i am so afraid of family drama that i ended up making an emotional wall to my family that makes them dont have the right to scold me unless i ended up doing crimes or something as a result i ended up straying away from them, watching my sibling fight with our parent but ended up the closest to my parent made me realize the verbal banter between family are some sort of bonding between families. i know that but im still afraid of having that daily banter so i ended up floating away from them. oh well i guess this is my life hahaha. So im happy with Enna having that sort of relationship with her dad.

I never heard anyone say "mei nui" (beautiful lady in Mandarin) at a Chinese restaurant so maybe it was condescending, but in Cantonese restaurants, I often hear regulars or just friendly customers call the waiters/waitresses: "leng neoi" (pretty lady in Cantonese), "leng zai" (pretty guy but it means handsome in Canto), or "leng yee" if they are older (pretty auntie in Canto) and it's not considered rude in those situations. Considering Enna was in Japan I expect the situation to be completely different, but it was really interesting to hear how it was perceived.
