The final arc seems promising. It has a lot of potential. It’s exciting. Tabata only needs to do it right. He has no other choice but to make it RIGHT. He’s a great author and a great artist. Black clover is an amazing story and it deserves a good and memorable ending.

What if Julius ability to "change shape" it's not changing shape at all, what if his innate magic is mind magic from Lucius, and he just uses to trick your mind see him as another person, and besides that, with Lucius mind magic he was able to separate his mind into two entities and has been making the second one (being Julius) not know the first (Lucius)and the devil(astaroth) existed within him, that would explain why Julius grimoire is open 24/7, that way we keep the siblings theme magic( Dante body magic, zenon bone magic, vanica blood magic, Lucius mind magic) and that would explain how he knows things that he shouldn't be able to know, Lucius always had control, giving little hints in form of memories to Julius about everything, tricking him to think his magic is time magic, that "changing shape" is one of its abilities, and Julius intuition being almost always correct being the knowledge that Lucius and astaroth had combined.
I like the theory of lucius ability but I disagree about who julius is. I think julius is astaroth but lucius manipulated his mind and turned him into julius by manipulating his memories and making him believe that his normal appearance is julius. Having 3 souls is too confusing and too much. We also know that astaroth left the underworld and that he’s in the real world. Lucius probably used his mind/soul magic to possesse/ do a devil union with astaroth/julius, and has been secretly manipulating julius memories overtime(like finding yami and vangenice). It also fits with julius saying its me right before turning into lucius.

You know, we kid about Yami being an isekia protag but I wouldn't be surprised if Beezlebub, Luciefero, and Asteroth combined their abilities to bend space and yank someone from another dimension who could wield dark magic. Many folks yanked from Japan seem to have an affinity to dark magic like Subaru in Re:Zero.
Can we talk about how his plan almost failed when he was forced to go up against William/Patri if william died he would have had to gather all the pieces over again because someone born with worldtree magic is so rare but also needing dark magic (super rare) and anti magic (ultra rare) at the same time is nearly impossible
lichita's magic is not life force absorbtion, Lichita's magic is unnamed, her magic allows her to store manaless objects and creatures inside otehr objects, allowing her to carry large amounts of stuff without having to worry about weight size or shape, her Magic Power and Lifeforce absoption is not her magic power, lichita specifically stated that she has a unique body that passively absorbs magic power and life force. this is not her magic

Been rewatching BC lately and I found something interesting on why asta doesn’t have mana. During the witches forest arc, the Queen of witches says that a sudden mutation kept Asta from having mana. The question is what is the mutation that doesn’t allow Asta to have mana? She also knew what the what the swords were and their name by just looking at them, how does show know them?
So here’s my theory: asta mom has a weird glitch where she drains life and magic from others, so to save asta, what if Lucius/astaroth manipulated her body or his body and time to just drain him of mana and kept replenishing his life span? That would explain how asta didn’t die after birth.
When Lichita left Asta at the church, there was no ancient demon skull in the background but then when he was taken in, there was. Asta was sent forward in time

I don't think lucius is inhabiting Julius I think Julius is inhabiting lucius. Lucius has siblings and is from the spade. So if anything it's likely Julius inhabiting lucius. My theory is that Lucius' base magic is soul magic so he is somehow able to manipulate the soul 🤔

Astas survival at birth is a prime example that he knew asta was going to be an asset for his plan, his mother drains life and mana from anything near her, so how was asta able to survive at birth or in the womb? My guess is Julius and Astaroth tampered with time during her pregnancy to ensure that she only drained his mana but not his life
Idk why people find it so strange Julius knew Asta had no magic without it being some massive foreshadowing. He JUST tried to pick up a sword that was draining his magic and prevented him from lifting it. Asta on the other hand could lift it with zero issue. It's not hard to put two and two together and realise the only reason Asta could hold the sword was because there was no magic to drain.

Not to mention every enemy in the damn series knew Asta had no magic right from the moment they see him, because they sense no magic coming from him. I am sure the Wizard King can sense that too.

