I have used Lume and like it. The wipes are great for in the go. I appreciate they are not tested on animals. Nothing better than a BLT and fresh corn. You can take corn right in the husk and cook it in the microwave. When it finishes cooking in about 6 minutes depending upon the number of years and the size of them, cut off the base and and the corn will shoot out the open end without any silks attached. If you already have your corn out of the husk, place them in a baking dish with about a half an inch or so of water in the bottom. Cover with plastic wrap and vent a corner. Cook them for five to six minutes in the microwave again depending upon how many ears you have and how large they are. It's also a great way to cook asparagus quickly. Use the same procedure as with the corn. Place them in a shallow baking dish with about a half inch of water and then cover with plastic wrap venting a corner. Asparagus cooking time varies based upon how big around the Spears are. If you have very thin spears of asparagus, start with 3 minutes and add a 15 to 30 seconds each time until they reach the desired doneness.

On Sunday I made chicken pot pie (the soup version) with homemade noodles and cut some of my massive chicken breasts into the tender size shapes and breaded them and bake them off so I started the week with two meals available when anybody was hungry. My boys are 19 and 22 and you never know when they’re gonna be hungry. 😊love your videos.
I've been on a low starch kick the past week or so because I overdid bread and pasta and rice at the start of fall and keeping it simple with proteins and veggies was just sounding good, but that spaghetti looks incredibly delicious, totally gonna make that for the family this week 🍝❤

I have been baking my bacon for many years. These days i put 8 slices in my air fryer, set it for 400 degrees for 10 minutes, flipping halfway. Perfection.
I also make dog food but I use brown rice, not white. The vet said to use brown so I do. I put either ground beef, chicken thighs or stew meat into the instant pot with some carrots, some sweet potato (with the skin), and either green beans or peas and then I add some apple and blueberry. I cook them for 15 minutes on the meat setting, or the default on the poultry setting or high pressure and then I put 4 cups worth in the food processor and I pulse it a few times. I give the dogs 2 cups each at night and I put their meds in it. I also sprinkle on some homemade seasoning (herbs - rosemary and/or basil and some nutritional yeast) and mix it in. They go bonkers for it They never ate pre-packaged food like they do this. The vet told me what meats and veg to give them. I will check out that website for the nutritional sprinkle. I've been trying to find one that they will like. They are super-picky.

We are having zuppa Toscana this week. So good! Fish gets really crispy in the air fryer if yours is big enough for your whole batch.
We don't really like ricotta in our house all that much, so anytime I make lasanga I always just use mozzarella cheese and it comes out wonderful! I haven't tried it with cottage cheese though and definitely wouldn't be opposed!
Chicken wraps with the Aldi Red bag chicken have me in a chokehold this week! I been doing them with seasoned Mayonnaise (Mayonnaise, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion power, badia complete, dill weed) and Havarti cheese. I've literally had it for dinner 3x in a week!
I have tried to get that chicken and my Aldi is always out!

I have that fish in my freezer lol. Tonight we are having chili dogs over rice. Tomorrow pulled pork sandwiches, also on the menu beef stir fry with veggies over rice. I’m tired.
When you were making the pork schnitzel I thought you were grating a potato. Thank goodness you said lemon or I would of been confused all day. Everything looks good and I makes me want to get a hello fresh box again.

How do u store Iceberg? I have a pretty small fridge (College Student) and it takes me a few days to use it up, I always end up throwing it away or not buying Lettuce, because it goes bad pretty fast. Here in Europe, it's pretty hard to find pre-shredded items and if we have them those r way too expensive, for people on a budget. Here in Germany, we eat bread a lot, and you mostly get in a Bakery, so most Families shave a ''Bread-Slicing Machine'' at home u can slice cold cuts with it as well.
No Lasagna Love in my area. I have been trying to come me with freezer meals ideas to share food for people I know who recovering from surgery or elderly couples. I’d love ideas to make for their freezers when they need some easy meals.
Try a local church or an area office in aging for a list of elderly folks who might need help. Or ask your friends if they know if anyone. You can also check with your local neighborhood association or a school to see if they know a families who may be in need who could use some meals for over the weekend when no school breakfast and lunch is available or finally check on next door as well. I know in my area sometimes people will reach out saying that they're between jobs and are short on food for a couple of weeks until they get that first full paycheck. Just some options. Bless you for wanting to reach out and help those who may need it.

I loved it when had coupon codes and it was great when I was avoidng the stores during covid, but find I can find better clearance produce at my kroger. If you don't have a store where you can get good deals though, it's a great option, and they introduced me to some fun veggies!

I wanted to ask you about something totally different if that’s ok? I really want to order a new air fryer. I have just an older smaller model, but the coating is coming off!
I wanted to ask you, I can’t remember which one you have, I really want the Nija Foodi XL that can be used open or closed. I like that it has a heating element at the top and bottom! I am on the fence as have to issues, space, as I have a home with an apartment sz kitchen from 1953, so counter space, we’ll forget it, and the other question is the noise that it makes!!!!! I have a feeling it will make me crazy. I have an extra microwave table I could set it on in my dining room but I’m just not sure. Also I will say I made some baby back ribs in my instapot yesterday with apple juice at the bottom, cooked at hi press for 22 min.
They came out perfect, then I stuck them in my air fryer with bbq sauce on the and they crisped up so very nice! I used the bbq sauce for my daughter from Chik fila and she loved them!

Do you find a difference in your lettuces getting brown cut vs torn?
The browning is a reaction to the metal in the knife. If you prefer them to not brown as quickly, it’s better to tear them.
