I have the Shure SE 535, And I really really like it, it’s got that Rich warm signature, but the mid range is clear also, I don’t know how they do it. They’re very comfortable to wear in bed, and they will not leak sound to disturb the person next to you
Regarding the SHP9500 and different pads. You don't actually need the adapter from ModHouse. I've heard people say that they deteriorate the sound, but I can't comment on that. But you can stretch your pads to fit over the cups without them. That said, all leather/pleather pads will change the sound to a more bassy, V shaped one. The ones that change the sound the least are velour pads, which of course are much closer to the stock ones. I've seen people recommend the Brainwavz hybrid pads, the ones that are pleather on the outside and velour on the part that touches your ear. These are sort of an in between kind of sound and supposedly sound the most balanced.
@@JoshuaValour Yeah, I suppose they should be similar. Although if I was to buy pads for the SHP9500 I probably wouldn't spend too much. The price of the Brainwavz pads seems about right, Dekonis are overkill. With that said, if one can find other uses for them they should go for it. They are soooo nice. Love your videos mate! Keep up the good work!
I would like to see ALOT of rmaf footage. Would be cool to kinda see what it’s like there and get a feel for it with a lot of footage because I will probably never go
I loved your music review videos , i was listening to (Kaleida - Think EP) for the whole last week , i hope you share your favorite music one way or another .. Thankss.
Hey josh maybe try matching an uncommon album with a popular one? That way someone who is familiar with the popular album can hear about an album that has some similar sound to it. I think this way you bring in new peeps who are familiar with the popular music but also intrigue your more veteran audiophile types who are looking for new music
I want to see everything from RMAF. Forever doesn't care just put RMAF in the title and they don't have to watch. Make sure you try the cascades while you're at the Campfire audio booth
I Wanna Buy Some Misodiko Replacement Pads But it Looks Like My SHP9500 will be on ear instead of over ear after installation from the video I've watched
For rmaf. First off have fun. Secondly I just want to hear general impressions after the fact. What wowed you, what was one the best price for performance things you heard (this is important because hifi cost is insane) but yeah this is just one opinion. Have fun first and then give us updates when you can. All of this IMHO of course.
I totally agree. Having a separate channel for your travel and non-audio vlog stuff would be a great help, as it keeps this channel focused and helps each audience find what suits them best. And you can always do some cross-promotion in your channel description, Josh. Cheers,
You could just tack quick album reviews (or recommendations) on to the end of posts like Steve Guttenberg does over on The Audiophiliac channel. Doesn’t have to be more than two or three minutes. I’ve discovered lots of interesting or audiophile-grade music over there.
I've heard these pads (www.amazon.com/Shure-HPAEC1440-Replacement-SRH1440-Headphones/dp/B007Q0POM6) are great for the SHP9500. Keeps the sound signature closest to stock from comments on reddit.
david maison I can’t speak for Josh, but I can give you mine, for open back stereo use, I rotate between HD 600, HD 650, and hi-fi man HE 400 S For portable use, I use the Bose QC 35 in noisy environments, and then I rotate between Sennheiser momentum one and 2 and V Moda Crossfade 2 In ear, Shure SE 535 and Bose sound sport wireless and Airpods are favorites Grado SR 325e for well recorded jazz, it is THE jazz headphone for the money
Look at new and interesting stuff from RMAF. Everyone will be up ZMF ass and other top tiers like Mrspeakers. Find things that every other reviewer won’t be covering and go after that.

The "Dekoni Blue Hybrid Pads" actually are the best I have heard so far.

Shure HPAEC1840 maintains the sound quality and signature of SHP9500.
I Put Some 15.00 pleather replacement pads on my X2HR and I think they sound great . Best headphones I've purchased
I would like to see ALOT of rmaf footage. Would be cool to kinda see what it’s like there and get a feel for it with a lot of footage because I will probably never go
+1 just row footage ,, no talks ,, like a tour between booths.
ANDROMEDA JOSH. ANDROMEDA.
DMS I cannot escape it!!!
shure 1840 pads work nicely for shp 9500s
Can’t wait for your opinion on the lcd2c!
People recommend the Shure 1840 pads for the 9500 as they supposedly don't change the sound. Those pads look small to me though. Do they really fit?
Do a RMAF vlog at different booths 😃
And are you reviewing any little dot amps anytime soon?
I loved your music review videos , i was listening to (Kaleida - Think EP) for the whole last week , i hope you share your favorite music one way or another .. Thankss.
I have so cool audiophill playlist)...
sharing is caring =)
Always interesting.. as for RMAF highlights sound the best thing...
With the time zone difference, when I watch (yawn), it comes out on Sunday in Australia 🙃
Budget HD600 sound? I think the shp9500s have better sound. They have a wider sound stage, and more natural sounding bass. Plus, they're comfier.

Another great content Josh just joined your Patreon last week and have wonderful and safe Labor day weekend
Just put the travel stuff here, I’m easily confused by more channels.

I think that you should try the Sony MH1C. Great budget in ear.

Which size of pads do u recommend for sph9500, i bought 110x90 and i think they are small...
Would like to see a vlog channel. Washington is beautiful

could you please review the 35 euro isk hf2010 open back headphones im looking to get them cause my marantz mph pro 2s are incredibly uncomfortable

I'm for creating the separate channel. Doing it here would decrease the interest of the people that are here just for the audio.
Yup...I agree. I'm here for the gear, don't care about travel.
What is your daily headphone you use ???

Btw I love the music reviews! Why does every one of your videos every one of your subs have to like?
The community should just make a blanket statement that Shure are only good for professional studio monitoring.
Tried KZ IEMs?
Why do factory pads suck most of the time?

Like , its interesting :) #nikoladrums
