What's amazing to me is that Jeremy can never cease to AMAZE me. Even being a fan of his for 7 years I can find a video I've never seen and drop my jaw from it. Some of great best singing I've ever heard.
I went to see this young man in concert in London recently, because he is good to listen to and also very handsome. I wish there was a properly made video of him singing Why, God why? as he does it so well. He obviously has lots of fans, but I feel he deserves more.
NeverlandAddict These are actually called pop standards, also known as part of the Great American Songbook. They're definitely classic! But they're not classical...that refers to composers like Beethoven, Mozart, etc. Aren't these great songs?! 😊😊
Kaneohe I think the original post was referring to his classical voice. Granted, his contemporary voice is still in play... but his voice has a lot more purity and sustained vibrato than some of his other stuff.
@@ohifonlyx33 Yes, but still not really classical technique, he's not using much chest voice, which you need to sing over an orchestra without a mic.. (but yes, the vibrato is perfect :) )
Jeremy Jordan, a man a many talents but first and foremost is his musicality and outstanding vocal ability. It's a tribute to his stage work and training that he not only has a broad repertoire but that he performs with seemingly effortless style. The Great American Songbook is in good hands with an artist such as this. How wonderful to hear such classic standards being performed so beautifully.
Listen to the First Song, Love is a Many Splendored Thing - Listen to Jeremy sing the opening word, "Love," and then the word "Once" (at 1:06) when the Melody comes back. The Vocal quality is stunning. So many young singers today cannot hold notes with a sustained vibrato as they have no vibrato and no control. Jeremy has a great vibrato, beautifully controlled with gorgeous tonal quality. Thankfully, great singing is still in alive and well with our youth today.
1. Love is a many splendid thing 2. Mona Lisa 3. The Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe 4. All the way 5. Moon River... he was recreating a melody done by crooner Andy Williams
How great to hear JJ singing from the Great American Songbook. He's been great in broadway productions but they sometimes don't let a vocalist show their own very special stylings. JJ sounds terrific here and shows some very personal interpretations of these standards. It's one of the best things I've ever seen from him. I'd buy his tunes if he released a collection.
If anyone ever asks me who Jeremy Jordan is or why I like his singing so much, I'm going to show them this video. His tone is phenomenal and his voice calms me in such a beautiful way, and I'm always fascinated while he sings. I would kill to see him live.
I still can't believe I enjoyed him on the Supergirl tv show and never knew he could sing like this. Unfriggingbelievable! I later found out he could sing, but not like this. Now, it seems like I'm obsessed. Lol
Oh good I was starting to think I had already found watching obsess over every video there was of Jeremy. I'll play this one another three hundred times or so too
Why does he even bother being on tv? Every word out of his mouth should be sung. Every time I watch Supergirl I just want to yell "Shut up and sing!" which I know is contradictory but you know what I mean!
Wonderful choices from the American Songbook. Nice that a guy his age appreciates these classics. This is the music I've performed all my life -- not at his level of professionality, of course -- but these are magic!
Thank god for that woman with the short hair in the background!! Especially at 7:45. She seems to be the only one caught up in Jeremy's spell (like the rest of us)! 😍
classy great talented singer..write the man his own musical someone please!!! He could so easily be a new Frank Sinatra or Bing Crosby or Paul Anka or Michael Feinstein.
Please, please, please do an album of the great American song book. That superb voice of yours will surely do justice and more on those songs and I bet you it's gonna be a hit. Thank you so much for your very exceptional talent.
I Never knew he can sing THAT good, i have only searched him after i heard him singing in "Duet" cross over episode ... go win !! singing should be your career
Eman Mohsen You should check him out in "The Last Five Years" on netflix, too!! and then watch every single video you can here on youtube. Joiiiiiinnn uuuuusssss lol
he has been in a lot of broadway shows including west side story! His first tv show was smash. Even though I don't watch supergirl I am pleased he is getting more fans from the show cause he is an amazing talent.
You MUST watch the films Joyful Noise and The Last Five Years both of which he's in and also check out the broadway shows Newsies and Bonnie and Clyde! This mans talents are endless!! I'm so madly in love and obsessed with him
+Clara Castex Oh, there's plenty more where this came from. Just do a search for Smash and you'll spend waaaaay too much time listening to his amazing voice.
"Love is a Many Splendid Thing", from the movie of the same name, "Mona Lisa" , "Atcheson, Topeka & Santa Fe", I think from a Bing Crosby movie in the 40's, "All the Way", "Moon River", from the movie Breakfast at Tiffanys
"Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe" is from the 1946 movie "The Harvey Girls" starring Judy Garland, John Hodiak and Angela Lansbury. It won the Oscar for best song that year. Written by Harry Warren and Johnny Mercer. Bing Crosby had nothing to do with it.
That first note just isn't fair. Nice newsies reference. Oh and a supergirl reference too! Oh and that last note is just... this whole thing is just... go on Jeremy show us what you can do!

Please tell me that jeremy jordan is inhuman. Been watching his videos for 3 days straight and i cant believe this kind of talent exists, or i think im an alien
Those people in white look like they really didn't want to be there. Especially that Asian guy in the first song, who looked like he was waiting in the dentist office.
"Jeremy Jordan sings---" already clicked it
literally me BAHAHAH
Bruh he held that last high note for about 17 seconds. Imagine being THAT talented. King of lungs.
So true. King of New York 😉
Wooooow. that last note! what a chest. the air in his lungs is infinite.
ivanbm On a high Bb too!
Diaphragm, not chest!!
What's amazing to me is that Jeremy can never cease to AMAZE me. Even being a fan of his for 7 years I can find a video I've never seen and drop my jaw from it. Some of great best singing I've ever heard.
nice to see him in something other than a checked shirt
This comment made my day
Fuck yes
HAHAH
Lol
Occasionally he wears striped ones. :)
Didn't thinks I could love Jeremy any more than I already do................I was wrong
Somewhere in South Texas there is one very proud high school choir director. We’ll Done.
I went to see this young man in concert in London recently, because he is good to listen to and also very handsome. I wish there was a properly made video of him singing Why, God why? as he does it so well. He obviously has lots of fans, but I feel he deserves more.
why is this the first time i've heard him sing classical? I'M MELTING. THANK YOU.

