I get that there are a lot of issues with people not feeling okay to try to ask, I really feel that personally, but I think "being inside a client's home to do repair work" is pretty distinctly an example where you don't do that.
I will say as someone who does house remodeling customers shoot their shot so often that sometimes that idea of “oh shit this is real unprofessional” can be hard to remember, so I imagine he was just really vibing with her and forgot that that’s not an okay thing to do. I’m not saying was fine, because customers do it all the time, but everyone has a small lapse in judgment every once in a while.
Never mind. I didn’t get to the point where the dude was talking about writing letters, when I wrote that first comment. Asking for a date is one thing. But he was starting to get weird.
Pre-internet, this was a common way people met each other. I wouldn't be surprised if it still is for those that are older or younger folk who are detached from the internet.
honestly because of the dude's situation (being hired for a single day), it makes sense for him to move fast. it's better to shoot your shot rather than not In normal cases, everyone will forget about it since there was only 2 people, unlucky for him, enna streams for thousands
Seems like the guy had pretty decent skill here. He was able to shoot his shot while feeling non-threatening(and to Enna of all people). He didn't hedge when asked if he wanted to date. Obviously not every attempt to connect with someone will be a success, but this guy for sure won't have any problem finding a girlfriend.
Lol no. You don't make moves on people while acting in a professional capacity. That's like 'How To Get Fired 101'. By all means, be friendly and civil but understand that there are boundaries in these situations that you just do not cross. She's not inviting you into her home hoping to find a partner. She's trusting you with entering her home because she needs a job done. Shooting shots in that situation fundamentally breaks that trust and not only makes you a shitty tradesman, but 9.5 times out of 10 it puts the customer in an extremely awkward and uncomfortable position that they never wanted in the first place. If the two of you hit it off and SHE makes the first move then that's completely different, but you never ever make the first move while on the job. That once in a blue moon time where it works for you is not worth the dozens or hundreds of other times when it makes you look like a complete fucking creep. There's a time and a place for everything, and this ain't neither of them.

@@rafresendenrafresenden.1644 That is not how dudes get dates. That is how dudes get rejected, reported, fired, or worse. It is inappropriate to hit on someone who is in a vulnerable position, such as inviting a stranger into their home for a service. It is also disrespectful to the customer and the employer to use the job as an opportunity to flirt. The customer is paying for a service, not a date. The employer is expecting professionalism, not harassment. There are plenty of other ways to meet potential partners without making them feel uncomfortable or unsafe in their own home.
Everytime my sister have something to do with stranger or even her colleague (if her husband not there) she will call me as her company, you don't know what kind of guy you have business with, so please be careful
I don't care what people say, that guy should be reprimanded (or fired worst case). That is extremely unprofessional behavior. You do not mingle with your clients.
Oh god I feel this so much. Luckily never at my own place but I also get into panik mode and uncomfortable about situations like these. I‘m also not in a state to wanting to date or be interested in anyone and I personally feel it‘s a huge inconvenience to me whenever a guy is interested in me and it‘s NOT in the friendship way..
Jeez xD Even as someone as inexpieranced as I am know you don't ask a girl out as a stranger whilst in their house for work or something. Its just awful timing, at least wait until you've stepped out the door or something. Neither of you know each other well enough for that. Its not like she can walk away after declining or anything you know? She doesn't know you, she doesn't know how you'll react to being rejected. Chances are reasonably high that even if she does say yes, its because she's feeling pressured to do so and is going to stand you up.
Wow, I'm actually offended as a tea drinker. My god, that is so damn wrong. This is like someone thinking instant coffee is high quality and fancy. You made "tea", you didn't make TEA, there's a difference. Enna, unlike you, does it properly. It's slow, but the quality difference can't be quantified.
@@johnfake548 Bruh. I want a cup of tea, not a chemistry experiment. If you want to waste like 40 minutes brewing a cup of tea then go ahead. You do you fam. But for the rest of us who actually have shit to do, we'll happily take our "tea" and get on with our lives. As a black woman with bronchitis once said, "ain't nobody got time for that".
It sounds like he was nice, but it's extremely inappropriate to ask someone out when you're IN THEIR HOUSE as basically an employee. They don't know how you're going to react, which might make them feel pressured to agree because now you know their address and they feel unsafe. Don't do that lol
yeah I understand because of the situation but people are being super harsh to the guy. a lot of men literally do not ever get compliments or gifts, that combined with the hobby dump could give mixed signals if you want to see someone as just a worker and not a person who can misunderstand things. men really aren't just serial killers waiting to snap, like why be that afraid off the rip. people are just upholding stigma here, probably without realizing it either.
