Is that a fellow Dankpods fan I'm seeing? Had to do a double take when I saw the cymbal, and a hand pointing at something. Solid video. No frills or fluff, just straight to the point details. Will definitely keep those pads in mind.
Was gonna go with these at one point, but I found some Chifi that fit me better and were an overall better headphone in terms of sound that I wanted. The build was kinda crap though, but the sound was great, especially when I swapped the pads with some mesh ones. They were essentially like Grados, with way more bass, that was also tight and controlled and didn't bleed.

Thank you for the video I've been researching new headphones and this was awesome!
there are aftermarket earpads that come with adapters, if you do not want to damage the original ones.

What didn't you like about the sound of the 9500? Which headphones and pads did you you get?
What pads would you recommend for semi open headphones (samson sr850)?
I’d probably use some kind of hybrid pad. Depends on what kind of sound you want from your headphones.
Need clarity and comfortable to use for long hours
@albertwilliam3452 I would go for an open velour pad, like beyer DT990 pads.
Not available in India 🥲
Ah I see. I’m sure you can find similar alternatives somewhere.
I have a pair of SHP9500's and Sony MDR 7506s and the bass on those is perfect. Could you say the bass on the Philips is more forward???
Yeah, it’s definitely on the warmer side.
I think you accidentally put link to some discord channel instead of discord server itself..
