To continue your discovery of K-pop, you need to look into the next main group of 3rd Gen Kpop in Korea - Twice. They are a 9 member girl group formed from the trainees TV show Sixteen - 5 are from Korea, 3 from Japan and 1 from Taiwan. They debuted in 2015, have an extensive song library, broke many sales and show award records, have been on many tours and are possibly the hardest working group in kpop, with a Korean and Japanese release schedule. This is combined with multiple TH-cam and TV series, solo Melody Song and Dance Projects, Solo releases, Soundtrack songs, TV collaborations and special stages/performances. Its only February and so far they've done: ▪ "Moonlight Sunrise" (Pre-release English language song) ▪New Piano instrumental song video release (by Dahyun, 1 of members) ▪"Bouquet" (Japanese TV soundtrack song by Japanese members, known as MiSaMo ▪MiSaMo group unit debut album release date announced ▪MiSaMo group unit debut, individual and group intro trailers released ▪Japan 2022 concert BluRay/DVD due in February ▪ New comeback single and album announced for 10 March 2023 ▪Announced to attend to receive award at Billboards Women in Music Awards on 1 March 2023 in LA (first Korean group to do so) ▪Multiple episodes of their TH-cam Time To Twice show released. They have 35 single releases , not all in Korea, and its ideally best to do the songs in release date order to see how they've changed and developed but to get a flavour maybe start with these if you may not view them all in full: ▪Moonlight Sunrise (the latest and in English) ▪The Feels ( recent and in English) ▪Like Ooh-Aah (debut) ▪Cheer Up ▪Fancy
Twice would definitely be a great group to delve into - course they have a huge catalogue. Also some iconic songs - and 3 of their songs won Song of the Year.
