Loved the mid to late 80's Flyers what a great team. They seemed built to handle Edmonton. Still watch Dave's two man short handed goal against Quebec in the playoffs now and then. Really believe if it wasn't for Pelle's accident there'd be at least one more cup residing in Philadelphia.
Lindbergh was a goaltending savant. I remember him making pad saves and kicking the puck right out of the defensive zone. Hard to know if they’d have kept him or moved him once Hextall was ready, but he was coached and mentored by Bernie Parent
