They were lucky to have you and you were lucky to have them. I don't cry for my first cat because she died before turning 17. She had her life. I just miss her. I still cry for my third cat because she died before 3. It was a birth defect and usually it reveals over 1 and cats those have it die before 2. She was a fighter. To add to that our big girl Lilly a 17 year old Pit lab had to be put down 6 weeks ago,,, Hardest thing I ever had to do! She was pushing herself through the end, a real fighter. I couldnt see my way to putting her down, I wanted her to go on her own terms. But she was suffering pretty bad and was getting hard for my wife and myself. They bring us so much happiness and love it's so hard to say goodby!! They brought me comfort and unconditional love through some of the hardest times in my life,,,,! Only a pet owner and animal lover can truly understand!

In 1995, my mother-in-law brought home a small kitten that had been dumped in a grocery store parking lot. She came out of the store to find him sitting on the hood of her car, crying his heart out. She and my father-in-law bathed and fed kitty, named him SEC, (Somebody Else's Cat,) and introduced him to their very large Golden Retriever, Sarah. They bonded instantly, and were inseparable pals until Sarah passed away five years later. SEC missed her greatly, but the two Goldie pups who came to live with him, several months later, loved him too much and he got no peace. They would push him in the pool and then try to retrieve him. SEC came to live with my husband and me. He always behaved more like a dog than a cat, and preferred the company of dogs to other cats. Golden Retrievers are wonderful friends and caretakers to babies of all species.

I've had a golden. Best dog ever, she lived for 14 years. I'm an RN, and I have had patients tell me, and hospice patient's families have told me, that God has disguised Angels at times as Golden Retrievers❣️They also make GREAT therapy dogs!

Slightly upsetting seeing how a little rough the dog was with the kitten, and taking the kitten for a swim looked scary for the poor thing. Cats dont like water and the kitten wanted out and looked afraid. The rat?? A source of worms and parasites if it was a real dead rat. I'm glad the kitten may find a home, but I hope its future is a little more gentle.
Definitely fake in the sense that they've trained the dog to do this. Simply go to their youtube page and you'll see similar videos where its quite obvious that it's all staged. There is even one video showing a dead cat in small dug out grave with the golden retriever standing over it. It's labeled something like "dog doesn't want to bury its friend". These videos are made to pull on our heart strings, but in reality many of these animal are injured by the human to invoke empathy and sadness but are labeled as "sweet" because the animals are meant to show human emotions. These animals are definitely being harmed to invoke, likes, clicks, and inevitably revenue from people who click on them and say things like "oh, how cute" and "how wonderful". Do not support these videos, click 'dislike'.

Just wanting to hug it and carry it around out of love. Some creatures don't understand how delicate creatures are. They learn the sad way. I'm sure this dog will be very upset when it's play thing dies from a broken neck. Hands up how many parents would let their dog play that rough with their newborn/young baby?
Yeah the human should have stepped in to remove the kitten from the bath. Cats don’t inherently like baths and that was way too deep. Just like the last guy said this is someone directing this dog on what to do. These channels make money by exploiting animals in a seemingly positive way but it’s the small near constant repeating of tiny abuses or neglects that really add up to make it wrong

You’ll be glad to know that Golden are literally bred to gently hold things in their mouth, try giving them a raw egg to hold, they’ll do so gently. This is because true to their name and origin, they were bred to be Gold Miners companion, so they have a very gentle mouth and love of water
Had to stop when the kitten struggled for its life in the tub while you filmed and later added cheery music. Does this animal mean so little that you allow your sweet golden to use it like a toy when it should be given TLC including veterinary care? That I would watch.

That dog got better success bathing her kitten than any time we've ever tried bathing any of the cats we've had! Kudos to Momma Dog.

This is because true to their name and origin, they were bred to be Gold Miners companion, so they have a very gentle mouth and love of water
