When i came to spain i was 16 the same thing happened to me. Acquired remember one Saturday i was doing house cleaning and a woman living in our house was like "eii maame do it well so when u start doing cleaning job it will be easy for u" .In the Ghanaian community, some people are dream killers..because of the language i started schooling in JHS but it wasn't easy but God saw me through..I'm in the college now hoping to persue law in the future...this lady has really inspired me ❤

@svtv, saw a young guy whose dad brought him to Spain when he got administration to university in a farm. I talked to him to return to Ghana, when he gets his permit to continue his education. He's now thanking me for the advice 🎉. I did same to a girl too. They're now grateful 🎉🎉🎉
The best thing that ever happened to my life financially in the US after doing general labor jobs for the first 7 years was to go to school and don’t regret a bit. I now make between $80k-110k annually as a nurse in Ohio. I can even make more if I want to but I don’t want to owe too much taxes with the government.

The Ghanaian community here is the US is different. Parents proritize education over everything. No wonder their children are one of the most educated in the US.

You can still work and study at the same time. Just be focus and you can do it. You are very young and nothing can stop you.

Pay no attention, focus on your goals and seek support from the Spanish people, even the South Americans are not interested in schooling

Very good decision, that you did not allow your father to stop you by study. And some of Ghanaians in abroad are like that, always try to discourage you, because of jealously and envy, just because they don't want the parson around them to be happier than they are

What i dont get is the relationship with the dad...it seems the support from him is not enough right from the start. I cant blame him but African parents needs to push hard for their kids especially those who love to pursue education in Europe instead of discouraging them to settle for menial jobs. Dj Nyame the sistyerm in abroad with the children we brought here are serious oooo l brought my son in in Italy here to go to school to get better job, l make him go to technical school so that he don't do the same man power work l have done for almost 16 years but after finishing school he chose to fellow people doing meat work which if I no l would have let him start work when he came here, so yeah the people we are living together as friends usually change the mind of the children

Germany is the headquaters of europe and a lot of spanish people are moving to germany cos the pay is not good in spain.
Even a specialist nurse in Germany earns more than a doctor(60-65000 per year) in Spanish.Spanish dont pay well for healthcare workers in general .They pay low. A lot of them move to Germany in the end.

@kwamedarko1141 yes I do. EU 65000 is just a normal salary. A doctor should earn 6figures. Even nurse anesthetic in US earn 200 thousand to 300 thousand a year. How much more a doctor

You guys are always making unnecessary comparisons. Earning between €5000 and €6000 per month in Spain is the same as earning about $15,000 x month in America in terms of Purchasing Power Parity (PPP). Living expenses in Spain is about 3-4 times less than that in the USA.
