Go Kenny! Since the pandemic lock down I saw you more than my family. The more I learn the more I realize how much I don't know mixing. Thank You and Justin (Founder of Reaper) for providing invaluable tutorials for free. Well deserving a Nobel-Prize for great service to humanity for making the world a better place. I hope you guys live longer than me as I started to worry what to do if something happens to You, Justin and/or Reaper. Best wishes from Istanbul.

Nicely done Kenny! I must have over 800 IR samples, though I really only use four of them. I never thought to make an FX chain for my most useful ones.

Wouldn't it be more CPU efficient if you create FX-Bus tracks (for the Reverb, Delay) and then use each track's respective "sends" to control the signal amount sent to the reverb /delay FX-Bus tacks? Just wondering.
Thanks for sharing. You are the "man"!

Hey Kenny, could you demonstrate some of the new editing and takes features on 7.0? The new tabs functionality seems awesome. No idea how it works. I think I'm going to wait to upgrade until there's some good guidance on some of the new features.

My raw programmed drums from any VSTI NEVER SOUNDS LIKE THAT. Not taking a jab at you, but you're extremely good at sound design from the source. This sounds like a finished product on my laptop speakers (not even listening on studio monitors). What's the trick man?

    Nice!
    I have a question.
The kicks and the claps ended up clipping... Isn't this a problem??

  • @midiman5045

Kenny good stuff but the kick and claps tracks are pushing + into the red after your comp and EQ adjustments. How do you fix that? This comment is not disrespectful to you just asking

Thank you for another great tutorial, Kenny! Would you mind sharing which of the Big Gee IRs are you’re favorites? Also, what are the Reverb and Delay FX Chains you have saved? Thanks again!

Kenny, I have watched many of your highly informative videos, but when on God's earth are you ever going to use real MUSIC, as in a real ROCK song, this very weak hip hop example here does not even require of any mixing a two yr old can mix this to perfection, Once again show us the real stuff, not everyone out there mixes/works with "hip hop, crap!"