I truly feel like Julius is kinda like Reiners whole situation from AOT. He has been behind enemy lines for so long that he has made so many great friends and accomplishments that Julius Novachrono essentially gave him multiple identity disorder.
I just realized that Asta has also already been set up to save Julius. His equinox (or variation of) slash will be able to kill the demon inside Julius without killing Julius.
One of his swords have the power to hurt whatever he wants it to hurt, so you’re correct. If he wants to hurt a demon residing in a human, a simple slash could cut away the demon without harming the human
Plus i think the reason why Charmy exists is because of Time Travelling Magic. Maybe Charmy is somehow transported into the future as a Magic Power Generator because as you know she can just eat make food and turn that into magic, or eat others magic to turn that into life force and vigor. This also explains why Charmy's background was not revealed

All those times megicula said “it’s over” or lucifero said “I’ll kill you” really did happen but it was changed. All those close calls or last minute arrivals. Kind of reminds me of Eden’s zero with Rebecca’s “car leaper” ability.
The deamon dweller sword wasn't pre-coated in antimagic it was just old and rusty and was coated after asta picked it up. Just like with yami's katana it also wasn't pre-coated with antimagic it was only after Asta started using it that it was coated.
Their could be a possibility that when licita was pregnant with asta he was restoring his life span with time manipulation so he would be born healthy and that would explain why he didn’t die when licita took him to the church but that wouldn’t explain on why he doesn’t have magic unless he can control the time of different events like he restored his life span but allowed his mom to absorb every ounce of mana that could explain everything. what do you guys think?
That part could also explain why Asta wasn't affected by Zagred's weird worms/purple cheetos. They're supposed to absorb life force (not just mana), and my boy got ''suffocated'' by them, yet he was totally fine. Why? Was it because he had no mana and to the worms he was a lifeless object so they ignored him? Or maybe... because Lucius didn't want him to be taken out of the picture before time.
That could also explain how neither yuno or asta were seen by the respective parties that dropped them off. It wasn’t just simply asta being dropped off first then yuno rather Lucius using his magic to time travel asta, maybe right after yuno was placed on the doorstep. Which is why they were both there when the door was opened.

This is EXACTLY the comparison I was thinking of reading the chapter. It fits in with the theory that Lucius/Astaroth are trying to become a god by fusing gravity, space, and time magic. He used Asta as a tool to take out Lucifero, much like Aizen used Ichigo to further awaken his hogyoku in his attempt to kill the Soul King. Ironic then that he would be defeated by the tool he used to achieve his plan. Although Julius feels a lot more like Urahara in terms of character with the noble heart and scheming nature. Its a nice dichotomy. It also leaves open a possiblity for a second series down the road and plot twists similar to the existence of the Quincy army and Ywhach, though I haven't seen any indication in Black Clover of a tertiary plot thread such as Ichigo's mom being a Quincy underneath the whole shinigami/hollow struggle. With this being the final arc, the Aizen=Julius/Lucius/Astaroth comparison is perfect.
I have this crazy theory. You know how we always say that astaroth could possibly be asta's father. But it doesn't make sense for a demon to be in the human world even the demon kings can't go in the human world. I think it makes more sense if astaroth possesed Lucius and lucius banged licita for his own benefit somehow for his plan. So lucius maybe is asta's father.

The pages are the spells. He has many spells he can use. His grimoire was always open because the demon was always using one of the demon's spells. The demon has the time magic, and was always using a spell to hide his own presence from Julius. And it also had the effect of hiding the cover by always being open. Or asteroth also used Julius' transformation magic to hide the cover. But the spell was still active until asteroth broke the spell and showed up.
I think the smirk and knowing Asta having anti magic is a bit of stretch, because when Julius held asta's sword he realized it was absorbing his magic so he figured in order for Asta to work with these swords and not die Asta should either have a huge mana pool or no mana at all and he chose the latter as it made more sense. But the rest are facts and it is pretty mind blowing how tabata changed the whole manga with just one plot twist and pretty much saved the spade invasion arc

Time has an effect on memory so maybe Astaroth did smtg to Julius's time causing memory loss or maybe his memories or sealed for some time, as u stated time is limited. Most likely in the lost ark smtg like this will be explained
Lucius IS Julius and has been the entire time, but somehow he split his personality so that he could lay low until the time was right. This would make sense since if Lucius split his personality, the new personality or person "Julius" would have no idea he was Lucius or the host of Astaroth the entire time.
I might be mistaken. Asta was predicted by Julius to die during the last arc, but due to Lucius's time manipulation that prediction became rewritten to ensure the defeat of Lucifero.
I think Lucius had all his siblings create Julius for the sake of creating the perfect vessel for himself and Astaroth. He hid his intentions from siblings or altered their memories using his mind/soul magic.

