All the Gibb brothers have their own beautiful voice. This time came our younger twins Maurice's voice.Actually I love Barry and Maurice 's falsetto respectively..😊❤ .
This song is a good example of a new direction the Bee Gee music was going in. The song is just incredible. Consider their age they were timeless. The Bee Gees were Timeless.
Maurice 2as so magical , he sure had so much soul ,he loved music but in some ways he never git the chance to sing lead much , he could shake his body like no other , he was a sweet beautiful sexy man !his voice was amazing !
Love it when Mo gets to shine! Great song. As I dig through the Bee Gees gold mine of songs, I have discovered a lot of gold nuggets that were kept in the dark and didn't get to shine like the treasures they are! Like in the gold rush days, except I have BEE GEE FEVER! 😅😍😅💖🥰 Fan Forever !!
I agree with you. I love seeing Maurice show his brilliance in the foreground, as it should have been many, many more times. Beautiful voice , clear , sweet just like him . Maurice was light and beauty always, from the beginning.
"House of Shame" is on 1989's album "One." I have been playing it a lot in the last two or three weeks on various trips out of town. This performance is from the "One for All" tour. A DVD was made of the performance in Melbourne. If you watch the whole concert, you will see Mo trying to crack up his brothers when they are singing "Holiday." They expected it as part of the act,, but this time he went and got one of the video cameras and got right in their face with it. All three are in their finest most powerful voices. You can tell this is Mo's song. He liked anything technological and new, like sampling on drum machines. His brothers called him "Gadgets Man." Barry said anything new that came out, Mo had it yesterday. I just love this. I have heard Mo say in interviews at various times they "wanted to rock a bit more." I'd say that is what this is. The keyboardist should be Peter Vettese. Thanks Chad, I have woke up now. Seeing the brothers at their best and, bonus, getting to hear Mo as lead.
It's amazing how Maurice hypnotized with his voice and movements, those jeans that looked fucking sexy on him, watching him sing was a delight for the women, tremendous angles of his ass we can see in that performance. I'm so in love with him❤❤❤❤
Such a special moment when Mo stood in the middle. He loved it soooo much. Many of their lyrics had double meanings, a little suggestive, but never over the top. Brilliant!
Do you know what they're referring to when saying "house of shame"? I looked up the definition and saw it means "house of prostitution". Is that really it?
Mo and Barry on lead😍😍❤️, another one with them both for your list:- above and beyond. Maurice just enjoying himself. He was such a happy guy. Versatile bee gees - 'midas touch'.
Chad, what a great reaction to our second song of the weekend! It's great seeing Mo taking the lead with his wonderful voice and, yes, this is the same concert that you reacted to Robin singing "I Started a Joke" and "Massachusetts", the 1989 Melbourne concert. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us for the rest of the weekend! I'll be sitting right here waiting patiently, I promise!
They were all dressed pretty nicely 😉 but the camera guys took a lot of good angles on the video for ladies to admire, lol. No one could complain, well accept a few husbands, lol.
@@cindyknudson2715 Yes, so I bought the album 'Two Years On' in the moment it was in store. Also saw on YT the live-version, which is phantastic. Fan of them since 1967, as a 13 yrs old boy. Lovin' good music at all, for instance 'Doors', 'Crosby Stills Nash & Young', 'The Who', 'The Walker Brothers', 'The Kinks' or 'Cat Stevens' (later named 'Yusuf Islam'), but especially Bee Gees. Why? Because of their wide, wide range and their ability to awake emotions all of the sudden. Came over me like thunder and lightning and it's really such a big pleasure for me, realising more and more that their music can stand the test of time and I'll tellya, it'll last as long as human beings will exist.
@@cindyknudson2715 For sure, I have almost all of their studio albuns in vinyl (lacking only 2 first australian lp's, saturday night fever, still waters and this is where I came in, last 2 ones due to being only available in cd). Plenty of wonderful "unknown" material by them!
Hi Chad! Nice to see Maurice getting the spotlight for a change. I'm new hopping on the Bee Gees train but recently discovered two gems where Robin's voice was just marvelous and his vulnerability is in full display: I Still Love You, Gone with the Wind. Have a listen and please do a reaction so they also get to shine. Thanks!
