      1Gbps= 125 MBPS only
      1Gbps*8= 1GBPS
      If letter (b) is in small letter then it is bits if letter (B) is in capital letter it means Byte.
      1BYTE= 8bits
      It means 8b=1B.
      All the Mobile data limit(2 GB jio), Storage size(128 GB) and Movie(1.4 GB)....all the downloadable file size is in Bytes....
      Only your internet speed representation is mostly shown in Bits like 1Gbps to show large numbers.... actually its 125 MBPS....
      Hope all of you will get this information.....🎉🎉🎉🎉

  • @akshaysrivastavaofficial
    @akshaysrivastavaofficial ปีที่แล้ว +41

    Most website servers use connection bandwidth of 100Mbps to 100Gbps or even higher if there is too much traffic on the server. And say, if there are other 100 users downloading the same file to a website, which ideally has the bandwidth connection of 100 Mbps outgoing, each user will get 1 Mbps. To adjust the bandwidth, many companies limit the bandwidth per user to manage more traffic within the limited bandwidth. So if they limit 1 Mbps for a connection w.r.t. to the total of 100Mbps, there will be maximum of 100 users. If it is .5Mbps, there will be 200 users. If it is .25Mbps, there will be 400 users and so on. 🙂 Even though you have the capacity to download 5 Gigabits a second, the server doesn't have such luxury. 🙂 ♥️🇮🇳

    • @2yearskid
      @2yearskid หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Bruh if bandwidth of company is 100 mbps then if divide per user by 5 it is 20 not 200 and for 25 it is 4 not 400 , you didn't mentioned that company is increasing their speed simultaneous

    Those sppeds could come handy only to some video editors when you need to upload files to the server and back. But with device limitation, we either need to change the wifi cards in laptop to get those set of speeds else change the device entirely itself!!

  • @susheel61
    @susheel61 14 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

    Even with a 5 Gbps connection (625 MB/s), your download speed is still limited by the server’s (website) upload speed. If the server can only upload at 200 Mbps, your fast connection won’t help-you’ll still download at 200 Mbps. It's like having a large water pipe, but if the source pipe is small, it will take just as long to fill. This won’t be an issue with platforms like Google Photos or other Google services, as their upload speeds are extremely high. Hope that clarifies things.

    The thing I noticed that your previous Ethernet adapter was a gigabit one , that’s why you didn’t get the 5gbps internet on the Mac . It’s not the Mac’s limitation it’s just the adapter’s. When you get the other one you got your answer.And the thing happened with the 10GB file download test is they don’t have the 5/10Gbps server connection that’s why you couldn’t download faster.If you can hookup with a 5/10gbps capable server for a test it can get you near the speed, again it depends on factors.

    My bro I think it's just better to stick to 1gbps, even that 12 gb file would take only around 1.6 mins to upload on a 1gbps connection. 5gbps speed may sound like a dream but most of the servers aren't compatible with it yet neither are the hardware. Most servers bottleneck after 1gbps speed so having a 5gbps connection won't even help that becomes even lower when you try to download from a third party site.

    5 Gig is what you're referring too, hence the confusion in your comments. 5G is a radio technology running off the 5GHz microwave frequency range

    You are not getting full 5gbps because it's also depends on server that how fast server is and how many peers are connected with that server

    Well in Kerala, jio 5g cellular is giving 740 mbps inside home, about 900 to 1 gbps outside. Mind boggling, that 20 yrs ago my wired connection speed was 256 kbps now its close to 1 gbps thru a phone.

    HDSPA not is 4G es just Enhanced 3G. 4G is LTE/LTE+ and HDSPA is 42.2 mbps and for speedtest you need use CLI or app, browsers reduces precision.

    and you are not correct about 3-5G waves the 5G here in europe uses 700Mhz low band , 2.5ghz or 3.5ghz for mid band and 24-48ghz for mmwave but 4g uses 450-1500mhz low band 1700-2600 mid band and 3500-5900Mhz (C-Band and Licence assisted Access) Think of as a mmWave for 4G+ 3G uses 900 and 1800 or 2100Mhz 4G bands are 700,800,900,1800,2100,2300,2600 TDD and 2600 normal bands also in america they deploy C-Band 3500 and License Assisted Access 5100-5900Mhz for Capacity Layer to Bring More SPEED!

    Ummm, wifi is slow primarily because of interference, not latency. You are probably using 5GHz band which does not penetrate through the wall and other 5GHz n/w around your house causes interference, slowing down the speed.
