@@erintaylorwrites Yes, the old pans are bigger and inconsistently sized between palettes. But the newer pans are all the same size (and the formula has improved a hundredfold, IMO). I totally agree about the color stories, that’s why I’m so happy their palettes are magnetic. I mix and match and customize mine till the stories make sense. 😍
Yes!! When my notification came up, I had to stop everything and come watch this video! 🤩🤩🤩 Ugh! I can't with all the pretty! Those are all stunning shades and i loved the swatches! I am a sucker for a shifty shade. Lethal is definitely on my "to buy" list. And, of course, Ensley Reign is unparalleled with their shimmery goodness but i also loved the shades that hold their own that don't have the "pyrotechnics" and are just plain pretty! Awesome idea for a video and per usual, you did it amazingly! 🎉🎉🎉
It is so shocking to swatch Ensley next to all the other shimmers that I love, because NOTHING compares! I'm going to use my other new palette tomorrow to film my Buys and Byes and I am so exited to dip my fingers into those shimmers!! Lethal I think would be my second fav indie brand at this point but I know I have so much more to try!
That last palette could have done a snow white shade instead of the black. Imagine the sun shining on a fresh snow, sparkling, you must cover your eyes a bit to be able to take in the sparkle. That’s what is missing on that palette.
YES!!! That would have been perfect!! They could have call it First Snow or something like that. LOL in the K dramas, the first snow fall of the season is very romantic. ❄️ That would have been so pretty!
aw!! thank you!! I think it is time for a hair cut though. I saw how long it was when I wore it done and was like whoa!! looks like 3-4 inches need to come off! My hair gets so hot around my neck and I also hate it touching my face. 😅 hence why I almost always have it up. I had a pixie cut in high school and it was great until I grew it out and went through the mullet phase. 😂
I love wearing pink eyeshadows, that colour compliments my brown eyes and pale cool toned skin perfectly. My 3 favourite shimmers are Enamoured and Blossom Up from Blush Crush and Healing Water from the Pisces on the Sky quad, both Colourpop palettes
oh! I would say that pinks are a close second to purple for me too! 😅 but then I also love greens, and golds, and warm tones. goodness! I just love them all!! ❤️
Everyone else loved the TF chocolate gold palette, but that is the only palette I ever returned. I got it for really cheap but it made my eyelids look old.
Oh goodness! the shimmers are on the thick side!! They are smooth and impactful, but I can see how they would bring out texture on the lid. If I put too much of a shimmer on my lids, it can look heavy and bring out all the wrinkles/creases on my lids also!
I am a mattes and shimmer person. I love Sydney Grace and have many of her mattes and shimmers. Unbreakable Bond is beautiful! I also like and own the Beauty Bay Botanical which came out and was only a limited edition. Just subscribed to your channel.👍🏻
The Botanical color story is so pretty!!! I have some SG singles and I like the shimmers more than the mattes. I've never purchased an actual palette from SG though. Maybe non of the color stories jump out at me, but I know the formula would be great no matter what! Thank you for subscribing! It means so much to me!! ❤️
I’m all about purple too! In fact, I felt bad in high school because our rival school’s colors were purple and white!😮 At least college colors were purple and white so I could wear purple without guilt!😅
This makes me want to go back and look up my high school colors. LOL! I've never been a football fan, so I didn't go to any of the games. When I think of college with purple, I would guess LSU. But again since I'm not a football fan, I don't follow any of the colleges. I went to FSU, but I was 28 by the time I attended and wasn't into the school scene.

such a wonderful video… i am also more of a metallic shadow person and love impactful shimmers… i can do without a black eyeshadow in any palette to be honest😅
OH, thank you for letting me know. I will admit that I have not used them enough to get hard pan on the shimmers. I think with how many colors are in their palettes, that I stick with one neutral, one impactful matte, then a shimmer and that is it. Or do a mono color look.
I have never experienced hard pan in my odens eye palettes so i wouldn’t worry about that 😊 I have the solmane 2 moon wish and snow dream palette which is very well loved in my collection- just putting in my 2 cents 😉

My favorite shadow is Sunshine from the Unearthly Spring Magic palette. It’s a pinky-coral multichrome with gold shifts and it’s absolutely magical. ❤

My odens eyes palettes the shimmers get hard pan quick. For the mattes I have to baby them because if not they can get muddy
