*Not really.* Molly's guitar is way more insipid than the way Joni played the song and Molly's voice is breaking so much, because she is having difficulty reaching the key the piece is played in, that the whole thing comes off poorly. But I do like Molly's 'hair' rather than the wigs she usually wears.

I don’t usually like covers of Joni Mitchell. She was so very unique and so very talented that no one can do Joni but Joni. Molly, however, performs this song beautifully! I was obsessed with Joni Mitchell as a college student 1979-82 and then kind of lost track of her amidst the responsibilities of raising children and…life. In my late 50’s I rediscovered her in a big way and her music has been a great comfort to me as my husband declines with dementia. How can a musician speak to us so powerfully both in our teens and in middle age? Thank you, Joni! Thank you, Molly! Your cover brightened my Mother’s Day!
My best to you. My Dad had dementia also, and I found laughing and crying helped a lot. He went from combative to childhood regression over time. He was delightful and fun. Meet them where they are and accept it with humor. Ask for help and be kind to yourself. They often reflect your mood back. Don't argue or reason, like a 2 year old it's easier to distract and redirect. God bless you all.

I've really enjoyed watching Molly perform solo & with others. She's an amazing talent! The first time I saw her I watched The Turtles with AJ Lee performing 'Hickory Wind'.
I had the pleasure to meet her dad at Gryphon Stringed Instruments in Palo Alto last year. Jack is also an amazing talent and I'm guessing that he taught Molly early on how to play. But she's just a natural & born to play guitar & sing!
