Literally the only reason they're remaking this game is because they saw Capcom making a ton of money remaking the Resident Evil games and wanted in on it. They should have started at the first one if they really wanted to remake a game that deserves it, but of course Konami only cares about milking their long-dead cash cow. I feel bad for Masahiro Ito. He's already said that he regrets creating Pyramid Head because Konami insists on inserting him into everything without a care for the fact that he makes no sense to be there, and this remake probably isn't helping.
That's something that bugs me. When are we getting a Silent Hill 1 remake!? That game is in desperate need of one and needs all the improvements that Silent Hill 2-4 got (like not having to increase the difficulty every time I want to start a new game plus. Seriously, that ruined repeated playthroughs for me and made me rage quit because it was so hard and tedious to get all the endings, secret weapons, etc.).
Yep. Pyramid Head is just the manifestation of James’ own psyche created to punish him for what he did to his wife. It’s self-torture. Pyramid Head isn’t even a “villain” in regards to the Silent Hill universe. I would go so far as to argue that Silent Hill 2 isn’t even connected to the other games. It’s more of a “Jacob’s Ladder” story about a man that killed his wife and keeps punishing himself for the guilt. When they made the bonus content for Silent Hill 2 starring Maria, it made me wonder if the original team that worked on the game had anything to do with it. Maria is a manifestation of James’ desire for love/affection. How was she a “playable” character? Silent Hill 2 was a deeply psychological thriller that explored the concepts of Hell, morning the loss of a potential life, and a redemption for bad people (if they choose it). I fear the remake team may miss these points - especially considering how many times Pyramid Head has appeared in other games since.
@@troin3925 That was always my assumption, that the way Silent Hill works is so warped that Maria herself doesn't even know that she's not real, and the only one in on it is the town itself as it twists and manipulates its creation to fit what role it needs her to like some kind of puppeteer god. I've always had that theory about all the monsters, that even though they're technically not 'real' in a sense, they're real enough to suffer just as much as the protagonist because they're constantly being tortured and manipulated by an outside force they can't fight back against, and they're aggressive because it hurts and they want it to stop.
Los primeros segundos son glorioso. "Mary" **seguido por la parte que pega mas fuerte de la cancion y el nombre del juego** Difiero en algunas cosas del trailer pero me encanta que pusieras terror y accion perfectamente equilibrado. Exelente trabajo.👏🏻
Again, no Maria. Giant. Red. Effing. Flag. They are going to bend the knee to Sony and give her a unisex outfit like they made Capcom do for every single female in the Resident Evil Remake series. Another beloved series is about to get the "Modern" Remake treatment and be forgotten about in a week.

I already listened to the official version of Theme of Laura for the remake and...i didn't like it. I know that Akira Yamaoka worked again on the remake and i can't believe he was actually ok with it. This one sounds way more like something from Akira Yamaoka compared to the remake version. But there's another music tracks on the remake that are way more better compared to the original so i'm not that mad.
Akira has always struggled with that song in live performances. He doesn't know how to hold the notes and use vibrato for some odd reason. I think he's not in love with that track for some reason. As a guitarist myself, I also cringed a bit at the new version. The main issue is the lead guitar. I have a cover on my channel showing how to actually play the melody without rushing it like he does.

The combat gameplay kinda looks like evil within + re remake anyway great job Konami we're happy that this game is being alive can't wait to play this game in PS5 💙
Kinda reminds me of Callisto Protocol
It kinda reminds me of last of us a little with the over the shoulder and the combat swinging with the plank which i wouldnt mind that i love the last of us. Too bad there was never a real sequel😂😂 see what i did there
I was waiting for this thing a long time ago!
This is the real trailer
Can’t wait for the Silent Hill 2 Remake trailer Remake
Now this is something I wanted to see!
Good job!!!!
Now THIS HITS 😩❤️
It is a pleasure of mine having the opportunity to listen to this song once more.
When a AA team can make a AAA game that lives up to the original it makes you wonder how these AAA game studios get away with half the stuff they do
Cannot wait for this long waited masterpiece
Shit, this was more hype then their official trailer. Hats off 🎩👏
Had the game for my PS2 back in the days, on the Bonus-Disc there was a "Making of" this song, loved it... still do! Game & song!
Place i live in looks like real Silent Hill. This is so depressing to live here😢
Ohio?😂

Konami doesnt understand that SH isn’t a “Horror” game ITS a “Psychology” Horror game. You cant replicate what you cant understand or fear
I think they understand it’s psychological but they don’t know shit about psychology that’s why they hired bloober and the 🌈 it’s trauma 🌈 guys xd
@@ReligiousHooker if they understood any of the key elements of what made SH a gem they will know that most of the RE they are taking note from isnt what people r looking for or what SH is! Also who the hell focus on FIGHTING IN SH LIKE YES WE FIGHT BUT ITS NOT THE REAL REASON MONSTERS R THERE!!! We r fighting our OWN demons thats what SH monsters are about.
Considering they used Promise in the latest Story Trailer, I'm pretty sure they saw this video!
The gunplay looks like "The Evil Within" now I'm interested 🤔
The evil within>>>>>> silent hill/reaident evil

I like how it looks tbh

Beautifully cut and edited.
this is big mistake to change the key and bpm of the soundtrack
Now this is Silent Hill trailer that we want, not Resident Evil
Wow!. Well done is all I can say!
This hit me so goddamn hard. This game, both the OG and the original, are SPECIAL experiences. Just feels so real and so good. The music sends me crack but brings me home
0:57 Konami, what did you do to me?
Can you release the song with as a soundtrack without any bg noises its really great and wanna keep listen this over again
LETS GOOOOOOO WE BACK GANG 🤘🏾
What a time to be alive.....
@@chrisfisk I'd argue that with Born From a Wish, we witness the first time Maria was created. Any memories or mentions of her life were fabricated.
@@Pipkiablo Even Pyramid Head is in pain.
If I could give a 5 stars or a love reaction, believe me I will do it. This is so beautiful and the sounds behind the music are just amazing
Thank you! I worked hard on this one.
Los primeros segundos son glorioso.
"Mary" **seguido por la parte que pega mas fuerte de la cancion y el nombre del juego**
Difiero en algunas cosas del trailer pero me encanta que pusieras terror y accion perfectamente equilibrado. Exelente trabajo.👏🏻
my gosh, god bless you! amazing fan trailer 💜 You sold me the game much more than Konami xD
This is something else ❤❤
Keep it Konami. You flushed the dream project with Kojima, Del Toro, and Darryl down the toilet. Too late to apologize now. 🖕👎
I agree with you.
They have ruined their franchise forever.
Here again after Bloober released the Launch Trailer with Theme of Laura, bravo 👏
Damn thought konami put out i a better trailer. I guess the fans know best lol
Are you Laura Palmer?
Are you Henry?
@@StudioMod I feel like I know him, but sometimes my arms bend back.
man, where did you find that version of theme of laura? I tried to find it in the WHOLE youtube and could find nothing wtf, if you did that you're a legend, congratulations.
It's my remix, yes.
Tbh I think I like the original better
You, me, and everyone else too lmao.
This Trailer is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than the original one!, Thanks for making it!
My pleasure.
You made it look and feel like the original’s trailer. Awesome❤
It still looks mediocre. Bloober is just not up to the task.
Bloober?
Bloober Team are developing the game whilst Konami are just publishing it. Bloober Team... Let's just say are not the best are creating psychological horror. @@mdalsted
This looks really good💖
