They are human. Why are folks so pressured by this family? What has this family done to create so much negative and toxic press? Seems like there is a lot of envy and outright hatred for the coach, his sons and the CU Buffs. Why? There are hundreds of other universities with football teams. Why is everyone so focused on this one? Maybe the confidence of the Buffs leader makes a lot of folks uncomfortable. CP's sons are held to a different standard because the naysayers want to destroy the character and integrity of this family and the school that dared to hire this larger than life figure who has done nothing to garner the hatred and vitriol they receive. If I were I young athlete, I would not consider going to Colorado because it seems as if you're not deemed a favorite early on, you won't succeed there. As a coach, no matter how good or mid the players are, it is your duty to still be there for those players and to treat them as your own!

I respect Deion, I just think he’s at the wrong school. Colorado needs someone who wants to build a program. Deion wanted to win now with Shedeur and Shilo. CU wasn’t in win now mode when he took over and he doesn’t have the resources to turn this team into a contender at the snap of his fingers. If he was at Texas A&M or Alabama then his style would work. The transfer and recruiting numbers speak for themselves. They were barely the second best team in Colorado last year and beyond lucky they didn’t play Air Force. Shedeur would’ve been severely humbled if he pulled any of that bs
Need I remind you the Buffaloes won a championship in the early 90s. Same weather, same remote location. Sanders is no fool. He chose CU cause he’d have a large margin for error. A blue blood program like Tennessee or a Florida would have sky high expectations. Colorado hasn’t won in decades, and the culture is liberal, so he won’t have to deal with certain things. Either way he would have struggled.
