I didn't know this was a thing until this video. This is really awesome. And I enjoyed the announcer commentary despite what the other comments say lol
yeah, I enjoyed the commentary too. I've seen quite a few vids and some launches in person. it's nice to have the added info about what the rockets are etc.
No matter what happens (aside from a forgotten or failed igniter lol) rockets are always entertaining, whether they do what they are supposed to do or _not_ supposed to do🤣. I'm in the process of learning everything I can about HPR basics and plan to eventually join the Washington Aerospace Club once I feel more confident in my knowledge, at least I've got the manufacturing side down as I've worked in Aerospace assembly and machining for 20 years. I'm making my own APCP propellant and motors as of now but have only done static thrust and burn duration testing, I haven't flown anything yet. I made one recently with 400 peak lbs of thrust with a 2.5 second burn, it's a good feeling when you see your first successful burn without a Cato or chuffing lol, I've dealt with enough of that already 😄. Honestly just building motors is a ton of fun for me, it's turned into an excellent hobby. And by the way, screw the haters, you should double down on the commentary on the next flight day and make some snide comments about them🤣.
I actually do know who that is, but I'm not going to give out personal information over TH-cam, haha. However, here is an Iowa club Facebook page that you can use to get the ball rolling! facebook.com/groups/1539686736074380/?ref=share&mibextid=NSMWBT and you can see all the high power clubs at both tripoli.org and nar.org Hope you join in the fun!
@@RocketVlogs 😂😂 do it. Its the part of how they do their stuff. I been to one rocket show an they did it here to so he needs to not be a baby 😂 lease he gave u views lol
This is entertaining to the bone. the commentary included makes it even more immersive, thank you.

2:50 Shades of GPS-IIR-1 with all that solid fuel hitting the ground.
2:56 people who don’t know 👌 People who know 💀
This was entertaining except for the five-minute dorkgasm @11:20 when nothing was happening.
🤣
At 8:25. That one looked eerily like the Challenger.
I've had a few nozzle blow outs with propellant ejection that made the streaming smoke trails.
Legend has it that he is still talking about nonsense.
To avoid falling asleep, at 11:13, skip to 13:33 for the launch.
Forget the rockets, I could just listen to the announcer all day long!
I like some of those countdowns: In 5… ….4… ..3-2-1. 😂
If it's any consolation, sometimes the BIG rockets, built by professional rocket scientists, do all these things too.
At 4:14. I think it exceeded redline speed. 😂
I fear my scratch built mega max gonna go like that first rocket that went up but the cp is about perfect lol
@11:18 close to two and a half minutes blabbering. Someone like the sound of their own voice!
Seems like you've got the spare time to listen¯\_(ツ)_/¯
the first one sounds like a dad
Big bada boom. Fifth element…..
I heard someones from Ames Iowa, can you tell me who it is, I'm close to Ames, would like to meet them, I'm getting into HPR

@@RocketVlogs understandable, cool thanks
mmmm diet Dr. Pepper :)
This would be a GREAT video if you cut out the chitchat and just got to the CHAOS
the chitchat is a main event of the chaos.
his rocket so it gets the longest introduction. what a glory hound.
What are you talking about lol
Too shaky to watch for me. Hurts my eyes.
When I see these videos, the 1st thing I think of is all the carbon being emitted for nothing
I feel bad for you
It would be nice to see an electric engine instead.
@@drowe2 How in the hell do you propose to make an electrically propelled rocket?
Really to much talking. But cool video if you take away all the unnecessary talking
Next year I'm adding more!

I like the talking
@@RocketVlogs I love the banter, keep it up😁
Yeah guy is hammering his fuckin mouth just won't stop talking
Less talking. More action
Every comment like this nets another 15 seconds of talking in next year's video.

Is the cameraman suffering from Parkinson's disease?