@@soopFPS Yeah, I personally didn't see the guy as being that bad. He was merely being unprofessional. I'm sure he's a really great guy overall, it's just that Enna was probably not the one for him, lol.
Yeah! I don't think he was 'that bad'. But, of course, it's not like Enna's in the wrong either just because she didn't ask for a wedding ring right then and there, which is what others might imply as soon as we give the guy some kind of solice. He was likely genuinely alright (and coming from a Southeast Asian country, guys with 'less courtesy' and 'awareness' like that are extremely common), but yeah. The view of being a woman with a home, and having a stranger let alone an adult man come into the house may not be easily understood by a lot of men like ourselves, but that doesn't invalidate her reasons for wanting that situation to end, because it was uncomfortable. Sure, if Enna was rude AF to the guy that would be discouraged, but she let him down the only way she knew, and I'd argue that the worst thing to have done would have been to let him on. Also, you could also say that the guy was unprofessional, but that's neither here nor there. But, either way, I can't suddenly say that the guy's a literal threat either, just that it wasn't wrong for a person to wanna get out of that situation and have that person finish their job and get out of their house. Nothing wrong with that as long as you paid them and they did what they were supposed to. The guy didn't seem to mean anything that directly tried to force Enna's hand in a sense, and he only seemed to insist that he really really wanted to make a relationship possible (I'm not a psychologist, but I think if Enna had just said "Sorry, I'm not interested in a relationship", it would've been easier because I think what the guy was getting out of everything that Enna was saying was "there are a few obstacles against letting us be together" hence the guy kept insisting that he could get those obstacles away, like a prince from a video game or something idfk. He thought she was only denying him because of things out of her control in a sense. I don't blame Enna for responding like that though, it just would've been easier for both parties for Enna to have blankly said no). But, yeah. If you're uncomfortable with that, then you're uncomfortable with that - and it should be okay to wanna have that end.
HAHAHAH I can relate a bit to enna. A situation like that is just too sudden and out of expectation, that's why I can feel the panic and the feeling to want to get out of that situation quickly.
Damn, I guess some Vtubers just have some natural charm they can't turn off. XD Okay, but really though, this definitely seems like an odd, uncomfortable situation... :p (By the way, I find it kind of interesting how much Enna's voice cracks from high pitched anime voice to a deeper normal voice, LOL. XD).
I feel that guy that's one of the ways i used to talk to girls and when they tell me they weren't ready for a relationship or something else i just told them let's meet each other and see what happens bc it is kinda weird if you accept someone you just talked to for the first time and if their do that well that doesn't end really well so on the other hand we ended up becoming friends or something else if things go well its just a way to take rejection in a way i dont feel i didn't try enough

Never mind. I didn’t get to the point where the dude was talking about writing letters, when I wrote that first comment. Asking for a date is one thing. But he was starting to get weird.
@@coltondavis7022 When I got to that part the cringe got the better of me and I could not continue watching lol
Pre-internet, this was a common way people met each other. I wouldn't be surprised if it still is for those that are older or younger folk who are detached from the internet.
gonna point out is NOT unprofessional since he was VERY polite and stayed polite. Man shot his shot simple as that.
Bro really swooned someone by making tea
I know like half of the teas she mentioned but damn girl
honestly because of the dude's situation (being hired for a single day), it makes sense for him to move fast. it's better to shoot your shot rather than not
In normal cases, everyone will forget about it since there was only 2 people, unlucky for him, enna streams for thousands
@@Fraggr92 this guy legit scared me fr i wouldve kicked him out of the house hairdryer fixed or not i wouldnt risk my home/space or self. him thinking that shooting his shot while during the job is really unprofessional. plus his persistence creeped me out even if he was joking. "im gonna put a petition so that the rent is lowered and you stay" when the problem wasnt even the rent or money in the first place. homegirl just lied that she wanted to see her dad and move into japan. making a joke like that when youre not even friends is creepy. just the person himself feels unsafe for me and i could tell for enna too since she locked her doors and windows IMMEDIATELY. what person wouldnt be scared??? theres a time and place for everything and THAT was not it.
@@stormyenglish_23 if it works it works, that is literally how dude get dates.
There are plenty of other ways to meet potential partners without making them feel uncomfortable or unsafe in their own home.
at least the way she said it seems like hes a kind dude, but that shit out of nowhere is genuelly scary I totally understand enna freaking out 😂
I've never heard of Enna before but she is genuinely hilarious, this is actually such a good story lol
oh god i feel the rejection for the guy and i feel the awkwardness i feel so bad for both of them for being put in the situation 💀💀💀
Right😂
Everytime my sister have something to do with stranger or even her colleague (if her husband not there) she will call me as her company, you don't know what kind of guy you have business with, so please be careful
9:47 Enna stopping herself from saying that LMAO
I don't care what people say, that guy should be reprimanded (or fired worst case).