I just check isn’t Astaroth a good demon in demonology and he was already out of hell before Lucius could walk my bet is that astaroth is asta and liebe’s dad. Lucius found him somehow forced him in to a contract and use his powers over time to set everything into motion then switching with astaroth while changing his appearance and memory.
Lucius didn't force him into a contract but rather talked him into it, probably because their goals are aligned. Because I don't see how a regular human would force one the most powerful being in the story into a contract. I do agree however with Astaroth being asta's dad, due to him being a demon he has a lot of magic reserve so licita cannot kill him that easily with her magic absorption, Astaroth then used time magic to save ASTA so that he doesn't die from having his life force stolen, but still got what would be his demon/human powers taken away.

I'm lowkey salty BC is ending this soon considering the groundwork laid out so far was perfect for a long running shonen with deep lore such as one piece. Almost feel like tabata is ready to move on to their next series after taking a break and probably has something interesting in mind. Just sucks because it definitely feels like the story has been cut short and will now be in a rush to the finish.

The zogratis siblings all have body related magic, dante has body magic, megicula has blood magic, zenon has bone magic... so the only magic that makes sense for lucius/julius to have is... Mind magic. Showing how julius could disguise himself as an old woman or how lucius manipulated julius's mind throughout the entire series with that mind magic. This is also a reference to aizen, working just like kyoka suigetsu, aizen's zampakuto.
When Julius took Asta's sword and saidthat he had no magic I just think he said that because a wizard with magic likely wouldn't use a sword that doesn't allow them to use their magic and doesn't give them an advantage compared to Asta. It just would be an unwise move
I would guess depends on who invoked the spell(not Julius) the spell and how it functions, also how the relationship between the devil and the host (if there even is a host in this situation). In fact we don’t even know when the spell was activated in the first place only that as long as Julius can remember it was, it could very well have been active much much earlier than him acquiring it

First, Julius transformed himself into an old woman and saw Asta use his anti magic while chasing a thief in an episode that occured shortly after Asta joined the black bulls. This is what was behind that exchange when Julius picked up the anti magic sword. Second, remember how the time sped up for the qlipoth ritual? Even Nacht noticed this. I wonder how that fits into Astaroth's plan.
Something I picked out is from the scene when Julius reads Asta and Yuno’s grimores. Is the choice of words being “The wind spirit Has chosen him in this generation” the key words being this generation, implying he has seen other generations with different users of the wind spirit.
Swallowtail was made by the girl with exclusively sealing magic right? Couldn’t swallowtail have been a magic item to seal the devil away? Something Julius found and was forced to house the devil?
It was made by her and lemiel. That would make sense, but it doesn’t explain where he found it? How was he able to seal it without the magic required for it? He could only seal the magic of the tool within himself so how would he do the reverse?
Wait so what’s the spell that Lucious had activated the entire time? Or at the bare minimum, what type of magic was that? It couldn’t have been body transformation magic, because Julius’ grimoire was related to his time magic
I would think after Lucius and Astaroth set everything up, Lucius used a combination of his own magic and Astaroth's time magic to create an alter ego and body type Julius to make the future that Lucius seen come to fruition. Which could explain how Julius can change his body from his "normal" form to that old lady even though Julius was a user of time magic. Lucius being compared to Aizen of bleach via their actions is valid and Damnatio being able to detect most devils (minus Liebe due to not having any demonic powers(except anti magic)). Though it could basically make a plot point that Damnatio should have found the devil magic user that he was detecting but Astaroth and Lucius could prevent the thought from initiating until after Lucius' goal of Lucifero's heart was achieved. However I still don't agree with Adremelick not killing the only threats to Lucius' plans being Asta and Yami (who cares about william since he is basically still a meme) unless they are just living to test the immortal body plan or whatever he is doing.

