I have a 2023 Ryker 900 Sport that I absolutely love, I’ve had it since November 2023 , it’s now May and have @3400 miles on it.
As a BRP trained riding instructor for 3WMCs, I have ridden most of the Spyder and Ryker models. For sheer riding fun, I prefer the Ryker. I feel much more connected to the road on the Ryker and I really like the CVT twist-and-go. Like the author here, I do think the 900 cc models are preferable.
Heck yeah that's awesome. 😎
If you are planning a trip where you need to bring along a few changes of clothes, buy yourself a rear seat sissy bar bag and slide it over the flip up back rest. I have a decent sized T-Bag that fits perfectly on the rear seat and slip over the backrest. I bought it quite a few years ago for other bikes I own. It works perfectly on a Ryker.
Oh yeah most definitely. I've been looking into a few different bags for the Ryker.
I do the same thing on my Spyder F3-S. I slot an old 63-litre Ventura bag over the rider backrest.
Just found you on TH-cam we live in Xenia and also own a ryker 900 and got it from ccm… she loves hers!!!
Heck yeah that's awesome!
Hello combs! I'm Chris from Canada and I'm on a 2013 spyder rt limited. Nice bike bud!
Hey Chris thanks for the comment and sound like you have a nice bike yourself. :)
FYI set your trip ometer. You know, you get a 150 miles to the to a full tank. Use that as an indicator . Or once fuel gets to the half way point the gauge becomes correct. It recalibrate itself
That's great to know. Thank you! 🤘
I live in Springfield, OH and I will be getting a Ryker soon
Heck yeah, well congrats!
skip the foot pegs and get the brake extender. The gas milage sucks.I run it down to empty and fill up and it is always 4 gallons and change. No Storage. Otherrwise, this beast is the shit.. I go easy most of the time but when I push it, it goes. Get one. Or two.
Come to Texas. It’s easier here. I have neither endorsement and I take the tolls yet. I have yet to receive a bill after eight months riding the tolls with my Can-Am the state of Texas classifies the Can-Am as a moped…..😮
Good to know!
THERE ALOT OF FUN😂😂😂
Never rode a Ryker but I have a spyder f3s. I know people always say that they are very fun to ride.
I've enjoyed every mile I put on mine. The Spyder looks like a blast too. 😎
I love mine. I've suggested to the government they issue one to everyone when they start receiving social security 10:05
Lmao glorious idea.
I am on social security and I'd damn sure take one!
@@dennisgmays62 do it Dennis, you won't regret it.
Is this the Rally? Not really enough miles to know how reliable it is. I have a Spyder F3-S. I love it.
Nope this is just the 900 and no issues so far in over 8000mi. I've only put 3500 on it myself but it had mileage before.
😂😂 rocks in your shoes
California requires a Regular Class C car license.😁👍🏽
Great video.
But the ad breaks are really annoying. Makes it hard to watch.
That Ryker is an awesome looking machine.
BTW I ryde a Spyder.
Unfortunately I don't have control over the ads at this stage of the game, I wish I did. Thank you so much! I love the Spyder myself I think they're really cool.
get the premium TH-cam subscription and adds are eliminated. He does not control the ads.. TH-cam does
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Doesn’t can am has a larger foot board for more comfort.?.
What are repair costs like? How is the quality and reliability? Does it break down a lot?
Only issue I had fixed was a small leak from the seal on the Crank positioning sensor. Covered under the maintenance plan I got surprisingly. Other than that all good!
Would you recommend a trike to experienced motorcyclists or to those who never driven?
Honestly either one. As someone who has been on two wheels in the past it was pretty easy to get a feel for the Ryker. Though it would be a good bike for those who haven't as well.
Hi. I live in Africa and i really want to get this trike. How do i get this serviced? Can i take it to any bike fixer for maintenance?
You should be able to.
I’m 22 and I’m willing to trade in my 05 Rav 4 for one of these. I barely drive 10miles a day, need a Ryker for a daily
I know this is subjective to everyone but how "safe" do you feel riding this?
Feels good and safe but you gotta keep your head on a swivel for these car drivers out here
Honestly just as safe as I feel in any other vehicle.
California is a Class C automobile license.
Ohio law. If you possess the 2wheel endorsement on your license you are legally permitted to use a trike. If you don’t possess the 2wheel endorsement you are then required to obtain the trike endorsement and will be limited to trikes only. No requirement for both endorsements.
For someone who really enjoys it. You haven't put very many miles on it in 2 years. That's a little more than 1,500 a year
Trust me I'm right there with you, I'd love to take the bike out more. Life gets in the way sometimes. 😞 Also I have a short ride into work (less than 10 miles) so that's part of it too.
You don’t ride much
Yeah hoping to do more trips this year
I never had a fuel gauge on any of my motorcycles...lol
