I’ve been watching your videos for awhile now until I started posting my own videos now I have left the race track mindset and I’m just thinking street now not competition just racing buddies because I don’t have no where near the funds for drag strip upgrades right now Keep posting and I’ll keep watching
I gotta a stroker kit coming and looking at a used torque storm off a Silverado i think with some modifications i can get it on my s10. As always just gonna take some some work
I need help 97 sonoma 4.3 with 4l60 and I'm going to ls it and run the stock 4l60 torque converter, bolts will not fit the 4.8 flywheel. What do I need to buy to fix this
Love the channel boss. If you don’t mind me asking did you just get immune to the nitrous power and ready to upgrade or were you having issues tuning the truck for traction with spray? I’m building the same setup for my 93 s10 and have been studying your setup.
@@jrharman985 I appreciate that man! I don’t mind, no I never got immune to it. It was always a big adrenaline rush when I armed it. The tune was spot on and always got traction. When I first started using nitrous I could fill 2 bottles and buy fuel for $100. Now I can’t fill one bottle for $100 where I live. It’s also become a little more difficult for me to find people with it who are close. If it was still the same price as years ago, I’d keep using.
Yeah, the step up to the 84 from the og is a huge gap! Started looking quite a while back, then promptly started looking into bored blocks lol. Think FOR ME going 416-427 from the start will SAVE $$$ lol
If your still running that junk yard dog camshaft that’s your issue I love that brand cam motion makes really awesome stuff but that cam profile sucks I ran it an was not impressed I slowed down a full second when I went to that camshaft I made the switch to Btr an never looked back
I have a custom grind cam it's a 6.0 317 heads ported cut .40 ls7 lifters mellings pump single plane Holley 1/7/8 heads 850 brawler . Jakes performance converter 3800 in a C10 . I'm very impressed with setup

More na power more on boost. Keep the cam, borla xr1 are a good choice to do what you looking for

Do yourself the favor get a custom cam ground for your purpose built engine
The issue was more likely your torque converter not being matched to the cam rather than the cam itself