The anti magic was attuned to the sword when it entered the grimoire. Same with yami sword, to be honest, it doesn’t have its own magic at all, it’s an “absorb/rebound” sword, no innate magic of its own
It feels like both asta n liebe really is Astaroth sons or twin sons.. Asta most probably have a magic of his own... Remember that liebe also used to be magicless until he found love for his mother n deep emotions bursting out resulting antimagic ability... Asta probably the same but he never experienced deep feelings or emotions all this time... Don't know what it is but certainly it will match perfectly to complete the antimagic capabilities... Julius knowing about weg curse isn’t a weird thing, after all he’s the wizard king and a magic nerd +there’s been devil host’s in clover kingdoms history, so there should be some info in the royal library +the scale guy knew about it also?
Ok so here's my theory on the Julius/Lucius body/soul case : I think that instead of them being different people in the same body they're rather just one person but with multiple personalities. The original one being Lucius the mastermind of the zogratis siblings. And then Julius the kind Wizard King who wishes for the good of his people. Lucius most likely needed a way for him to go unnoticed and have the power to carry out his plan in the clover Kingdom since he most likely knew that mages with Darkness and World tree magic would appear there, so what better idea than to make an alter ego that would fit the role, someone kind that can instill fear and respect into people's heart while also being able to lead them, someone fit to be a wizard king. That's when he created Julius Novachronos, a man that no one would suspect to host the enemy's leader. Like that Lucius could still carry on his plan without anyone knowing. Basically Julius was definitely influenced by Lucius and Astaroth for their own benefit but never was a bad guy, I do believe that his dream of seeing the discrimination and social gap erased to be genuine.

My theory about Lucius/Julius other magic is like an identity disorder where he creates another identity (Julius) and manipulates it like a marvel moon knight in disney plus. Also I think it makes sense how he can shapeshift because when identities are different, a person can either change personality, lifestyle, or face.
Imagine if Lucius was in a wheelchair cause he banged Licita?? What if Lucius is the reason she had that curse so that he could make a child with her knowing that it wouldn’t have any magic. He then somehow knew about Liebe & Licita’s death by seeing the future or something, after all those events happened he hid the five leaf Griamore so that when his sun was finally worthy it would have chosen him & after that he would plan things out so that Asta would get strong enough to beat Lucifero. We would truly get an Aizen twist since Lucius would the direct cause of Asta’s existence. But this is just my little theory

About the transformation magic part, I wonder if Grey will get a place in the puzzle there. There was a lot of emphasize on her magic being transmutation magic and not transformation magic. Her background is also partly unknown. Might she be related to the real Julius? Was that magic really Lucius' magic? Did Julius even ever exist? Does Lucius have some type of "possession magic" and the old lady was also taken over, possibly with the remaining time being stored? At this point, everything seems possible
What if Astaroth knew what Zagred’s plan was and manipulated time in order to have Lucius’s soul placed in Julius body and made it to where he wouldn’t wake up with the Elves’ spell.
I really want a twist where yuno became an antagonist because Lucius convinced him that he can reach "higher" by working with his plans and since yuno is strong he has the potential to become stronger than asta (Like griffith and guts situation, but with different execution), if we somehow get black clover Shippuden.

What if Julius ability to "change shape" it's not changing shape at all, what if his innate magic is mind magic from Lucius, and he just uses to trick your mind see him as another person, and besides that, with Lucius mind magic he was able to separate his mind into two entities and has been making the second one (being Julius) not know the first (Lucius)and the devil(astaroth) existed within him, that would explain why Julius grimoire is open 24/7, that way we keep the siblings theme magic( Dante body magic, zenon bone magic, vanica blood magic, Lucius mind magic) and that would explain how he knows things that he shouldn't be able to know, Lucius always had control, giving little hints in form of memories to Julius about everything, tricking him to think his magic is time magic, that "changing shape" is one of its abilities, and Julius intuition being almost always correct being the knowledge that Lucius and astaroth had combined.

I like the theory of lucius ability but I disagree about who julius is. I think julius is astaroth but lucius manipulated his mind and turned him into julius by manipulating his memories and making him believe that his normal appearance is julius. Having 3 souls is too confusing and too much. We also know that astaroth left the underworld and that he’s in the real world. Lucius probably used his mind/soul magic to possesse/ do a devil union with astaroth/julius, and has been secretly manipulating julius memories overtime(like finding yami and vangenice). It also fits with julius saying its me right before turning into lucius.

Astas survival at birth is a prime example that he knew asta was going to be an asset for his plan, his mother drains life and mana from anything near her, so how was asta able to survive at birth or in the womb? My guess is Julius and Astaroth tampered with time during her pregnancy to ensure that she only drained his mana but not his life
Idk why people find it so strange Julius knew Asta had no magic without it being some massive foreshadowing. He JUST tried to pick up a sword that was draining his magic and prevented him from lifting it. Asta on the other hand could lift it with zero issue. It's not hard to put two and two together and realise the only reason Asta could hold the sword was because there was no magic to drain.

