- Ceed 1.4 CVVT , 2010., 194e km. What is this engine noise? Timing chain? Valve clearence?
Mi lehet ez a zaj? Vezérműlánc? Hidrotőke? Az utastérben is hallható, gázadásra csökken a zaj. Hidegben erősebben kopog.

Én is 2010 KIA CEED 1.4 benzin (G4FA) tulaj vagyok. Megvettem az autómat 234.000 kilométerrel. Az itt hallott hang teljesem megegyezik az enyémmel. Sok járkálás, meghallgatás után hallottam mindenfélét hogy mi a baja. Okoskeréktől a láncig, a főtengely nyugvócsapágyon át minden volt. De volt egy szerelő aki azonnal elmondta mi a baja de egyszerűen nem akartam elhinni. Ezért kerestem tovább, de minden hiába volt, hát visszahívtam. Felkopott a motor az autóban. A dugattyú a nem megfelelő használat miatt elkopott és ahogy csuklott a hüvelyben ketyegett, kopogott. Teljes motorgenerál (blokkfúrás, új túlméretes dugók, hengerfejfelújítás, mindem csapágy és minden tömítés új) után minden(!) még az 500 kilométerenként elfogyasztott 1(!) L olaj is 0-ra csökkent. Szóval egy zseni és 600 ezer forint után újra tökéletes autóm lett. Ha valaki elolvassa ezt, egyrészt megköszönöm másrészt meg remélem segít. Olyan csendes lett mint egy Doxa. Szervízigényes az autó, de megéri mert egyébként szuper autó.

Common issue is a knocking noise inside. If that noise disappears after the engine warmed up, this is timing chain noise. You can relax - this is a unique feature.
You mean inside the cabin? After the car is warmed up, the noise is not dissapeared but significantly lowered, mostly noticable at low revs (idling)
Continuous Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) is the sistem who produce that noise, you all don't worry, its absolutly normal

Some say 200k km, others say never (if there is no strange noise ).

Esetleg jutottal valamire? Nekem is kb. pont ugyanilyen hangja van a motornak, 2009 1.4CVVT. Sokan a vezérműláncot mondják, de nagyon sok helyen olvastam, hogy csere után sem lett jobb a helyzet. Az ablakon meg jobb nem kidobni 200.000 FT-ot egy vezérléscserére :).
Sziasztok.Nekem is ilyen szép hangú benzinnel menő dízel autóm van, 110000 km igazából senkinek fogalma sincs konkrétan mi ez a hang az enyémet már látták pár szervizben,hidrótőke(elméletileg nincs benne),fő-illetve hajtókarcsapágy( 20000 km mentem vele nem hiszem hogy túlélte volna a csapágy),vezérműlánc(erre még hajlanék Én is mert igazából a feszítőpatron kopása miatt kisebb erővel feszítheti a láncot,lehet szériahiba,de erről infóm nincs),dugattyú szoknya kopása,nagyon alacsony dugattyú van benne és az billeg,melegen ezért halkabb,ez gyári szerviz infó ezt is el tudom képzelni simán beszámolták volna egy újba aztán eladták volna így ahogy van.Éljenek a csattogós benzinesek,hallgassátok a rádiót meg menjen a venti állandóan kettesen,azt ne halgatózzatok. Ezt mondták a szervizben.Üdv márkatársak!!!
Szia, a probléma megoldódott esetleg ? Vagy azóta is diesel, benzines kocsid van ? Az Én ceedem is kicsit hangos, kicsit szerényebb mint a videóba, csak aggódom, hogy nem-e lesz/van valami baja. Pár hónapja vettem használtan, ugyan ez az 1.4 16 szelep. Elvileg kicserélték a láncot (számlát adtak róla, de nem láttam ténylegesen a leszedett láncot.) mielőtt elhoztam. 108 ezer KM van benne.
Bad motor oil?
Nekem egy 2006-os kia rióm van.1.4 benzin ugyan ilyen hangja van és nem láncos hanem szíjjas.Úgyhogy marad a rövid dugattyú? Én is szeretném ha nem kopogna,de úgy néz ki marad a rádió hangosítás. Egyébként szeretem.Nekem is mondtak már mindent. Mondjuk a legkevesebbet az egri kia-nál ott úgy le ráztak, öröm volt nézni.
Szia. Történt esetleg valami azóta a motorral? Hasonló hangokkal küzdök én is
csak egy tipp ami nem túl drága, és ha nem jön be akkor se nagy veszteség. Ki lehetne próbálni olajcsere elött egy Xado motorolaj adalékot , és menni vele kb 1000 km-t majd utána olajat cserélni. Én sem hittem az ilyen "csodaszerekben". Nekem 5-ös golfon volt nehéz 2-böl 3-as fokozatba felkapcsolni, olyan reszelös érzés volt + nehezen ugrott be fokozatba. Beleöntöttem a váltóba a regeneráló adalékot, és par száz km. után már simán tudtam, és tudok a mai napig is váltani. Hátha a motor adalék is ilyen jó.
What is that ticking noise 1:09 - onwards? Is it normal? My engine makes the same noise, while idling and at low revs. Using 10W-30 oil

@@avinci3116 Normal? I hope that in the summer it will go away. That ticking is audible in the cabin too and comes from the CVVT area.

