Always thought I was not a fan of Chukkas but this review made me realize I was just not fan of the lasts used. This one is drop dead gorgeous. Lucky owner 👌
It makes more sense to have a rubber sole on this model though. These shoes are about the sensation, the emotions and the pleasure that they make you feel.
@@MisiuAcademy I know it’s stage. I’m asking because I have a experience with other brands, the lasted trees fit only the “standard” width. It was way too loose in my shoes. Then they shipped out a size larger and the fit was horrible again. I think the only real lasted trees are the hinged ones.
I don’t think the hinged ones make such a difference. In any case Paolo scafora shoes run E-EE width for the most part and my shoe trees fit well and snug
@@MisiuAcademy I mean the hinged ones fit without to much pressure/tension at the shoe. How did you think about the fit of the trees…? Is it ok, if the leather at the vamp is not really stretched (but the creases are flattened) and the spring is only compressed about 2-3mm! At my understanding it’s better this way then to much pressure and lost of the shape! It’s like a bespoke pair of shoes and trees in form of the last, when the shoes are older and a bit stretched, then there is also a bit of room without tension but the shape stays intact. I hope you understand what I want to say?

Did you know if it’s possible to get lasted trees for a wide fit shoe from Paolo Scafora?
Hi, your question is strange. Lasted shoe trees only fit the last and shape they are made for. They won’t fit any other last or other brand.

Yes I do. I think the scafora trees fit perfect. The Edward green ones on the other hand…
Diamonds or waffles? I think if I were paying that much money I would definitely call it diamonds.
Waffles are tasty though and so are the shoes! I leave it up to your imagination!
