Wow! Hearing his beautiful voice with the orchestra and acoustics is amazing. I would love to see him live . He sounds better live than most singers do in studio performances.
Wish we could see his face. This has been one of my favorite pieces since I used to listen to John Raitt sing it on my mom's original cast album from the 1940s. I love Jeremy Jordan, and his ebullient delivery and gorgeous voice do full justice to this song. Also listen to Joshua Henry's performance from the 2018 Broadway revival. Both of these are glorious - very different, but tremendously skillful and moving.