Bro, mine's 1.6 DOHC G4FC sounds similar but clicking comes from right side where clutch/gearbox is. Maybe sounds less "diesel" but clicking is noticable. I have done on mine 160tkm. I replace oil every 9tkm and always 5w30 as KIA recommends. 300 kms ago I have replaced a clutch (new LUK set installed) and still clicks. Few mechanics seen it and their opinion "Works fine". Worth to mention that despite 160tkm done it doesn't "eat" oil. I guess those engines like to make clicking sound. Friend who works in KIA garage told me G4FC and I think your engine needs regular (I think every 20tkm) valve adjustment. I am think about doing it.
My mum has the same problem
I did a valve adjustment, I changed the whole chain-set (chain, tensioner, rails) and the noise is still there, and most annoying it's still audible in the cabin. However this is more noticeable in the cold days. I use 10W30 oils and I change them regularly. Any other ideas of this kind of noise? 20k km valve clearance intervals seems very tight
@@peponas87 Well Dimitris, I haven't done valve adjustment yet but I have recently replaced front inner and outer tie rods, two front wishbones and two ball joints. Whilst hanging under my car I've noticed that MAIN engine pad/engine cushion is badly worn out. As I've mentioned before the "clicking" noise comes from clutch/gearbox area so I spoke with my mechanic. Apparently when main engine pad/cushion goes bad the connection between engine and gearbox gets messed up. The angle between engine-gearbox change and MAY create issue. At some point I will replace it and if it works I will REPLY here. Othe things to check CVVT unit (heard it could make noises) or double check if there are no loose elements/screws around clutch and suspension.
@@xnestlex I have checked the elements in the engine bay for loose or worn out ones, with no apparent result. I tend to believe that this is the normal engine noise. It's very annoying to hear that tap-tap inside the cabin. It's clear a mild-diesel noise! Can you hear the same noise in the cabin too?
@@peponas87 I can't hear no taping inside the cabin. I have heard it once but It was caused by WASHING LIQUID CONTIANER hatch/lid being closed/clicked to secure but even when it was locked properly THE LID was making tapign noise due to engine vibrations. The cheap plastic lid was shaking making weird sound. I've done about 10-15 thousands miles with that clutch/gearbox taping/clicking and it still drives great. No engine oil consumption (still). No other issues found... As I said I think it's how this engine "talks". Will replace engine pad and if it magically works I'll let you know

216e van benne most. A hang változatlan.... Hidegen hangos (0C körül) melegen nem annyira.
Azert ez eleg szenyen az ignisembe ennyi kilometer volt ha kiszaltam se hallottam a hangjat amugy egy tokeletes auto lenne ha lecserelem ugyanilyen vagy hyundai lesz

Hidrotőke, be lehet állíttatni vagy kitakarítják a motort olajcserénél és akkor halkabb lesz.

my kia ceed 2011 also sounds like that (the click noise, little bit like a diesel motor) ( 1:09 ) but i cant hear that noise inside the cabin. Maybe i dont hear good enough

Szia! Nálam is ugyanezt a fura kopogó hangot adja a motor alapjáraton! ( 2010 kia ceed 1.4 lx 110000km) Azóta kiderült, mert engem is nagyon érdekelne mi okozza ezt a hangot?!
Nem. a hang változatlan, de már 236e km van benne. Volt pár szerelőnél, de nem a vezérmű lánc rossz. "Ez ilyen". Van a faceén egy KIA Ceed Club adok veszek csoport, ott is van párszor szó róla. Érdemes körülnézni itt.

When I got the car from the previous owner, I changed to Castrol 5W40 and it became louder.
I guess the oil was thicker before (15-20k change interval) so it is probably the hydraulic valve lifter(s). Timing chain is also noticable but nothing to worry about.
Maybe I will try the "factory" oil used in warranty period next time and see if it restores the original noise level.
Just reading over the net.. Maybe its connected to a MANN oil filter I used, OEM oil filter is recommended on all forums due to the too restrictive aftermarket filters. That is also a difference compared to the oil interval before mine, so I will give it a try.

Nem szamitott a gyari olajszuro sem, pedig tuti eredeti. Most 0w40 olajat hasznalok jo ideje, rosszabb nem lett, ugyhogy nem is a hidrotoke szerintem.

157.000 km aldım. 7 yıldır elindeydi. Hiç sorun yaşamadım sadece motor çok gürültülüydü.

@@plane1994 ok. But when I bought this car, it was this same noise. 160.000 km. Now 247000km, but the noise is same, and same the timing chain too. I think, if I have a bad timing chain, it can't run 47000km...

@@peponas87 yes, I hear in the cabin.but it isn't loud. Many people replace the timing chain, but the noise returned.

254000 km-nél ugyanilyen hangja volt. Szóval nem lánc. Ezek ilyenek 🙂
