    I can't believe it will 34 years this November since he died. Every Thanksgiving, I think of my all time favorite NHL player on my favorite team cause I thank God for allowing me to witness the little Swede who was played like magic in goal. He is a Flyer forever, but a wizard also. I will always love and miss him. He came from Sweden, and into all our hearts. His warmth and smile was so inspiring. Great goalie. Better person. God had a great day when he molded the perfect goalie.

    I’m a Bruins Fan through and through but I remember Lindbergh when he played fir Philly as being a young incredible goalie. I thought they were more than capable of winning a Cup or two with him and that Team at the time. God Bless you Pelle Lindbergh. 🙏

    What a great person and man he was going to be one of the greatest goalies of all time one of The last stand up goalies. I remember waking up and hearing it on the TV that he was killed in a car wreck I am feeling just as bad now as I was on that morning so damn sad what a good person and a great goalie RIP PELLE

    They didn't miss him at all. Had virtually the same record without him.
    Why don't you all cry about the way Todd Bergen was run out of the league by monsters Clarke and Keenan. Don't even see a ytoob video on it.

  • @hungrylion8703

    Lets get real. He was an .887 goaltender. The 711 Slurpee Ice at the Spectrum made any goaltender look great.
    And lets call that "team" The Tim Kerr Flyers. They couldn't beat anybody when he was injured.

      .899 in 1984-85 over 65 games, tops in the league. Good enough for the Vezina and his 2nd All Star selection. Oh, and that team he pulled into the Cup Finals was the youngest team to ever play for a championship. Now we are "real".

    Remember that first cup final with Edmonton? When Kerr reinjured that team's energy dropped by about 98%. I mean the rest of the series was just exhibition season. Nobody cares.

    • @johnwhyte2638
      @johnwhyte2638 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Worst injury was Brad McCrimmon out midway in the Qubec series. Dropped the Flyers to 3 defence, or pairing Howe with Ed Hospodar who Edmonton took full advantage of every time he was on the ice. Lindbergh played the whole Finals with a knee injury as well which finally kept him out of the lineup in game 5. Poulin played with cracked ribs in the Finals as well, injured in the Quebec series.