The deamon dweller sword wasn't pre-coated in antimagic it was just old and rusty and was coated after asta picked it up. Just like with yami's katana it also wasn't pre-coated with antimagic it was only after Asta started using it that it was coated.
Their could be a possibility that when licita was pregnant with asta he was restoring his life span with time manipulation so he would be born healthy and that would explain why he didn’t die when licita took him to the church but that wouldn’t explain on why he doesn’t have magic unless he can control the time of different events like he restored his life span but allowed his mom to absorb every ounce of mana that could explain everything. what do you guys think?

They're supposed to absorb life force (not just mana), and my boy got ''suffocated'' by them, yet he was totally fine. Why? That could also explain how neither yuno or asta were seen by the respective parties that dropped them off. It wasn’t just simply asta being dropped off first then yuno rather Lucius using his magic to time travel asta, maybe right after yuno was placed on the doorstep. This is EXACTLY the comparison I was thinking of reading the chapter. It fits in with the theory that Lucius/Astaroth are trying to become a god by fusing gravity, space, and time magic. He used Asta as a tool to take out Lucifero, much like Aizen used Ichigo to further awaken his hogyoku in his attempt to kill the Soul King. Ironic then that he would be defeated by the tool he used to achieve his plan. Although Julius feels a lot more like Urahara in terms of character with the noble heart and scheming nature. Its a nice dichotomy. It also leaves open a possiblity for a second series down the road and plot twists similar to the existence of the Quincy army and Ywhach, though I haven't seen any indication in Black Clover of a tertiary plot thread such as Ichigo's mom being a Quincy underneath the whole shinigami/hollow struggle. With this being the final arc, the Aizen=Julius/Lucius/Astaroth comparison is perfect.

The pages are the spells. He has many spells he can use. His grimoire was always open because the demon was always using one of the demon's spells. The demon has the time magic, and was always using a spell to hide his own presence from Julius. And it also had the effect of hiding the cover by always being open. Or asteroth also used Julius' transformation magic to hide the cover. But the spell was still active until asteroth broke the spell and showed up.

I think the smirk and knowing Asta having anti magic is a bit of stretch, because when Julius held asta's sword he realized it was absorbing his magic so he figured in order for Asta to work with these swords and not die Asta should either have a huge mana pool or no mana at all and he chose the latter as it made more sense. But the rest are facts and it is pretty mind blowing how tabata changed the whole manga with just one plot twist and pretty much saved the spade invasion arc

I might be mistaken. Asta was predicted by Julius to die during the last arc, but due to Lucius's time manipulation that prediction became rewritten to ensure the defeat of Lucifero.
I think Lucius had all his siblings create Julius for the sake of creating the perfect vessel for himself and Astaroth. He hid his intentions from siblings or altered their memories using his mind/soul magic.

Lucius didn't force him into a contract but rather talked him into it, probably because their goals are aligned. Because I don't see how a regular human would force one the most powerful being in the story into a contract.
I do agree however with Astaroth being asta's dad, due to him being a demon he has a lot of magic reserve so licita cannot kill him that easily with her magic absorption, Astaroth then used time magic to save ASTA so that he doesn't die from having his life force stolen, but still got what would be his demon/human powers taken away.

I'm lowkey salty BC is ending this soon considering the groundwork laid out so far was perfect for a long running shonen with deep lore such as one piece. Almost feel like tabata is ready to move on to their next series after taking a break and probably has something interesting in mind. Just sucks because it definitely feels like the story has been cut short and will now be in a rush to the finish.

First, Julius transformed himself into an old woman and saw Asta use his anti magic while chasing a thief in an episode that occured shortly after Asta joined the black bulls. This is what was behind that exchange when Julius picked up the anti magic sword. Second, remember how the time sped up for the qlipoth ritual? Even Nacht noticed this. I wonder how that fits into Astaroth's plan.
Lucius being the aizen of the black force universe and time magic is one of the strongest magic next to thread magic, anti magic and paint magic.
Don't forget Dream magic and Compass magic.

Something I picked out is from the scene when Julius reads Asta and Yuno’s grimores. Is the choice of words being “The wind spirit Has chosen him in this generation” the key words being this generation, implying he has seen other generations with different users of the wind spirit.

Swallowtail was made by the girl with exclusively sealing magic right? Couldn’t swallowtail have been a magic item to seal the devil away? Something Julius found and was forced to house the devil?
It was made by her and lemiel. That would make sense, but it doesn’t explain where he found it? How was he able to seal it without the magic required for it? He could only seal the magic of the tool within himself so how would he do the reverse?