Well said!
Thank you WOW!
He has the most beautiful voice! I wish he would do an album of these classics!
KathMcG can he please!
haha, he said "Santa Fe"
wild to hear him sing a santa fe that isn’t THE santa fe

Now I want Jeremy and Melissa to sing Moon River together. They are both great and it would be so beautiful
fr
Good thing I wasn't in that choir because I would have lost it every time he opened his mouth
Oh good I was starting to think I had already found watching obsess over every video there was of Jeremy. I'll play this one another three hundred times or so too
HE HELD THAT LAST NOTE FOR 23 SECONDS !!!!
What a sublime voice Jeremy has , always note perfect , and what a finish!
100% would pay for an album of this.
Love you Jeremy.
I continue to watch Supergirl just to watch you.
Jeremy Jordan has the voice of an Angel
That first note had me FLOORED
Why does he even bother being on tv? Every word out of his mouth should be sung. Every time I watch Supergirl I just want to yell "Shut up and sing!" which I know is contradictory but you know what I mean!
I was literally JUST about to comment "and this is why he shouldn't be working on supergirl"...
THIS is why they're doing the Supergirl/Flash musical!
TV gives more money, I'd shut up too if they give me more money :p
lol i guess i prob would too
RIGHT but i love the musical ep.
The more I listen to this the more obsessed I become with it!
Such ease in his singing....a style of his own,! The more I listen to him , the more I think he is just so fabulous. !!
My friends and I enjoyed this evening. This young man is super talented.
GAWD he's perfect.
This is singing. It may be an understatement but it makes me feel good to hear him sing like this.
he is fantastic. love him. those people behind him need to spruce it up.
Wonderful choices from the American Songbook. Nice that a guy his age appreciates these classics. This is the music I've performed all my life -- not at his level of professionality, of course -- but these are magic!

lol I was watching her too! Everyone else seemed bored to death but she was into it - and who can blame her?!
I know! I love her expression and her gentle sway - so genuine! We're with you girl!
@@maninchair6648 some of the girls are lowkey checking him out/trying to hide it. trust me... those are MASKS.
He's singing some of my favorite songs! Now I just need him and Michael Buble to do a duet haha
His voice is better than Buble
classy great talented singer..write the man his own musical someone please!!! He could so easily be a new Frank Sinatra or Bing Crosby or Paul Anka or Michael Feinstein.
Why doesn’t he have his own album yet?!
How can a man be this perfect? Seems like it’s not even possible for one person to have this much talent
He is exceptionally good!! I love how he sings these classics. I am in complete awe!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I love his musical choices...so glad to hear these songs being brought back, and so well done!
Wow, the instrumental arrangements sound very "retro"--lots of strings & brass. 40's, 50's, & 60's. Sweet.
I so wish i was there live...
I am years too late.
This is great! I swear, JJ's voice is as smooth as butter! Wonderful! I'm favoriting this!
Please, please, please do an album of the great American song book. That superb voice of yours will surely do justice and more on those songs and I bet you it's gonna be a hit. Thank you so much for your very exceptional talent.
He's always fresh singing songs I've heard many times before, but he makes them seem new. Additionally, he has a wonderful sense of humor.
HIS VOICE IS GODLY!
mmm i love the piano for all the way @ 4:58
jeremy's voice is heavenly
I got to see this live! Thank you for posting this!
JEREMY PLEASE COME BACK TO PASADENA I NEED TO SEE YOU BEFORE I LEAVE THIS EARTH

I hope that in the near future Jeremy Jordan and Jonathan Roxmouth will have concert together. They are my idols.
Petition for Jeremy to cover every sings in the world
My favorite Jeremy Jordan performance - his voice and style were made to sing the Great American Songbook. I am in heaven! :)
Amazing voice.
I want to be his Huckleberry friend...
I'm blown away by his talent.
Anyone got the full HQ recording? Has this been professionally recorded? I swear I'm willing to pay...
i can't. i just can't. why do feel like i am literally going to faint?
hes got a gorgeous voice
He has a fantastic voice.
I have to watch this video at least once a day in order to avoid going insane.
I just love him so much
I love the reaction of the bald guy on that last note
Thanks for posting this! I really wish I could have went.
Absolutely incredible!!!!
Wow! Didn't know one of Supergirl's love interests was this talented!
He has been knocking people out of their seats on Broadway for quiet a few years. :)

Somebody push Harry Connick out of the way and give this guy sone room. That would threaten the crap out of Bublé.
I’d love to see them collaborate. We had some great cinema from Sinatra, Crosby and Martin.
STOP MAKING ME CRY
I'm glad I've come across this video. This genre sounds beautifully to my ear 😎
This is World class ,a magnificent performance .Equal or even better than the great crooners .

Jeremy Jordan: "whats breathing?"
dO THESE PEOPLE NOT KNOW THEY ARE AMONG A GOD??
Exactly! Why are their jaws not on the ground?
The people at the back wall seem so non-plussed. I just don’t get how they can seem to be so bored.
Is that last note even legal?
he's the one doing the capturing!
❤❤❤ thanks
Is he even real?! 😫 so talented
I think this is the Andy willams medley he did this a few years Later in corpus Christi this is from the great American songbook