Huge song, great and so nice reaction. Thanks a lot! Rocking BG's at their best. Wow!!! In the same rock genre on the same album (ONE) I suggest:"Will you ever let me'', "It's my neighborhood" and my fav one "A wing and a prayer".
There is a recent song by Barry Gibb released in 2016 "End of the Rainbow" that he wrote for Robin and he actually sang it to Robin shortly before he died. It may be too sad and it is, but he wanted to convey to Robin that their dream did come true! Interview with Piers Morgan.
Chad ,your weekends are awesome. Thank you so much.💕💕💕 love mo on lead, he is so dam good. When he is doing its my neighbor he walks back close where alan is and does a kick with both feet off the floor. 👍👍😘
I was wrong on the keyboardist. Peter Vettese was on the studio album. I just looked at my DVD of this concert and the keyboards are done by Vic Martin and Gary Moberley. I'm thinking since I went to all the trouble of getting it out, I will probably have to watch this concert today.
This song is great, makes you want to dance. Maybe sing along. I think I have this on DVD. Hey, I always wake up to the Brothers, my alarm clock plays their music. Really wonderful song. Yes, it was Australia, if it was the same concert I think it was. 🤔 I'm not fully awake yet, Run To Me just woke me up a little while ago, then I got up, dressed and decided to see if you put anything up, lol. "House Of Shame"! Good morning!
Good morning 🌞 Chad.....thanks for reacting to this song. I love hearing Maurice and seeing him and Barry on lead . Let's face it...this group is just simply awesome and one of a kind and the greatest band ever in my opinion. The Beegees were so versatile that all of their songs sounded different and new and Fresh....some groups songs after a while sometimes start to sound the same...but that was not the case with the Beegees. Look forward to hearing the next reaction.
You can see this performance from their concert in Australia. They introduce keyboard player at end. I’m thinking he is from Australia but not sure. Great performance!!!
It was the One For All tour in 1989, it was filmed in Australia. I've got the DVD of the concert, really cool. think I'll watch it while I wait for your next upload Chad 😉
Ooh, poor Robin has got a bite of rheumatism in his leg. Been there won the tee-shirt! Like the message of this song. I wish someone had told the cameraman it was a Maurice lead!
🖤🥀I love this song & video. I've got this album its priceless and unbelievable. I love the beat too. I've been in percussion all my life. These Guys had it all going on stage or off. They were truly Blessed! Thanks for posting this.🥀🖤☝️
Great song but I just wish when Robin and Mo do a lead vocal that Barry would just be a chorus addition. I would love to hear Mo exclusively on the lead because he has a great voice and Robin's is just mesmerizing. I'm trying to purchase this CD and DVD. I'm taking a long trip driving from pa to nm and I'm going to need some Bee Gees music for the ride.
The guitar is the one that John Lennon gave him for his birthday way back. John had played it for recording of Hard Days Night and he used it during the first concerts in the US. You can see John playing it in the concert where a male fan comes up on stage and shakes his hand and hugs him. Security then takes the guy off stage.
Love this song! Also love “This Is My Neighborhood” - Some great rockin’ Bee Gees! Their ability to knock it out of the park with any type of music is phenomenal! But I'm such a fan, probably a bit of favoritism here. Thanks, Chad! This is a good one! Keep ‘em commin’ 😎.
Thanks for continuing your Bee Gees journey. I haven't heard this one before and it's OK but not particularly memorable to me. My favourites that you haven't done yet are the Medley from this Melbourne concert and Morning of my Life from the One Night Only concert in 1997.
Hi Chad, have you heard ( 1st of May ) the only version I’ve heard is Maurice & his ex wife Lulu) they sang it long after their divorce, written of course by The Bee Gees, beautiful song ❤️❤️❤️
Love your Bee gees weekends, as you can see Mo could have done many more lead vocals but he preferred being the musical director of the Bee Gees, he sang songs that he particularly had a lot of influence on.
