One of the worst experiences ever 😔😔. I ran back to wide tooth comb after that, lol.

I don’t have hair quite as curly as yours but I’ve definitely learned how to care for mine by watching you and others. I used to hate my long and curly hair because where I was raised it wasn’t okay for men to have long hair, curls and they especially couldn’t take care of their hair properly without being bullied for it. April Grant to your waist? Any tips for hair growth?

    • @sensimania
      @sensimania 4 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      @@surreal5864 I'm also waist length. My advice is to learn your hair, keep it moisturised, and don't do silly things that breaks your hair.
      When I say "learn your hair", I mean learn its likes/dislikes, its porosity, and in turn learn how your hair absorbs moisture. This is key, because dryness leads to tangles and single strand knots which leads to breakage (which is one of the silly things that breaks your hair).
      I've been natural since 2014 and only learnt how to make my hair effectively absorb moisture about 6 months ago. Since I learnt that, I've had less dryness, I don't need to moisturise as often, and no single strand knots! (But I was waiste length prior to that.... probably because I mainly leave my hair alone)

    • @sensimania

      @@n.6113 I can't recommend because it depends on your hair type/texture/porosity. So what works for me might not work for you (and vice versa). I can only tell you what I use (which changes every couple of years).
      I'm type 4 (all the 4's) low porosity. The LCO method works for my hair combination. I've been using the Mane Choice for the past couple of years and always use heat when deep conditioning and moisturising my hair (because low porosity hair requires it to help the hair absorb moisture effectively).
      I've never heard of OGX before 🤔. Let me know if it works for you!

    The pre-poo you use is awesome! When my daughter has cornrows I use the pre-poo on the braid part and then undo the cornrow. It makes the cornrow so easy to get out with less tangles. Love all the products you use, many of them work so well on my daughters hair. So glad I found your channel!

It's not pretty & ALOT of work at first( been there more times than I wanna confess) but, make that lemonade girl!😊😊

    I just love your videos. U keep it real. Life for a busy Mom is not a precise schedule "like every Sunday night I wash my hair and every Weds I deep condish for 4 hrs". Heck we all get off schedule being tired or just stuff that comes up. LIFE HAPPENS!!! MONTH OLD CORNROLLS NEVER HURT NOBODY (TOO BAD). LOL. I really enjoy the info u present. My hair gets tangled really easily (only 3 or 4 days. Seeing u deal with it helps give me the 'strength' and PATIENCE!'. THX..
