I’ve always wondered why more people didn’t use their touring cars this way. These chassis aRe much better than most chassis that cheap companies put out with decent scale bodies.
Of late I have bought vintage kyosho and thunder Tiger nitro car's both touring and rally they all work but have struggled to find parts for them so bought these for parts for the other ones I have but have decided to shelf queen all of them as they still all work but I prefer not to run them and get something that I can use with parts that are available than ruin the vintage ones ,I know I will get whinged at but I am not one to destroy car's just for the hell of it
@@radiocontrolcarshed2236 I could run them but I have struggled to find parts for them so when I get offered complete car's as spares I would rather have running car's that are shelf queen's than wreck them and they look nice plus I service them and keep the ready to use never will ,I do admit my 5 RC collection 4 years ago has got out of control I now have nearly 30 now and still growing whoops

Cheers mate. And I agree, especially if you have some spare old chassis laying around, they make a superb base for such projects.

It's great to have a passion and I can understand why you would rather shelve the rare cars you have.

Are you using black thin tape for the body lines or paint?
Apologies for the late reply. I actually use black marker pen as it stays on better than the black tape.
