine got rid of it and this was after several months of them trying to get it up. When I saw the machine I was happy for you lol. Great choice Adam! 👍🏽
I have a BS in Mass Communications, a Master of Library Science, a Master of Arts in Teaching (Early Childhood -4th grade), and a Master of Arts in Psychology, and I am in the dissertation phase of my Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis in Media Psychology and full-time working Mom of 2!! Your videos have helped me soooooo much over the past few years! Congrats on adding some more initials to your name
I have a BS in Exercise Physiology, an Associate in Nursing, and a Master’s in Business. My certifications are RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and CVAHP (Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional). I work with clinically integrated supply chains to help them decrease costs, standardize patient care, and improve quality and outcomes.
I have a MA and PhD in communication studies but I also have a second masters, a MEd in instructional design. Here’s to full time working motherhood 😎 Also, I think you can use the Prosci certified icon with your signature for Adkar certification.
@@thatonefamilyMNI think it's a very versatile degree. I chose to do it because it gave me a stronger grounding in creating resources for students. In my current role I use it less directly than my previous but I think having a strong grounding in the process of creating instructional materials is really useful.
I had an attached garage and went to Menards in my slippers! Lol Luckily I had my motorcycle boots in the back of my car! Lol I love seeing you around where I live. Maybe someday I’ll run into you! 😊
I am a certified Health Coach and personal fitness trainer. I am also a chef. I have various other certifications but these 3 are the ones that I use. You were VERY productive this weekend! I definitely need to have a weekend like this to catch up after moving. As always great video!
I have no idea what abbreviations to use, but I've studied 7 years to become a teacher at a senior high school (16-19 year olds + grown ups) in English, Norwegian, Social Science, French, Drama. 💚💚💚
B. A. M.A. B.S.T. AND many hours of continuing education.😊 the best part 🤷🏼♀️ I had the perfect job for me. Teaching children. They enriched my life so much! Thank you for another great video. 💕
Congratulations on adding new letters after your name! I completed my Bachelor's in September in Early Childhood Education at the age of 53! It is never too late! I will be working toward my Masters in Library Science in 2023!
OMG! I still have trouble letting myself in! I had to laugh at the smile on Murph's face as he followed his new BFF Milo; his partner in crime lol.❤️ Congrats Jen! You should be proud of yourself. You are a smart girl. Enjoy the ride!
Yay you!! That’s fantastic. I’m the medical staff director at a hospital and work with lots of amazing women like you who are always reaching for more.
So great to hear your accomplishments especially remembering what you once shared about embarking on education with limited support growing up. Really amazing Jen!!. I work long hours in retail and would like to think l am a professor of patience and optimism!lol.
Congratulations on passing your test! I'm in medical imaging and my credentials are B.S.R.T(R) and R.V.T. I've done everything from general xrays, to CT's to general ultrasound and now vascular ultrasound. Love seeing women (well anyone) furthering their education!
Yay! I have my associates along with CPC (certified professional coder), CCS (certified coding specialist) and would love to get an auditing credential. I work with quite a few RN's in our CDI department at a healthcare facility.
Congrats on passing your exam! I "only" have 1 degree, a bachelor's in aerospace engineering. I have been a stay at home for 14 years now though, so it feels like a different person did that...
I have a BS in Computer Science and working towards a second in Cybersecurity Policy and Management. I have a Master's Certificate in Cybersecurity Fundamentals. Also, I hold certifications in CompTIA Security+, Cybersecurity Analyst+, Advanced Security Practitioner+, and GIAC Certified Forensics Examiner. No plans to stop growing, either! Congrats on passing :D
Congratulations on passing your test! That’s always a big deal. My certifications are LSW (licensed social worker) and MSW (masters of social work) my tests were about four hours and exhausting, the answers are always one or two possible answers but you have to answer what they think is correct which makes it difficult.
i also have the new Barefoot Contessa book. So far I have only made the Salmon Teriyaki. It was great. I bought it from Williams-Sonoma and part of the deal was a virtual event with Ina. I am so excited. Can't wait. I also have all of her books. The one I have cooked from the most is the first one but I also love Make Ahead and the last book a lot. She told me at a book signing that she and her staff make each dish at least 25x each to make sure that the recipe is perfect everytime.
I became a barber 40 years ago. I also have a cosmetology license nails license and a teacher certificate and have owned my own businesses for the last 40 years. Don't have any letters but a lot of degrees. This now sold my last business In getting ready to retire Yay
I never went to college, but I got a very rewarding job working with high school students who are at risk, kids who have a learning disability and students who have a developmental disabilities from school to work. After 19 years working at our local high school, I retired. I'm a firm believer that you don't necessarily need a degree to be successful!
This is so fun! I have a BS (literally… LOL) in Psychology and started graduate school for a PhD in behavioral psychology. I dropped out my second semester when I found out I had to inject narcotics into monkeys and run behavioral research on them. I have my BSN, MSN, APCN I know you are gonna rock that test. Fun fact… CPHQ is on my bucket list. ❤️
Omg Jenn I’m right there with you!!!! You work so hard why not get the stuff you want. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉I grew up very poor on welfare and fortunately I’m successful now so I can do the same.
Hahah Milo was down for some peaches too. Omg I love that he knows how to let himself in! Murphy is probably just happy as can be about that. My aussiedoodle is the biggest dog I've had and last year was so hard when she was a puppy and would counter surf. I had to move my butter, put things in the microwave when I left the room, etc. Thankfully she doesn't do it anymore 🙌
The letters behind my name are BMrSc MRT(R) CIR (bachelor of medical radiation science, medical radiation technologist-radiography, certificate in interventional radiology). And Milo is such a smart dog to let himself in!
I only have the MBA (Masters of Business Administration). I sat for the PMP but didn't really study- whoops. Didn't pass that one. Someday I might go take a prep course for that and actually pass.
No degrees here, but I do have several certifications and over 38 years of experience as a 911 emergency dispatcher and over 17 years as a dispatcher supervisor. Congratulations on your test, I always try to lift other women up!
