Nursing student here, I have a used classic SE 2 (maybe 5 years old) and brand new classic 3 bought this year and the sound of my classic 3 is louder to my ear .
For students, (med or nurse) i would say it doesn't really matter, you can buy a 20 usd stethoscope and be just fine, if you want to buy something reliable to last a long time then okay, a littmann may be a good idea, but it's not necessary, so you can go with the cheaper option
Just a question, I wanted to give my graduating girlfriend the littmann classic III as a gift but, from what other people are tellling me, it should have like a hologram sticker infront for it to be authentic? Is that true or not in all cases? I'm really not familiar with these kinds of stuff as I'm working on a different field
Will the diaphragm of a classic 3 Littmann stethoscope fit with a classic 2? Does the diaphragm of a classic 3 have a built in rim that is ready to attach unlike classic 2 which still needs a rim?
I'm not any kind of a doctor but I bought a Littmann classic 3 just to keep an eye on the old ticker and I can hear everything BUT a heart beat through it. anyone know what could possibly be wrong with it or maybe I should just send it back.

As a nursing student is it worth buying the new one over the old one? There is a VERY big difference in price😬

So, yeah, you asked that 2 years ago... did you find out?
I'd like to know this as well?!!!
@@jessiejohnston8655 yes! I bought parts for the classic 3 and they fit perfectly in the classic 2
@@thiagozlin, did it fit the Classic II SE?
@@josephuky yes, my stethoscope is a classic II SE.
"doctor's sthetoscope" I see what you did there. Nurses will flip shit from every corner of the globe. haha.
Which one is the best for lifetime!??
Littmann 111 is the more up to date so we would recommend going with the newer model although the classic 11 is still a great stethoscope
I have the classic iii. I have troulble attaching the non-chill rim to the small diaphragm. :/ Otherwise, the stethoscope is good.

What is littmann???
a brand
He is a man master in literature.
I though they're recommended for the paramedics.
um02122 a study is being done on stethoscopes that suit the prehospital environment but Littmann classics and cardiology ones are used mostly
Иначе как продавать более дорогие модели?