Wait so what’s the spell that Lucious had activated the entire time? Or at the bare minimum, what type of magic was that? It couldn’t have been body transformation magic, because Julius’ grimoire was related to his time magic
I would think after Lucius and Astaroth set everything up, Lucius used a combination of his own magic and Astaroth's time magic to create an alter ego and body type Julius to make the future that Lucius seen come to fruition. Which could explain how Julius can change his body from his "normal" form to that old lady even though Julius was a user of time magic. Lucius being compared to Aizen of bleach via their actions is valid and Damnatio being able to detect most devils (minus Liebe due to not having any demonic powers(except anti magic)). Though it could basically make a plot point that Damnatio should have found the devil magic user that he was detecting but Astaroth and Lucius could prevent the thought from initiating until after Lucius' goal of Lucifero's heart was achieved. However I still don't agree with Adremelick not killing the only threats to Lucius' plans being Asta and Yami (who cares about william since he is basically still a meme) unless they are just living to test the immortal body plan or whatever he is doing.

The anti magic was attuned to the sword when it entered the grimoire. Same with yami sword, to be honest, it doesn’t have its own magic at all, it’s an “absorb/rebound” sword, no innate magic of its own
It feels like both asta n liebe really is Astaroth sons or twin sons.. Asta most probably have a magic of his own... Remember that liebe also used to be magicless until he found love for his mother n deep emotions bursting out resulting antimagic ability... Asta probably the same but he never experienced deep feelings or emotions all this time... Don't know what it is but certainly it will match perfectly to complete the antimagic capabilities...

Julius knowing about weg curse isn’t a weird thing, after all he’s the wizard king and a magic nerd +there’s been devil host’s in clover kingdoms history, so there should be some info in the royal library

Ok so here's my theory on the Julius/Lucius body/soul case :
I think that instead of them being different people in the same body they're rather just one person but with multiple personalities.
The original one being Lucius the mastermind of the zogratis siblings.
And then Julius the kind Wizard King who wishes for the good of his people.
Lucius most likely needed a way for him to go unnoticed and have the power to carry out his plan in the clover Kingdom since he most likely knew that mages with Darkness and World tree magic would appear there, so what better idea than to make an alter ego that would fit the role, someone kind that can instill fear and respect into people's heart while also being able to lead them, someone fit to be a wizard king. That's when he created Julius Novachronos, a man that no one would suspect to host the enemy's leader. Like that Lucius could still carry on his plan without anyone knowing.
Basically Julius was definitely influenced by Lucius and Astaroth for their own benefit but never was a bad guy, I do believe that his dream of seeing the discrimination and social gap erased to be genuine.

My theory about Lucius/Julius other magic is like an identity disorder where he creates another identity (Julius) and manipulates it like a marvel moon knight in disney plus. Also I think it makes sense how he can shapeshift because when identities are different, a person can either change personality, lifestyle, or face.
I can't wait to see what Tabata will do with this🧐...maybe it will completely overshadow the mediocrity of the Spade Kingdom Invasion Arc 🙏

Imagine if Lucius was in a wheelchair cause he banged Licita??
What if Lucius is the reason she had that curse so that he could make a child with her knowing that it wouldn’t have any magic.
He then somehow knew about Liebe & Licita’s death by seeing the future or something, after all those events happened he hid the five leaf Griamore so that when his sun was finally worthy it would have chosen him & after that he would plan things out so that Asta would get strong enough to beat Lucifero.
We would truly get an Aizen twist since Lucius would the direct cause of Asta’s existence.
But this is just my little theory

About the transformation magic part, I wonder if Grey will get a place in the puzzle there. There was a lot of emphasize on her magic being transmutation magic and not transformation magic. Her background is also partly unknown. Might she be related to the real Julius? Was that magic really Lucius' magic? Did Julius even ever exist? Does Lucius have some type of "possession magic" and the old lady was also taken over, possibly with the remaining time being stored? At this point, everything seems possible
What if Astaroth knew what Zagred’s plan was and manipulated time in order to have Lucius’s soul placed in Julius body and made it to where he wouldn’t wake up with the Elves’ spell.

I really want a twist where yuno became an antagonist because Lucius convinced him that he can reach "higher" by working with his plans and since yuno is strong he has the potential to become stronger than asta (Like griffith and guts situation, but with different execution), if we somehow get black clover Shippuden.
That would literally retcon yuno's character