That is extremely unprofessional behavior. You do not mingle with your clients.
Woa, I wish I had some friends that were into tea like that to have a good conversation over.
imagine the dryer guy watches this EMOTIONAL DAMAGE
Oh god I feel this so much. Luckily never at my own place but I also get into panik mode and uncomfortable about situations like these. I‘m also not in a state to wanting to date or be interested in anyone and I personally feel it‘s a huge inconvenience to me whenever a guy is interested in me and it‘s NOT in the friendship way..
Enna: "No one wants me."
Chat and The Guy: *"E-ehh..."*
_www_
I’ve never seen this type of content before it’s pretty entertaining. I was so bored looking for stuff to watch TY
Welcome to the rabbit hole 😀
Another proof of Enna getting influenced by Kyo's speech pattern: she added okay to the end of almost every sentences she said 😂
Jeez xD Even as someone as inexpieranced as I am know you don't ask a girl out as a stranger whilst in their house for work or something.
How to avoid this in the future "Nah, water if fine. Tea sucks." Now instead of an awkward situation, you have a hostile Enna.
The guy got rizzed up
It’s always a pleasure listening to stories from Enna 😊
Enna accidentally used her love potion tea...
It's just millie adding it secretly😂
Enna has that grandma knowledge when it comes to tea in a good way
This guy really felt like he found the one
Good taste
rizzed him so well, man's was gonna go on a whole petition and strike for her lmfaoo
See, I just pour boiling water over a teabag and dump in a crapton of milk and 3 heaped spoons of sugar. Takes me like, a minute tops.
I brew mine in a coffee maker
@@johnfake548 Bruh. I want a cup of tea, not a chemistry experiment. If you want to waste like 40 minutes brewing a cup of tea then go ahead. You do you fam. But for the rest of us who actually have shit to do, we'll happily take our "tea" and get on with our lives. As a black woman with bronchitis once said, "ain't nobody got time for that".
@@johnfake548 Why does this have copy-pasta meme vibes
Me am actual audio enginner using the exact same explanation to explain how my job works lol😂 thanks enna
Enna went 'ASIAN MODE, ACTIVATE' when he settled for tea.
It sounds like he was nice, but it's extremely inappropriate to ask someone out when you're IN THEIR HOUSE as basically an employee. They don't know how you're going to react, which might make them feel pressured to agree because now you know their address and they feel unsafe. Don't do that lol
He moved too fast for her lmao. Honestly, I'm the same lol. I like the long con HSHSHS
Release the extended audio engineering lecture cut :v
She activated the virginn shield
8:05 THAT IS ONE WALL OF TEXT!
Yup my kamioshi right there...
How unprofessional. That would put me on edge too. I'd want him outta there asap.
i guess enna learned a bit about love potion brewing from millie huh
That man was down horrendous for Enna lol
I won’t lie… who the fuck asks out a client in any job related task… what sort of professionalism is that.
I hope that repair guy finds his Chinese green tea goddess one day and that she introduces him to 碧螺春 and he decides Enna wasn't all that anyway.
yeah I understand because of the situation but people are being super harsh to the guy. a lot of men literally do not ever get compliments or gifts, that combined with the hobby dump could give mixed signals if you want to see someone as just a worker and not a person who can misunderstand things. men really aren't just serial killers waiting to snap, like why be that afraid off the rip. people are just upholding stigma here, probably without realizing it either.
@@soopFPS Yeah, I personally didn't see the guy as being that bad. He was merely being unprofessional. I'm sure he's a really great guy overall, it's just that Enna was probably not the one for him, lol.
@@soopFPS finally found someone empathetic to the guy
That tea naming moment is literally the same as the bit from scott pilgrim
I always knew Enna is charming
Damn, I guess some Vtubers just have some natural charm they can't turn off. XD Okay, but really though, this definitely seems like an odd, uncomfortable situation... :p
(By the way, I find it kind of interesting how much Enna's voice cracks from high pitched anime voice to a deeper normal voice, LOL.
Imagine he sees this.
Lol dude got zero professionalism
omg the fact she got all that tea and knows their purposes thoo 🥴🤭 /hj
What metal gear is to Pomu, tea is to Enna

Yo. You can just say NO. There wouldn't be much problems.😆
