DJI Mavic Mini 2 not connecting to RC anymore

so I had to return it to DJI and have it serviced since there was no resolve from the internet boards. They determined that the Aircraft Core Board Module needed replacing and wanted to charge $96 parts +$65 labor to replace, and that it was due to a crash I'd had. However I had flown the drone multiple times after the crash without any issue. I explained that this was a manufacture default and not due to my crash. After going back and forth, I got them to cut the fee to $80 and give me refresh worth $50 for free. Took some work but it was either that or no drone. That being said! When you google the core board module, there are a ton of boards on how to try and repair that on your own with some simple fixes before sending off to dji. hope this helps!

Has anyone else had this happen? On my last flight a few weeks ago, I lost connection with the drone after 5 minutes and it never reconnected. Thankfully the drone flew home on RTH when the battery started to die. It even still allowed me to direct the landing to avoid a tree while the screen was black. (No crash) But now the 2 no longer connect and I don't know how to fix it. I'm in Colombia and not planning to go back to the states for a few months where they recommend I return it for servicing. Notice the LED lights are flashing. Not sure what the color sequence means...
I know I need to update firmware but they need to connect to do so. Also, the DJI software is not compatible with macos11 yet so I can't connect in with that. Please help!
Note that I did the following from DJI online and they did not work either:
Method 1: Connect the DJI Mini 2 aircraft to the mobile device, enter the flight interface in DJI Fly, and tap "Pair to Aircraft (Link)" at the bottom of the interface to enter the linking state;
Method 2: Press and hold the "Customizable Button" on the upper left corner, the "Photo/Video Toggle" on the upper right corner, and the "Shutter/Record Button" on the top panel of remote controller for two seconds simultaneously. When the remote controller is beeping, and the battery level LEDs on the remote controller are blinking sequentially, you can start linking.

When the DJI Mini 2 aircraft is powered on, press and hold the aircraft power button for 4 seconds. When the aircraft is beeping, and the battery level LEDs are blinking sequentially, the aircraft is linking.

Me two I used the drone for two flights. First was perfect second time it lost connection at 50 feet away and RTH 100 feet then landed in the trees. Now it won’t bind to the controller no matter what I try.

@@alaashalaldeh1427 I clicked on camera view! 1:15 , then on the 3 side dots! the "connect to aircraft" button worked for me!

No hope, mine also doesn't work. don't know what to do. What worked for me, new cable between controller and phone. Keep in mind right connector to the right port.

I’ve had my new DJI Mini 2 for approximately two months and have only been able to connect it to he RC and fly it twice. Many attempts have been made and I’ve only been able to connect and fly it on two occasions.
Mine is cooked, i turn mine on and the light flashes yellow/green then it goes to green and it doesn’t say fly drone on my screen it continues to say connection guide, sometimes I have to wait like 20 minutes then it randomly connects, I can’t get it to connect straight away? Shitting me up the wall
Controller was faulty, replaced it and worked fine
I just fixed mine,
1. I had to turn on the controller
2. connect the phone to the controller
3. Turn on the Aircraft
4. Press and hold 3 buttons on the controller ( the fn button on the upper left conner, the camera button on the right upper corner and the record button bottom right bumper) until the controller beeped
5. press and hold the power button on the aircraft for 4 seconds
That fixed my drone and then I had to install a firmware update once the drone was connected.

Yeah bro. It also work for my drone.
Mine was brand new and I couldn't get it to fly. In the settings it showed "aircraft disconnected". Turned out it required me to go through the tutorial, so I reset the tutorial and did it. It then showed me that theres a button on-screen (not the RTH button) to launch the Mini 2 into the air, then it lets u take the controls from there. Also need to accept the flight zone restrictions, etc. Hope this helps some.

I’m having the same issue called support they tried to do trouble shooting with me and nothing ! Now I’m going to the ups store to ship it out . I just got this thing for Christmas and if this continues ima be pissed . Is dji unreliable ? Or is this a slim chance of happening ?
I found a solution. The wire that connects the controller to the phone needs to be inserted into the correct port. One of the controller ports is blank and one is live. If you are plugged into the blank you will not be able to connect the controller.

sadly no :( I haven't had any luck and am having to wait to return it until I go home. DJI didn't offer much as far a support options or how to fix on my own.

I have exactly the same problem for almost 2 weeks I have tried everything if anyone knows about the mini1 please let me know
I don't know if it's the same problem but I go to "connect aircraft" then when it says "aircraft not detected ?" you clock on it, it's gonna ask you to do some stuff and it should work.
Get a new cable my problem was the cable was bad and try cleaning the ports with a computer cleaner duster can the two ports
2022 Update caused both Mavic Air 2 and Air 2s to become disconnected to the DJI Fly App. The update seems to be continuous for atleast an 8 hour period. You will have to take the flight tutorial again. They both came back to life and I am happy.🎉😂😅

I had the same problem with mine that I had purchased from my friend and my Iphone 11 only connected once and that was all after that kept on getting not connecting to device , bought a new cable , uninstall app reinstall ap no good, but then I did an firmware update off of dji assistant 2 and now it is working just a firmware update try it

Hi all, I had the same problem, but accidentally I found that the contact to my iPhone was bad. I used a bit of pressurized air to clean the port and BINGO my drone/controller worked again as new😅

@@fitrajibs strange problem indeed. I have this problem also today. Because Yesterday everything was ok. Nextday no link betwin remote and drone... i made a dji case
